Hey there,

Kinda frustrated at the moment with this topic. Today i went to withdrawal at vegascrestcasion and they now charge a 10% fee (as of July 19, 2019) on all bitcoin withdrawals. So, if you were to withdrawal $1000 in bitcoin thats a whopping $100 dollar fee!!! That is insane to me as every other casino that i have EVER played at has charged $0 fee to withdrawal in bitcoin. I spoke with chat and they said that is what their processor charges. Sorry just ranting a little bit, and also a word of caution for those that play at VegasCrest.

I considered making a thread about this very topic, it's pretty ridiculous. I was fortunate enough to hit a big win a few months ago there (but unfortunately have pretty much lost it all elsewhere, which makes this more frustrating - big win feels like it turned into more of a curse), so was gradually cashing it out. Despite it being a slot progressive, they were unwilling to send it any faster than normal - which meant it would be several months.

But to start with they were at least paying it out consistently. Then it started to take several weeks to receive withdrawals, and then I started to consistently receive about 10% less than I was supposed to based on current exchange rates. At the time, there was no % fee but a $25 flat fee, and now a couple of weeks later I see there's a ridiculous 10% fee and the withdrawal limits have been reduced. I wonder if there's a connection between the two (being consistently shorted BEFORE any fee was introduced by about the same amount as this new fee.)

So I've cashed out the majority of the money on there by this point, but not really sure what to do with the rest of it, since I prefer not to have to go through bank accounts (had one closed a couple years ago due to gambling transactions) but don't want to pay this 10% fee either - for all I know I'll have to pay the fee and still get shorted ANOTHER 10% on the exchange rate.

I really wanted to like this casino since they have a good game selection and promotions, but there's just been too many bugs and problems, and the problems never seem to get fixed even when I tell them (promotions not working/being credited, problems with games, problems with withdrawals). And now there's this ridiculous 10% fee which can't just be explained away as an issue support couldn't/wouldn't resolve - and on bitcoin of all things. A 10% fee.

An example of one of the funny things this casino does is that as a "VIP" they'll add a $5 bonus comp with a $495 (99x) wagering to your account without telling you - even if your account already has a significant balance on it (hundreds, thousands, whatever). So basically it just makes it so you can't cash out and have to be paranoid about violating a bonus term for a bonus you didn't even know you had. I don't think there's any malicious intent to it, but it's just another funny example of an absurd but stingy "benefit" for the player. As I said above, their normal deposit bonuses are actually pretty generous, so very strange. While I probably would have played anyway, those $5 bonuses have cost me hundreds of dollars multiple times.

When that happens just e-mail them and have them remove the bonus. I have had that happen to and they removed the bonus. Left my money in there without any wagering requirements. I used to play there often, but stopped playing there when I read on another site, they denied a players withdrawl, a decent one at that for playing only 1 game. I also stopped playing there because I realized their brand of chain reactors was not a fair game. There were 17 of us that played that game had a total of 1.37 million spins trying to get the top prize of the 4 highest paying symbols. Not one of us hit it and only 2 of us hit the top prize for the lowest paying symbol in all those spin. Never once did any of us have more then 5 of the highest paying symbols on the screen at one time. Not that we got paid for them because they were scattered all over the screen they were not together.

There was also some chatter about their sites using bots because the same people were winning the highest prize on their Keno games atleast 3 times a week, and I have played them and did win but not as often as the others winning just about every other day. When I do play there I play the slots, but not there brand of slots because they are the only slots I know and have ever played with NON PAYING symbols which come out all the time. On every spin you will get a non paying symbol. A lot of the time you will get full paylines of non paying symbols.

When I was lucky enough to cashout there I always did a bank transfer even though it was 65 dollars and between them charging 65 dollars, the processor charging another 30 dollars( they deny that, but all my withdrawls after the 65 dollars was removed showed up in my bank 30 dollars less) was really the only option I had because I don't use bitcoin.

Being from the US we have a limited number of places to play. So I take the good with the bad.

All the best,
LH

Ya i played there 2-3 weeks ago high roller 200% bonus as i did once in a while. I hit big finally and looked at cash out.. 10% wtf.. they also had taken 5% fee on the deposit.. they take a huge chunk. Then i was ripping everywhere and almost reversed to lose all so i contacted support and asked them to lock my account for the duration of the withdrawal process. They didn,t instead they sent me a email saying ih ad free spins waiting in my account... Dumbass me went and looked lol. There was no free spins it was a lie to make me return.. and it worked i was going to play spins so.. i reversed.. to run into nuked site, completly nuked... all slots roulette .. could bet black 5 times in a row would be all red, bet red would be all black, it was complete garbage and i finally ripped all. I called them on it and they said they don't allow players to lock their account while they have a pending withdrawal hahaha complete scammers... can't lock an account while pending.. and they have stupid long cash out time and everything is made on purpose to make you reverse and lose as you see the crazy fees.. the delay, everything and just return. After i called them on their irresponsible gambling behavior they stopped contacts and closed my account. I guess i won't be allowed to get scammed again there lol.

