VC Casino + Neteller issues? Also, William Hill weirdness.

(I'm aware that WH is not on the accredited list.)

Two issues came up for me recently and I'm looking for a bit of help. The first is a William Hill withdraw issue. After an attempted withdrawal from WH, I saw the transaction show on Neteller, but instead of the usual Accepted deposit by the merchant, it showed as Declined. Both WH and Neteller are passing the buck on this one, it appears.

The second issue is with VC Casino. Attempting to deposit there yielded only a broken error page after the usual neteller information. After doing a "normal" logout/login again, and trying again, I got the same error. My Neteller statement, naturally, shows that these transactions went through. VC Casino custserv says they're "looking into it" after "issues with Neteller."

I am now seeking assistance in resolving these issues.

Welcome to the forum!
You have come to the right place for help, though in this particular instance I personally don't have any answers, I'm sure others here will.

You didn't say what happened to your WH funds - did they go back into your WH account?

Also, can you confirm your location 'nowhere' is not in the USA?
(I can't find it on any maps!)

With regards to my location, I am indeed not in the States; I am in Canada.

My WH funds were not refunded back to my accoun there either. They are now lost in some limbo. :(

It's weird. Both WH and VC welcome Canadian players. I played @ WH days ago and won 21 bucks.

I had the same thing happen to me at Will Hill once but cannot recall what caused it. Phone them on +44 (0)870 600 0479 and ask to speak to the person in charge of banking if you haven't done so already. Surely, the problem is trivial and can hopefully be solved immediately.

Noble poker didn't allow me to create an account because it said I was from the states. IP is the problem.

lavalyn, are you using Bell Sympatico ADSL?

I'm using one of the many smaller DSL outfits in the Greater Toronto Area.

I don't think it's intentional, because frankly it's hard to make a computer behave like this *sometimes* without raising a stink by now on Casinomeister. But their customer service groups are quite slow.

One down, one to go

William Hill made the withdraw transaction again, and this time it succeeded. Talking to humans is so much more effective than going through email; thank you Swede for suggesting such.

Now to deal with the other casino.

You should be able to open an account with most iPoker poker rooms, if they cancel account or deny based on IP from the US, push the matter to some1 higher as they are capable of allowing the IP if you can prove you currently reside in Canada.

sorry for offtopic

In future if any of you guys have neteller deposits failing but the transaction leaving neteller, you should first contact neteller and get the transaction reference number. Telling the casino this often speeds things up greatly.

I think I read somewhere that when attempted withdrawls from casinos are declined by neteller, it is because the casino itself does not have enough money in their account to be able to pay the requested withdrawl.

Correct! and did it take me AGES to drag that admission from them!!! I had 9 MONTHS of BS and buck passing, but it transpired that while Neteller insist they CANNOT "decline" a payment into a player account from a merchant (casino), this is not completely true, as if the MERCHANT (casino) has NSF, Neteller will not credit the funds to the player, worse there is NO PROPER ERROR TRAP for this kind of incident, and records show the transaction as having gone through unless you LOOK PROPERLY (directed at you casinos, don't just pass the buck to Neteller via the player, check that the NT code is an accept code, not a decline code:mad:)
