This is something i see rarely - it's an official Google takedown from the UKGC requesting to get rid of certain websites that advertise illegal gambling. Ares Casino is not on the list, but MrSloty is, and they even chucked Bc.game on it lol...:

Years too late for many players but at least it's a start. The UK has finally woken up and realised that Google are the purveyors of numerous scam casinos and affiliate sites. Perhaps I should send the UKGC my list as there's many more...

The scam affiliate sites also pay google for the non-gamstop/UK keywords too. Which possibly explains the delays.

Hah.. for a £300 dinner voucher from the UKGC to a nice restaurant, i would clear the whole UK Serp for them .. lol. UKGC is blind with its selections. They requested a takedown for Casinogap, as well as a few similar aff sites whose authors are "Oxford graduates", and all sorts of "experts" and PhD.s, but missed out that on their sites alone are over 100 unlicensed casinos.

At least they are trying - it's a half empty list, and they should have done this years ago. But that said, at least they are tying to do something - but the core reason is NOT being addressed. Why are UK players playing there? You know the answer, I know the answer - and our forum has the answer :

Source of Wealth poll: How do the SOW requirements affect you?

That is what they need to address - and then ponder on what to do next. Requesting removal from Lord Google's paid for listings is like putting a bandaid on a sucking chest wound.

The need to tackle the source of the problem and it is clear as day that it is over-regulation. As long as that is happening, Joe player doesn't give a rat's ass on whether a casino is licenced by the UKGC or not, they just want to play - and they will find a way.

@Guntis I hope you don't mind me adding the domain names :D

Thanks for sharing, its a good start, hope we can spread the word and prevent anymore players being scammed. I hope Casinomeister can re-evaluate their high rating of BC.Game

I've noticed that UKGC recently has been active in requesting takedowns of affiliate websites promoting illegal gambling sites and casinos 'not on Gamstop' (casinos targeting UK players with gambling problems). Below are a couple of examples, but there are quite a few more. Not too sure whether it moves the needle, but still it's good to see UKGC trying to clear different garbage from google.co.uk.

Ahhh Google.:eek2: I know this is not so much gaming related but (Google are the purveyors of numerous scam) should put a foot down on all the phishing sites they allow that are stealing prepaid Visa & Mastercard info and then draining them dry. I don't know how many casinos even still allow players to fund accounts anymore.. Used to be quite common.

The sites are mostly still up, and the original request was posted in November, obviously not a priority for Google.

They're up because UKGC hasn't requested a domain takedown, but only selected pages. If the action was taken, usually the domain pages disappear and never rank for keywords they used to:

To complicate things for those non-gamstop casino promoters, UKGC could have also started getting them down via hosting providers. If it's a gov request you get an email from a hoster within 24 saying - block the country or otherwise we'll have to take you...

Playing devil's advocate, is Google censoring websites at the request of governments a good thing?

In this case, probably, although I see a couple of names on that list where some CM members play.

What's next? Aff sites? A block on Curacao?
How do we see the list? Have you got a link you can share? Went to the request but didn’t see the “attached excel spreadsheet”

Just type in Google anything like 'casino not on Gamstop' and then scroll down to the bottom. If you don't see a takedown notice, try similar queries like 'betting sites not on Gamstop'., etc. In case you find what you like enter your Gmail address to request full access. The access link may take some time to arrive.

For some of the sites listed absolutely yes it is right. A lot of these are blatant scammers and, to the uninitiated, 500% bonuses would sound like a great deal. There are some others that should be added it has to be said but it is a start. Some of these sites directly fund organised crime and terrorism.

I had already found the takedown notice but there was no attached spreadsheet. Nor is there anywhere to request full access by entering my email address (not that I’d want to anyway). I guess the list will have to remain a mystery to me.

I think Bandit is a different story, his site is forum-like and it does not rank on Google for any keywords like UK casinos not on Gamstop, crypto casinos UK, etc. Plus UKGC hasn't learned yet how to fight these things effectively. See this page, they have a whole list of different shit sites ready for UK problem gamblers, and at the same time 7 or 8 links pointing directly to UKGC's website :D

I would be happy for them just to banish Jimbo forever. One of these people you would just like to punch indefinitely.

In some removal complaints, you won't see additional URLs lists because there is none. If there is then it should be at the bottom like here:
