US political crisis

I hear ya Geordie, I dont trust Trump, but its lovely seeing the lefties melt down !!

And Trump may stop the UK going into full on fascism!!
I agree. Its like watching a chess game. I love a lot of what Trumps team propose to offer but the proof is in the pudding. But Trump is not showing any degree of fairness in his humanitariesism or his claim to be anti war.
It is a reason that folk love politics but will not vote for anyone because they feel lost.
These next 6 months will provide plenty of intersest in politics for sure mate

Paedos don't deserve "acceptance" or "tolerance", they don't deserve to have their perverted whims catered for, they don't even deserve oxygen.

What they DO deserve though is being beaten to death....slowly.

VERY. FUCKING. SLOOOOOOOOWLY.

Only a libtard scholar could come out with the insane hot garbage that fucking reprehensible cunt just spewed.

She should be sectioned...immediately.

After watching this I did some searching and found his fathers name.

Which led to this. Rudakabana is not a common name in Rwanda.

The shit will hit the fan once this comes out.

as of right now, the world can thank USA (and soon Canada) For electing righties in. If it didnt happen I can promise you the liberals would slowly legalize pedophilia all over the world. No question about it.

Dr. Oz. The clown show of appointments continues. Trump is appointing his cabinet based on loyalty to him rather than the public and institutions. This is going to be a long 4 years creating terminal effects for decades plus. The sea of red are already turning on him except for those down the furthest rabbit holes. A country run mostly by comedians, frauds, and TV hosts seems to be theme here. Good luck US you're going to need it. Who could have seen this coming. Enjoy the snake oil. Too late to change the votes despite it being the most searched thing on election day in red states. Buyers remorse but no lemon law.

Yeah because this administration has been so much better. Issuing little kids puberty blockers, trans surgeries and an obese epidemic.

This is the current secretary of health in the USA. A transgender obese beast vs Dr oz who has a medical degree from harvard, founder of Cardiac Complementary Care Center and heart surgeon. Also, a professor at

'creating terminal effects for decades plus'

You make it sound like everything is perfect now, or would be if only they'd have voted for Kamala.

Dr OZ, according to his wiki, has been made a professor emeritus of cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University, what medical qualifications does the person currently in that role under Joe have?

😅

Anyone who followed the NK thread and Trump's 1st term in the early years will remember this guy, strange how he's back in circulation after hearing nothing from or about him in the last 6 yrs. 🤔

This guy talked a big game but hes another rhino!

Why are you two making this discussion bi partisan? Seems awfully rabid to go straight for the throat. Nothing I said in any of my post even related to democratic support. I'm neither a supporter of liberals nor conservatives. I support policy based on my knowledge of geopolitics and economics. Serve the people and public institutions not the Corporations or individuals. The magats are a terrible sect in this world as are the bleeding heart liberals.

As far as my comment re : decades of terminal effects, Trump's appointments are terrible almost across the board so far. The same people that voted for him a week ago are turning against him slowly already Do you know why? Because this is feudalism, it's how dictatorships run. Appointing those who are loyal to the individual in power rather than those who are most qualified seems like a funny joke right now because reality TV haha, but if his senate doesn't hold him accountable and nix some of these appointments/notions like project 2025 this will be one of the worst houses reigns you could ever imagine (I use reign purposely). This not about "owning the liberals" this is about the threat to democracy. Magats don't get that because they are educated by the likes of people like Tucker Carlson/Twitter/YouTube extremists. There is no knowledge of historical achievements nor precedence scattered throughout the decades and thus the willingly blind loyalty to a person rather than a policy.

People have no idea what they voted for. They just saw "muh economy" not understanding what tariffs are and not even understanding the impacts on inflation that a goal like project 2025 will have if successful. I'm not surprised that magats don't understand economical impacts, most barely have a high school education and even high school doesn't cover economics very well, but for the normal conservative folk I'm quite surprised. Now, it appears they are already regretting their decision to vote based on "owning the liberals" as they begin to identify what some of these policies and appointments are heading toward.

No offence intended, but we have been around the block here, from Russia gate to Blm and covid etc...sometimes you have to cut to the chase, rather than slowly getting to the nub.

