WTF had this brilliant idea???

- The reels opening up now immediately, no more suspense if you gonna get 3, 4 or 5 reels linked.
- Takes ages to start a new spin after a win
- Reels not turning when changing tabs, e.g. i can't browse on CM and have the slot running on AP
- ....List not complete

Why would somebody decide to make something worse than it was before??? :(

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
Noticed it the other day at Videoslots and dont like it at all. I love my good ol' TwinSpin but this update is horrible.

Just tried on VS on Freeplay.

I hate it with not being able to change graphic settings on the new NET ENT slots.

It did do the replicating reels the same as the older version though

Yes, but it is opening the linked reels with no delay, you know almost immediately if you going to have 2,3,4 or 5 reels linked. The whole suspension is gone.

It did the little delay on mine to link the 3rd reel.

Or do you mean, if you get more than it just does them all at the same time.

I just played it on Free Play on there and it seems to still do the linking of the reels one by one for me.

The two main differences I can see are:

Getting a BIG WIN seems to count much more slowly and in a more steady fashion (older version always used to get quicker and quicker counting I found)

Much faster and smoother. Pressing Spin will immediately generate the two linked reels, the standard Twin Spin pauses occur thereafter.

Seems much more speeded up to me tbh. Reels spin super smoothly.

I'm now safe in the knowledge that the game I never play is now gimped up to look better. What is designers' obsession with updating the graphics??

It's not like we're playing these games on a Vic-20 and have to load them with a cassette. As long as the original animation on the symbols and general artwork is fine, why tamper with it?

Lame :(

I cant really see any big difference lol...... though seems to be right hot at casumo right now playing with my free bonus money and keeps spitting out big wins LOL

I'm glad you said this - I played it and thought 'what the f*ck's up with this, it's shit?'.
I though I was playing a bent fake game at first. So it is the HD version! Well they can piss off, I can't stand it.

If you hate changes like this, the start crying...

More or less all game providers will update their desktop games from Flash to HTML5, and then a few changes will be made, an example is that they will re-release the games in 16:9 (HD) instead of 4:3.

From what I've heard it's way harder to code and get smooth animations and graphics in HTML5 compared to Flash, so don't expect the re-wamped games to have better quality :(

Since most browsers won't support Flash in the future, this is a change that must be done. Some older popular games will be updated, while other games will most likely just be removed when the time is there.

We could do with proper download suites that don't use a browser at all to play, but a proper game engine. Won't happen though, and we'll keep getting rough html5 releases.
