Very misleading iPoker promotion

Today iPoker had a promotion which was a '$2,000 added MTT', however the tournament buyin was $1+$1 (yes 100% rake).
The tournament got over 2,000 runners which meant nothing was added due to the rake and iPoker infact ended up making almost $200 profit.

What? To me it looks like 2194 runners and a prize pool of $4194.

Added is not the same as guaranteed.

Looks legit to me with the limited info given.

Boyles made $194. Looks like a freezout and 2194 players entered hence rake paid to the 2 k ($1 a pop rake) but the added attracted people.

I have to agree, there is nothing wrong here except the high rake.

Well, if they dont make profit you wouldnt have any good poker rooms to play at! Its not free to run a poker room. Just the server cost most be insane!

Despite the high rake there was still a risk to the room as if only 500 players turn up the promotion costs them $1500. Granted it didn't end up being particularly good value for the players who took part but the $1+$1 was clearly displayed all along.
