I will agree with the tax on items thing. It left me somewhat bamboozled trying to pay for a can of Pepsi, proudly handing over the exact amount of change to the shopkeeper

That's of course before she turned away and started hammering the calculator and out came the 'new' amount

I'd like to think she let me off, with my revised nostalgia, chances are I probably had to walk back to get the extra 50c

Why anywayS ?

Northern Irelands food delicacy, Vegetable Roll, may confuse some: mainly cos it's made from Beef/Pork but seems to have escaped the wrath of the advertising standard agency.

There's also a 24hr Tesco store that, er, closes at 10pm.
