Well, this never happened to me before (honestly). Just logged in and found $800 in my Guts account. CSR told me that I had won this amount in the Spring Raffle, and I can cash it all out! There was no message about this, but I don't mind obviously! I thought it was a mistake at first:)

Just cashed out $600 and will play some more, thanks Guts!

That’s a great start to the day. Glad you withdrew some. Spoil yourself a little.

Great surprise! Now spoil yourself :)
Also great reading something nice about Guts. They are still good in many ways

This belongs in another thread... and I am deeply ashamed.

Made another deposit, after I lost the $200. Worked it up to 1,900. Had 2 cash withdrawals totaling 2,500. I begged them to flush it. They said it could not be done, although it was possible 2 weeks ago. Explanation: It was busy, so it could take up to 24 hours.

End result (all my own stupid fault). Reversed the lot and blew it all on Bonanza staking $10 per spin.

That's too bad. I know this doesn't do any good now, but perhaps if something similar arises in the future you could try temporary self exclusion (for however long a cashout takes)? Not sure if they offer that for short periods of time or not there, but then you don't even have to THINK about the possibility of reversing that withdrawal.

Yes, when I got back to them that's what they suggested, but that suggestion was not made when I needed it and asked for a manual flush. I should have thought of that myself.

wow :( :( Not something I thought I'd ever read from yourself

Feel your pain but only positive thing you can take from it is, bookmark this page as a reminder and don't ever do it again!

i won on guts and rizk yesterday 3 withdrawals all paid within 10 mins not huge but great for me (£160/£120/£300

i just wonder how some people seem to get messed around sometimes with no rhyme or reason casinos shall ever remain mysterious,

Yes, I was almost begging the CSR to flush my withdrawal. I made it clear that it didn't need to be in my Neteller account immediately, just that I was not able to reverse it. Boilerplate answer: up to 24 hours....

Two weeks ago they could flush it and it was paid very fast too, but this time it wasn't.

Oh well, I think I'll go back to VS - they do pay fast every time (in my experience).

And yes, it's true Guts has been very generous with bonuses and free spins, but fast cashouts (or at least locked withdrawals or flushing) are crucial to me.

As trading conditions worse due to more and more regulation i think we are going to see a lot more of this stuff happening

Can you elaborate SpinUK? Guts promotes RG but does not (or not always) flush withdrawals. You mean they hold on to withdrawals longer to compensate for their own losses?

By the way, I reached out to the rep (Aleksi). As a plaster, and also considering my unique case, he has added Super Free Spins on Starburst, 100 fs on Gonzo's and a $50 nd bonus with 10x WR (which resulted in a free bonus of more than $100). To me this is proof that Guts do care about player retention.

I wasn't lucky though, but there's always next week. :D

I'm really sorry that happened :(

I don't really play slots unless I think I have close to a neutral or positive EV opportunity. But 2-3 times, my impulsiveness got the better of me and I raised my stakes and lost ~€1-2k each time, because my RTP can never go above like 60% when I raise the stakes! When it happens though, I'm completely aware of what's happening at all times & I feel sick to my stomach! But I still just keep going. So I was curious when reading this (and others are free to chime in too); did you feel the same way I did during the process of losing the €2.5k? Or were you enjoying yourself just gambling away and then after some time had passed, realized "shit, I just lost it all"? Or something in between?

I'm just a bit fascinated with the effects that gambling can have on one's brain after these events and after watching a bunch of documentaries about problem gambling (to deter myself from ever doing that again). Because I used to think that I would never stoop to that sort of behavior, yet I still did because I entered like a really degenerate state of mind. And the shame afterwards felt crippling, like I just wanted to disappear lol.

Very good questions xexe. For me it's like I am entering this "zone" (while I was doing $10 stakes on B.) and I'm trying to "will the slot" into paying me at least 150x-200x or a bonus feature, which then of course never happens in that session.

There are also times that I have sufficient self-control as I don't allow myself to emerge completely into this "zone". Still, this doesn't explain all of it. It can also be attributed to self-destructive behaviour at that point. Self-punishment triggered by some subconcious motive(s) perhaps... But in the end, I just love the rush and find it often difficult to stop playing. High levels of adrenaline and dopamine that keep me wide awake and excited for many, many hours.

Of course I felt disappointed about blowing it all away, but I didn't feel stressed or depressed about the loss itself. In the end I had lost $254, that's around my weekly limit. I was upset about my withdrawals still being pending, despite my request to flush them.
