BITTER DISAPPOINTMENT! They could have done so much better, a 6-reeler, more volatile etc. but we get this lazily-made piece of garbage instead! I was SO excited to hear about this and all I got was a half-assed rehash of Aloha Cluster Pays and the original Twin Spin. Wait until I see you in Berlin Or London Mr. Hamman!! I think we need to discuss what makes a good slot.

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
This is a huge opportunity missed by NetEnt to make something that would of competed with the volatility of Bonanaza.

The problem here is they keep aiming their games at passive gamblers instead of hardcore players.

I feel your pain Dunover.

Well, that is some BS from Netent.

Now they clone, copy and combine old slots into a "DELUXE" version. They will release Shangri-La on 23rd September 2017, which is a total copy of Aloha! and now another drivel.

And I will have to write a review about it. What good can you write about a slot like this?

I dunno, but I've got to find 300 words soon.....

Well unlike some i was never a fan of Twin Spin, sorry Dunover but i usually fast forward the videos were you play them
but this sure looks like utter crap as i most suddenly wasnt fan of Aloha Cluster :)

Urghh

What's Netent's fascination with Aloha? Do they honestly believe that's a popular slot that seasoned slotters will embrace with open arms?

I'd rather have had Starburst mixed with Scarface than this

They will know from their figures what games do well... My guess is this is done based on what they know their players prefer. Although it looks garbage

You'd have thought deluxe would mean. "make better" not "make totally different and worse"

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. They have missed a great opportunity here and released a clone pile of crap.

*Added to my list of slots to avoid*

They can't have very good market researchers or feedback from....anyone, if that's what they think their userbase wants.

Shiny twinkling stars and even sticky wilds - yes, Alohada Bollocks- not so much.

That's assuming they haven't ensnared the under-16 demographic more than we thought. They'll play anything that looks made for CBBC

I look forward to Dunover playing this for real in the coming months with a bucket load of swearing

You've more chance of seeing me rogering Winnie Mandela on a bouncy castle in Mongolia. :eek2:

They don't need market research in that respect... They run their own casinos and will know which games are popular. From a business point of view if Aloha and Twin Spin both do well it makes sense to merge the too... What doesn't make sense to me is to put a Twin Spin brand on it as it isn't really an N+1 of Twin Spin... I would have not risked ruining that brand but I'm not at NetEnt :)

Dunover - You even made me disappointed at how disappointed you were!

I agree 100% - Pile of Trash from NetBent. They make sure they push out slots that you cannot win big on. They seem to be scared of volatility. Would have been super amazing to see a 6 reeler.

Even the SMALL companies are brave enough to dish out some volatility. They are losing market share I assure you. A lot of my sessions have migrated to other providers as a direct result of NetBents inability to do something that is not flashy and has a worthwhile paytable. These guys should be ashamed at how bad they have become.

100% this is the case. Netent are selling what the casinos are asking for, which is non bonus beating bonus rounds and low volatility.

I put this to one of the casino owners on here a while ago and they answered "it makes no odds to us as the house always gets back the edge from other players".

I still call bullshit on this.

What we used to have:

Im a casino and my income is governed by deposits and withdrawals. Nothing more nothing less.

I have 50,000 active players.

High volatile game - 50 players hit a 1000x stake win and can meet wagering and withdraw comfortably. They may then spend their winnings at other casinos/elsewehre, but that money's left the building.

What we have now:

Low-mid variance game:

10 players hit 1000x
200 players hit 200x

This time only 10 players withdraw. The other 200 are not incentivised to withdraw due to the win size and are also bound by possible wagering requirements.

The rtp is the same for the game still. But in the seond scenario ive only had 10 withdraws not 50. The other 40 a handful may withdraw a lesser amount but mostly they will lose their deposit. Ive just retained 5 times as much money for my casino.

THIS is the reason why the volatilty has been tampered with for the HTML5 reskins and why we keep getting shite releases like this from the likes of MG and Netent.

I really don't understand why Netent hesitates to make simply twin spin slot in which all symbols can get full screen...They could decrease a bit values of diamonds/bells...man could think they are scared of big wins...?

They've been scared of players getting big wins since about 2013