Yep it's a complete rip off now. This was my to go to casino but I won't play there anymore. I am not going to pay a 10% fee on my winnings. If you hit big you are going to forfeit a lot of your winnings. I withdrew my last 1000 to my bank and paid 65 or whatever that fee was. But I have no reason to play if I can't cash out to bitcoin cheaply. They use to charge 25 which was a ripoff to begin with. But 10% is absurd. I just keep playing to hope to hit more to pay the fees. So i am done with them until they change it back to 25. You already pay fees when you deposit. There is no reason to charge 10% on your WD. This is literally the craziness thing I have seen after 20 years of online play. Done with them.

I posted this question on another site:

It is my understanding that now when you cashout using Bitcoin you charge a 10% fee? That is outrageous! To cashout using wire transfer is 65 dollars. If someone is lucky enough to win like 5 grand you will charge them 500 USD to process that using Bitcoin and 65 dollars for each wire transfer?

This was the reply:

Hi LHofsdal,

At VegasCrest Casino we offer a selection of safe and secure withdrawal options to ensure that our players receive their winnings in a timely manner. Processing costs are incurred with all transactions and these are clearly shown on site when you select the pay-out methods. You can then choose which method best suits your requirements before you request your withdrawal.

Unfortunately, there are costs incurred with all financial transactions and although these are beyond our control, they are clearly stated on site.

Best Regards,

VG Team

My next question was why they charge fees that are so much then any other casino. Still waiting on a reply.

They have zero reason to charge 10% on fees with bitcoin. They had no reason to charge 25 dollars either. They are just greedy. Sadly they were one of the best sites. They also take like a week to pay. So if I am paying 10% on bitcoin why does it take an entire week to get paid LOL.. for that kind of fee it should be immediate. They are just trying to scam us to pay extra money for no reason, and give back our winnings. I am done with them ;(
They don't pay extra fees on bitcoin. They also had a paypal scam going on for a while. You could withdraw to paypal for a ridiculous fee. They will lose a lot of customers. Looks like we are really limited now.

I use to play at casinograndbay but they became rogue and took over a month to pay my last WD. I closed my account with them. But now all we have is a few RTG sites and then Bovada/Ignition and 3dice. We have nowhere else to play. At least I don't

Slots with non-paying symbols?!

I asked them how come the fees are so much higher than any other place, this was their reply:

Hi,

Thanks for your comments.

We do not actually charge any pay-out fees to our players when they make a withdrawal using Bitcoin. Unfortunately the Bitcoin processor exchange rate is high and can result in a fee of up to 10% when players make a withdrawal using this method.

Slots with non-paying symbols?!

YES non-paying symbols. I haven't played there in sometime now but one game I remember is Sand of Egypt. The Snake symbol on that game is the non paying symbol. I asked them about this, this was their reply:

On the other hand, please let me explain how the Vista Gaming slots work; please note that even though these machines have non-paying symbols, it is easier to win on these machines as the paying symbols do not need to be next to each other from left to right on the winning line but instead you win by having at least three paying symbols on a winning line and on any reel.

Now mind you, it is hard to get a full a payline of the paying symbols because the non-paying symbols show up more then the paying symbols.

Everyone thought I'd lost it not long ago when I melted down over how I felt some sites were treating players; this is a new, but prime example. Sucks.

I have exactly one group I "trust" right now to run fair numbers, and actually pay if you win. (Brango/extreme.)

I've deposited via card and played a tiny bit on Superior after noting KasinoKing rec's them... Managed today to hit a small cash out on a bonus-after-bust chip... The only wd option was btc, cool. But they require a $25 btc dep before I can wd... That is some old school rogue shit, imo.

Thanks for the heads up on v-crest. I haven't cashed out in a bit and guess I'm done there too.

Open to suggestions, but sheesh, it feels like late 90s/early 2000s all over again.

Do they offer other Crypto currencies? The fees for some are more than others. Litecoin (LTC) works best for me speed & fee -wise.

Where I play they don't charge a withdrawal fee but generally their exchange rate is lower than market value & so I'm assuming they're collecting their fees like credit card companies do with foreign transactions giving lower than market value exchange rates.

One other note about VG, not long ago a betsoft game, Legends of the Nile, disappeared. When it returned its very large (over 100k) jackpot was just gone. Not gone at other casinos, only at VG. So it's not a JP game there at all now.
