Hey, guys. I've been gone for a bit, but I'm back. Am wondering how well (or poorly) US online gaming is faring? TruePoker was accepting US money for quite some time but now I see they aren't. Where can I find a fair game of Texas Holdem that I might be able to squish by Bank of America? Also I have recently stumbled upon one RTG that takes my money, but what do you think about FAIR gaming in this global economy? Thanks, and glad to be back... "Cas"

I would never, ever try to use a 'real' credit or debit card at a casino or poker room. What if they 'accidently' double dip and you're overdrawn or over your limit? Then your checking account is hit with fees, etc.

Read some of the posts... it's even 'iffy' transferring money directly from you bank account to QT.

Casinos are double dipping prepaid cards putting balances into the negative... money is later returned (or 'falls off') but you're stuck not being able to play till it does.

In a nutshell.... it's a freakin' mess.

credit/debit cards

i have never had a problem using pokerstars at all with instant e-checks. however when I foolishly used my creditcard on a major sportsbook 3 days later a mysterious 200 dollar charge came up. Now im not 100 percent sure it was the sportsbook but when i charged the small amout and my next charge is a bogus one, its suspect. pre-paid is the way to go.

Another angle, though

A couple things. 1) I guess I have been less concerned about fraudulence after I deposit and MORE concerned if I'll be able to deposit at all. 2) The fair gaming thing I said was more to ask if winning seems a whole lot harder to achieve with global business struggling. 3) But I really appreciate the heads up on what to watch out for. I haven't enjoyed land-based casinos for a long time. I NEVER win there. But online? Even RTG has its underwear on too tight, it seems.

Thanks, all.

I took a break back in November to watch how microgaming was going to act about stopping US signups and banning US players from progressives.

I have played several hundred dollars in Jackpot factory since Christmas and am very disappointed at the result. I lost my deposits in record time. I used to get mailers every month ( remember the jackpot factory lucky chip, lol) with small bonus's but they stopped. I PM'd the rep here (emma) but received no reply about whether they intended to pull out of the lucrative but scary US market and as to why the snail mail bonus's stopped. I do not want to keep depositing without a hint of a win or any information.

If your MG casino is paying and you are US great!

Does anyone wish to add to what I am experiencing with MG?

I find Inetbet and 3D to be as they always are, If you win they pay you promptly.

I recommend anyone from the US to pay close attention to these forums here at Bryans little corner of cyberland.

Well the only MG's I play at are Rich Reels and Villento, and Villento has been very kind to me this year. I have taken 3 small deposits this year ($40-$75) to $1000+ cashouts each.

RTG is what I am worried about. They know they have the US market by the balls, and their payouts show it. I have not had a cashout at an RTG casino since April 2008, and I have made about 75 deposits in that time frame.
