I'm and old retired rigger/jouno of very little noteriety but have noticed some posters here are pretty astute with the written word.
I used a typewriter until 1995 because I was sure the computer faze, just like disco music would fade away in time. Maybe I got that a little wrong and as much as I hate to admit it, word processing makes the job way too easy!
Anyway apart from having a flutter on the one cent roulette table I also dabble in writing for a few sites who actually pay you for written content.
My question is have any of you guys thought of trying to sell your writing skills? You don't have to be a journalist, just have a good grasp of the English language and a fertile imagination.
Have a 'google' session and you will be amazed at how many sites there are out there in ciberland. Just be sure you aren't conned by the ones who want you to pay them! The good ones are free to join.
Can't tell you which ones I use as I'm relatively new to the scene and don't want to lose a job to a better writer (of which there are plenty on this site.)
