When I visit xxhttp://www.vegasskycasino.com from my Windows Explorer browser I am redirected to xxhttp://www.trafficboyz.com/. This does NOT happen in any other browser. I've also tried from another computer and it does the same, so I'm sure it's not a virus or malware on my system.

Anybody else having the same issue?

Seems to work fine for me.

It is possible that a "browser helper" has infected both your computers, and is hijacking such requests.

If it doesn't happen with a different browser, the problem appears to be local to the PC. If it were an external routing issue, it would happen from any browser on any computer connected to your internet connection.

You should run a full malware scan using at least 2 different products.

Useful free utilities are Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware, and Advanced System Care.

You can also try Malwarebytes free for 30 days.

I had a similar problem with Google redirects, which turned out to be a known virus. It was the Malwarebytes free 30 day trial that caught it.

are you trying to get to skyvegas.com??

xxhttpp://www.vegasskycasino.com is a new one on me and it wouldn't surprise me if trafficboyz are squatting on the domain looking for new business. It certainly doesn't sound like a legit brand.

I stand corrected, it is an online casino. I wonder how much Sky know about it as they are super-hot on anything close to their brand.

Fuzzy memory recall here.... but are 'Trafficboyz' not an affiliate group/site owned by marshmedia ?? Off to AGD I go for some research......

Rival

Vegas Sky is a Rival white label. Has the usual Silverstone/Bonne Chance ownership & Curacao license. In trying to investigate, I "googled" the name and found a review site. I was then INFECTED WITH MALWARE and was blocked from accessing Casinomeister, and everything else was slow. There was also a very strange process in Device Manager (which I killed).

It would seem that this attack happened at some point during my research.

Vegas Sky itself has no presence on Google in it's own right, but is being promoted by many affiliates.

I am now running a clean up, but I have THIS PC too, so can STILL vent about this, even though I can't paste the statement I lifted from the Vegas Sky site.

SKY should really go after this lot, as it is clearly creating confusion with SKY Vegas, and uses the "SKY" brand name, which I am sure SKY have registered as a trademark for "entertainment" services.

The Vegas Sky site does look dodgy from the home page as it has nothing about licensing shown there, no seals, no testing certificates, etc.

This redirect issue may be connected with the infection I received during the research, and may be part of the payload for the virus.

I just tried in IE and got redirected too, found this javascript code at the bottom of the source code

Code:
<script id="pap_x2s6df8d" src="http://www.trafficboyz.com/affiliate/scripts/clickjs.php" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
papTrack();
//-->
</script>

with a jump(); right at the end.

I am using IE, and found the same in source view, yet I am not getting redirected:confused:

Maybe it is not supposed to redirect, but is part of the affiliate tracking code, and the redirect is a malfunction peculiar to some versions of IE with specific settings enabled.

I have set mine to a higher than default security level, so maybe this is why I don't get redirected.

It does show that this is all Rival's doing, and that they are involved directly with Trafficboyz, which seems to have been called out as a scam on a number of websites after spamming a number of affiliates on their unpublished private email addresses, refusing to reveal from where they were obtained.

Although yes, they are a Rival white label, I don't think there is anything dodgy about them - they are one of the better Rivals IMHO.
I met the owner at LAC 2009 - just after they first launched - and he was a very straight-up guy. Since then I have heard very few problems relating to them, and certainly nothing serious.

I'm pretty sure if Sky Vegas were going to take any action against them over the name, they would have done that years ago!

Finally, I typed their URL into my ie and it worked normally.

i played there 2 or 3 times too at 2 or 3 years ago
when i made the withdrawal form there i was paid in the usually 5 days.
after that i did not play there anymore because i get bonus banned

1 withdraw that i made there ($500) = bonus banned
i didnt like it so i uninstalled

this also happened in other white labels, so i uninstalled all rival casinos except 1

So, why the Javascript code relating to Trafficboyz then:confused:

It seems many affiliate sites have Trafficboyz pegged as a scam because affiliates were not getting paid. The Trafficboyz rep also resorted to a "black hat" spamming campaign to recruit affiliates, and even spammed affiliate forums.

By assiciation Vegas Sky have become tainted.

Even worse is the malware aspect of their site design that is causing some users of IE to suffer redirects.

Trafficboyz has supposedly closed down, so if this is the case, why leave this code on their page. It has no benefit, but is creating problems.

It is possible SKY have not found out about them, not that they are OK with them using that name. They have simply swapped the order of the words in the SKY brand, so I can't see SKY being OK with this.