I certainly don't think Trump will solve all issues and problems, but should have a fair crack at running things his way, if things aren't working or right now, then change is required rather than more of the same.

I've taken issue with the money mad and war mad republicans before, and I'd do it again.

But then you say 'normal conservatives', so perhaps we're definitely seeing things from a different angle.

When I say normal conservatives it's because I don't have a better term - moderate doesn't fit. I mean the conservatives that bleed red but in the name of policy that the RNC has been traditionally known for. Those are the types of people I can understand and side with on some policy. I cannot get behind extremists, on either side.

Trump/Maga:

Elon Musk. Probably the smartest man on the planet. (former democrat who voted Biden and Obama)
Tulsi Gabbard (former democrat, voted Biden and Obama)
Numerous doctors/surgeons across the board
Most police officers and fire fighters
Most of the military.
Astronauts, scientists and biologists

Can list probably a few million names to back the above up if needed. May take awhile to type out though!

Also, agenda 2025 is a conspiracy theory spread by youtubers

I think what we have here is a varying of opinions and it's not that trump supporters are low educated idiots.

Edited my post to shorten it up

IThe average person with little to no education on geopolitics/economics commenting on things they actually have no clue about except for what they watch on YouTube on Twitter hear from from fox news outcasts. Not talking about millionaires/billionaires who are so out of touch with reality it's by far in their best interest to vote for feudalism.

Agenda 2025? Are you confusing something else with Project 2025? Project 2025 isn't a conspiracy. It's a published plan wrapped up with Christian Nationalists extremist Republicans and is a very real thing and Trump and his lackies like Gaetz not only support but are ready to spearhead it. Being out of the loop is no excuse to be ignorant of what is actually going on in extremist states. In case you haven't been watching, the movement to remove the rights of women started a long time ago and is captured in Project 2025.

Trump's economy wasn't good or great in his first term - he made very few policy changes that would have a causal effect because anything he tried to do like introduce tariffs, et al were never passed. The stock market is not an indicator of economic health fyi, it's an indicator of sentiment .Speaking out of one side and saying the economy was great under Trump until COVID while blaming Biden for a poor economy rife with inflation that the entire world experienced is certainly a take.

The facts are these: tariffs will increase inflation. How? Importing countries pay tariffs. The US imports most consumer goods because the means of labour and production are much more efficient in countries like China that have mastered the manufacturing processes. Thus, it is cheaper for companies to purchase, import, re-sell than it is to establish plants, manufacturer the goods, and then sell them. Tariffs negate that advantage and the costs, as always, are passed down to consumers with an inflationary effect.

Don't even get me started on the plans for mass deportation. The inflationary effect this will have will be multiplied. Paying slave wages to TFWs keeps already looming food prices somewhat in check. Wait until the policy to deport these TFWs is instituted and see what happens to the cost of food.

These are actual facts backed based on precedence, theory, and historical relevance as well as economical processes that have been studied since the mid 1800s. Not hand waving bullshit that says Trump can and did this, this, and that with zero relevant facts except inflammatory bullshit such as "these are all arguments some left wing media hacks wrote and you are copying them". I don't watch, read, or even casually brief left wing or right wing media drivel. I think critically about things based on a combination of my education, experiences, and philosophies that are important.

Further, I'm not doomsday or whatever the fuck else inflammatory bullshit you want to say to me because you have some anger from reading shit on the Internet that you've been waiting to release on someone who you perceive as a threat to your idealistic view of Donald Trump. The dictatorship or feudalism government if you prefer, has a very specific instances and signals of how it begins. When I tell you that is what appears to be happening at the moment I say it very carefully and with an understanding that the appointments made can still easily be shot down by the RNC. Again, these are things that many conservatives, Trump voters themselves, are also saying. So you can hand wave away all you want with your lack of critical thinking and appeal to emotion and inflammatory comments utilized to discredit others, but it doesn't really change potential outcomes here if Trump gets his way.

This would be pretty interesting to see what type of waste there is and what type of cost cutting is taking place

I could only imagine the waste in Canada where we have to pay massive amount of money for these palestine protests all over the place where thousands of police have to stand around and attend.

