I definitely could I lost over 1000 on Thunderfist in 2012 on 15£ spins...I've never bet close since then. I did bet 7.50 a spin @ stars last year but balance allowed it. I'm terrified of betting big. Depends on if he is or not.

For those who are worrying i will lose it all, i don't drink so no chance of spinning away my life as i'm able to keep a balanced head.

I think i'm pretty safe documents wise as i deposit mostly from my bank account and they can see the source of wealth if they wish, i never reverse usually but don't know what possessed me( i think the 3 day pending period)

Out of the 200 i reversed, i had withdrawn 180 straight away n was just having fun for a day with 20 quid n kept going up n down (withdrew another 75) and left 20 again, at 34 quid i started this game and it was going well as i jumped to 64 in 67 spins n the jackpot was on the 68th spin

I will not be wasting the money as I know it would take me 5 years with 0 spending whatsoever to have this kind of money at 22 grand a year (less after taxes n ni), originally i had left a grand to enjoy slots but i didnt enjoy even doing 1 pound spins as i thought i would lose it so i withdrew another 750 n left 300 to do 20p spins. This is enough for a month for me

I couldn't agree more, i have never enjoyed losing 7.5 a spin and i dont think i ever will, at many times i got my balance over 1300-2600 previously but i still spun the same 0.27 on doa that i was doing to meet the wagering even though it took longer. So i'm content with 0.2p bets, only reason i was doing 0.4p bets on this slot was because i had made 2 withdrawals from my tenner of 180 and 75 so last 20 i thought i'd go crazy with 0.4p bets (that's as high as i go)

You bank is almost guaranteed to either freeze your account, the funds coming in, or want to speak to you, if 3 transactions all come in same time, all for over £10k. Easy enough to sort, a lot easier than casinos make it, but just thought I would make you aware in advance, in case you didn't know.

In UK its no big deal. Bank might question where money came from but soon as you prove to them then all is okay.

Your friend must have had other activity to make them suspicious, a number of things can trigger a ML check. Using your example for one, the whole conveyancing system would grind to a halt if it was commonplace, seeing as simultaneous completions mean much larger funds than that need to be mutually transacted in a matter of hours. I can tell you with certainty that 50k entering an account even in personal banking terms is nothing, the only thing that would "raise eyebrows" would be if someone came in and paid that in cash. I bet you anything the only contact the OP has from his Bank is perhaps a call from the branch Investment Adviser looking to do a bit business.
