Just received a mail from them telling me "deposit and play 150 , we'll offer you MP3 sunglasses. "

Never heard of them, going to their website, checking Deuces Wild paytable ... 1/3/5/10/12/25/50/100/300/500 - making a return % of 204.79

And they says they're regulated in Malta .. uh ?

Anyone has heard of them - but this seems quite roguish ...

What software is this?

Paytables over 100% usually indicate non-random "cheating" software, although you should also double check your calculations.

If they are in any way "funny", they are unlikely to be regulated in Malta (though Malta have spectacularly failed to impress in this field, so you just never know......)

Uh, so it seems free play is royally rigged (strangely doesn't work on my computer).

They say on their website

UBWinner has a Letter Of Intent "Class 1 on 4" released by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta (LGA) n. LGA/CL1/420/2007 of jan 18th 2008
(Logiciel vers. 1.2.3)

They're not listed on LGA's website ...

Second Sentence :
Casino is operated by GAMBLING MALTA LTD

On the LGA Website Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)
Gambling Malta Limited

So they do have a Malta License and are listed on the LGA Website..

A lot of these casinos really don't help themselves. They want a catchy name that people are going to remember - think 32red, 3dice, 888 etc etc - but the name can cause concerns. As it does for me, in this instance.

A quick scout of the rogue list brings up other stupid name casinos:

games4money
ministeringangel
winner333
inchilli

And so forth. So 'ubwinner' seems to fit nicely in. It could turn out there's nothing wrong with them. A while back here in the UK, we had a number of cringeworthy adverts appear on all the Sky channels noone visits for a company called injurylawyers4u. Sounds utterly horrid. When you have an injury and want compensation, do you really want a company spelt with 'text talk' to represent you? Of course not. But it turns out they are actually pretty good, so appearances can be deceiving.

But I'm not sure in this case. The echos from the live dealers just give me a vision of them operating out of an empty warehouse. Have a listen if you haven't already. At the least, it's not particularly professional.

The software they use is Medialive Casino. They were at ICE this year, did anyone see their stand?

And here is a screenshot of the Deuces Wild. Who do they think they are fooling?

Edit: They also have another casino called Casino Klass (where they offer a game called Caraibbean Poker).

This paytable gives 208% return with optimal strategy. JoB has 223% return. The two possible explanations are that the cards are not dealt fairly, or the casino won't pay winners. Since it claims to be based and licensed in Malta, I would be interested to hear the Maltese licensing authorities' view on this matter.

Something is just not right with this site. Slot player here and so far every spin in free mode is bonus or free spins. Im up 7000euros on the smallest bets going.
I take it this way with the way they set the games you figure if you deposit its going to hit just the same HA.

If this turns out to be true, it would be utterly shocking. The VP paytables alone make it clear this is "cheating software", irrespective of whether demo mode is enhanced or not.

A "letter of intent" is not full licencing, however, this is what GoWild casino had (and may still have now) when they launched. This is making Malta look WORSE than Kahnawake, a point rammed home by their display of inadequacy over the Interwetten affair. Malta? - might as well be Costa Rica for all the protection it offers.

I am now wondering whether Malta ever had any intent to offer proper regulation and enforcement, or whether they saw a means to make a quick buck by offering a bolthole within the EU for casinos fleeing Kahnawake and others because they were frozen out of the UK whitelist. Malta have not EARNED their place on the UK whitelist, they got it automatically due to EU trade laws.