Could have used all that money to fly all the immigrants out that trudeau has admitted was too many.

Trump really has ruined our lives, hasn't he. For whatever sins, transgressions and divisive rhetoric he may have had in the past, all of it's lead to Ellen DeGeneres relocating to England.

And we thought an impending nuclear apocalypse was bad. Just shows you to never get too comfortable! :eek2:

Trudeau will be out soon. I'll sure miss his costumized posturing with different segregated groups of people that really helps the cause. Surprised he hasn't transgendered and then taken part in women's sport yet. Really show the people.

Dr. Oz. The clown show of appointments continues. Trump is appointing his cabinet based on loyalty to him rather than the public and institutions. I am not very taken by the Dr Oz appointment. He is a member of the WEF, he promoted the pandemic and vaccines, promoted trans surgeries for children and human microchips. Has Trump promoted him to fail?
Maybe Trump has chosen to install those he can trust after being swayed into appointing people that let him down during his first term?
That was probably a result of him not being a career politican.

Just saying, like Trump himself, he seems to be appointing a lot of snake oil sellers/far right extremists. Dr. Oz, Matt Gaetz, RFK, Rubio. I don't like Elon, I think he's a very intelligent entrepreneur in a very limited techie space but is very out of touch with reality based on the job he's done with Twitter a very public platform. But oddly, I think that's his best appointment but Im not sure it's in a department that's really even useful. This just seems to be a cabinet aimed to be built to push forward the ideals of Christian Nationalists and protectionism. Basically as I suggested before, it seems to be appointing those who are loyal to the individual not the country. While I actually do think the US needs a reset in many ways as there have been far too many terms of both Reps & Dems that have sold out, I don't think Trump is that guy to move it forward. I would happily take being proven wrong but the steps he's taken so far don't instill confidence in me. I think a lot of Trump voters voted for the idea of Trump rather than the reality. "Owning the libs" is an overused cliche at this point but it appears much of the voting from the moderates and right wing non-extremists was done based at least partially on that sentiment

I get it, we're going through a very similar thing here in Canada with our useless PM who appears, by all rights, to be doing his best to bury this country for what it's known for and destroying it financially selling out to India but I don't think the other leader will be much better. Corporate whoring is unfortunately the only political outcome these days it appears

I think that Matt Gaetz was the only nomination that was not funded/endorsed by AIPAC.

It looks to me that all of Trumps nominations are either Jewish or are very favourable Isaeli backers.

So little different to the Democrats over the past 4 years.

Not bad for a people who make up only 2.4% of America's population and 0.2% of the worlds population

Not the greatest pick to begin with, for sure. Having a rampant sexual predator as Attorney General would have been rather bad optics.

Still, when one door closes, another one opens.

Perhaps it's fate, or perhaps it's just time for.....

Apologies to Armster, you were right Dr Oz is a dr snakeoil!

Ya this is another meh pick. Its way better than the shit bags in place but lil trumpy can do better. Id like to see someone from North Korea personally

I'm still awaiting these celebrities' leaving the U.S., many of which made a big song & dance about fulfilling that pledge.

Let's start with Barbara Streisand! 🙏

Trump really has ruined our lives, hasn't he. For whatever sins, transgressions and divisive rhetoric he may have had in the past, all of it's lead to Ellen DeGeneres relocating to England.

He already appointed the former WWE CEO as education secretary.
Throwing in some former Wrestlers in cabinet positions only makes sense after that move.

This is the sort of stuff that will keep the Dems out of office for a decade. Leaving Americans so deep in dept that their children will be paying for it for decades. Added to that the brinkmanship he is playing with the world after losing the election to hand on to His domestic enemy after his smily buddy meeting with Trump will stick in the craw.
The only reason that people don't take to the streets besides work, food, sports, gaming, their divices and tv is because they are scared of being accused or charged with being an extremist.
Just like folk in the UK feel.
Its almost as if the Dems are lashing out because all the tools they have used in the past have been exposed and they have no clue how to address it before the next election after their dodgy deeds are exposed by the incomming Republicans.
