Just received email advising from next week videoslots are accepting bitcoin from Australian customers. So they aren't shutting Australia down after all!

Apparently we can also deposit by credit card but must withdraw by bitcoin.

Only problem with bitcoin are the spikes in pricing

Hi theslotsking,
Yes I got the same email. Do you or anyone else have any good links for information you can share about Bitcoins.? How they work, how much, where to buy ? I researched on the net and now am inundated by Bitcoin email spammers. I thought each Bitcoin was worth 12 grand Aud so how do you make a part deposit to a casino. ?
Thanks

I got the same email and I am so happy. :)

The previous email we received did not say they were closing our accounts but did say we will not be able to deposit or withdraw due to changes to the payment processor and our accounts will be restricted.

And now we have the option to use bitcoin :)

I have not a clue about bitcoin and how it works, I will have to look it up unless someone can explain to me more simply :)

If you want to start using bitcoin, it is really really expensive to get and there is only so many that are actually " there".You can go to certain sites, get yourself a wallet and start mining. Trading is part of the process so you have to be very good at math. A lot of people have bots, because the prices are all over the place. This is the highest its ever been in the 3 years I have been doing it. You can start here.

for your wallet which you need to be attached to a trading/mining site.

For one bitcoin? Hahahaha, NONE of us can afford it, that why there isnt very many.
1 Bitcoin equals
12659.89 Canadian Dollar

You get tiny fragments by mining and then sell them, and keep doing that. But you have to know when to sell, and that is by watching the charts. The website I posted has all that. I never used bitcoin on a casino but I'm guessing $20 dollars, worth of one full bitcoin.if your diligent can take you a couple of hours of mining. There is so many greasy sites out there because it isnt regulated, but the two sites I posted are the best. Just dont use the lite version of dodge coin, because it cant handle too many transactions and it will " break". and you will lose your money. Use the downloaded version.

Omg I can never play at Video Slots then :(

But I will try what you suggested, thank you :)

You can buy a tiny fragments of Bitcoin at Coinbase using Visa Debit card or Paypal and then send to Blockchain.info wallet --> deposit to casinos.
I use Blockchain.info, and once I got my head (partially) round how it works, I haven't had any problems.

I have heard about this "mining" that bebo67 is talking about - but I haven't the faintest idea how that works!
You can just buy Btc using normal payment methods, and I don't think there is a high minimum.

How to Deposit With BitCoin Tutorial: Casino, Sportsbook, Poker 2017:

Thanks for that info, it took me watching the tutorial a few times to get it as it is a bit confusing lol

Once I do it a few times it will be ok, I hope lol

This is how it will work:

You get an e-wallet account with a Bitcoin supplier as "Cubits".

You deposit AUD to your Cubits account or any other currency you wish.

You go to deposit page at the Casino and put in the amount you wish to deposit. A message is shown on the deposit page how much this is approx in Bitcoins.

You get to the second page where you input how much you wish to deposit in bitcoins (input same sum you saw on deposit page).

An exchange happens on your e-wallet account from your E-wallet AUD - > Bitcoins -> AUD on your Casino account. Same goes on withdrawals. You never need to actually have your money in bitcoins.

Please note that it might take up to 20 mins before money hits your account on the Casino and on withdrawal if you dont use same supplier as Casino does.

Most Casinos seem to be using Cubits.

That seems simple but don't you need a blockchain so its not shown that money is being used for gambling?

I just want to have the safest and best option so I need all the help I can :)

I think I am confusing myself now lol

Oddly enough, this showed up in my e-mail during the night . I have never used bitcoin in casinos, so maybe this will help? I dont even know who this casino is.

Blockchain is just another wallet. It want matter which one you use in that regard, only in speed of payment. I would just recommend to use the same as the casino you play at to get fastest deposits and withdrawals. However, if you dont. We talking 20mins delay at max. So no big issues.

Here I was thinking I was special to get that email because of the amount i deposit lol

If I knew i wouldn't have blown as much as I did Wednesday night at VS thinking its the last time I can deposit :(

Had a withdrawal from joefortune via bitcoin because that's the only option they gave me for WD and then tried making a deposit back via it but havn't bought bitcoins yet via an exchange.

Was able to deposit to Neteller via bitcoin and then withdraw from my bank account via there but lost approx 10% in deposit and withdrawal fees.

As for people asking about mining, don't bother. Bitcoin stopped being mine able around 5 years ago unless you have special ASIC mining machine's and leave in a region where power is cheap. Some of the other cryptocurrencies are supposed to be mine able if you have one of the latest GPU's but not bitcoin itself.

I've been using Coinbase for a little while now and is very easy to use for buying Bitcoin, Etherium and Litecoins.
You can deposit up to $300 a week with Visa card to begin with but you can get that raised although I have not bothered.

A good site for Aussies to use is Coinspot.com.au
It's a bit of a hassle to get verified!
Harder than casinos!
Had to take a pic of my drivers license next to my face and another pic holding a written statement with a special number they assign you.
Then a closeup of drivers license but it could not be scanned, you had to use a camera.
My license is a bit worse for wear after 9 years and took a couple goes before they were satisfied.
Also a copy of a utility bill but at least they allowed a scan of that one.

Once verified however life got very easy at Coinspot.
Simply added my bank details and I was good to go.
You then easily deposit straight from your savings account instantly via Poli and buy any number of different crypto coins whereas Coinbase only lets you use the three I mentioned at the top of the post.

FEES

Only issue with bitcoin transactions at the moment are the mining fees when sending bitcoins to merchant or wallet , this is due to the current hype around bitcoin and the increased pressure on the block-chain sometimes a transaction as small as 5 to 30 euro bitcoins equivalent can cost you just under half or over the amount of the transaction just getting the coins to its destination, It has basically frozen my activity using bitcoin
