Just like black people was mad as frogs and abused back 100 years ago just like gay people was mad as frogs and needed "help" Medication 50 years ago. Times move on thing change deal with it . Sorry to say this isnt going to go away. in next 50 years trans people will be perfectly normal to 90% of people.

Ask yourself how does one's sexual orientation or preferred gender affect YOU personally? It doesn't. They're not doing anything harmful or illegal so what's the big deal? The big deal only exists in your head.

100% Spot on, How if bob wants to change hes sex to be Mary thats THERE business, how people get so angry and upset over things that does not concern them OR effect them I will never know, Some people just leave sad lifes and have to put others down with there outdated views cause they got nothing better to do.

Do 'some' (and fine, let's grant 'many') trans' people suffer mental illness and suicidal tendencies? Sure, so do gay men and women, poor people, whilte collar heterosexuals and anyone on the fucking planet.
If I was constantly told to coform and fit a societal mold contrary to what my body and mind were telling me, I'd have serious issues too. If accepting societal norm as dictated by the white/male/hetero/majority were the metric we should follow, blacks, gays and women would STILL be second class citizens (and im quite sure, there's sadly enough people would still have that as well)
'Trans' isnt new. 'Gay' isn't new. What is new is open discussions...but a changing cultural climate also isnt new either. And the western perpective on what is or isnt beased on CULTURE, by definition isn't universal.

And again, sex and gender are not synonymous. Gender has NEVER been static; it's a culutral or self identity and that has ALWAYS changed and most certainly, have NEVER been universal.

I wish I were around in a few generations when those in the comfortable majority suddently realize they no longer are.

I'm fairly certain referring to an entire class of people as mad and mentally ill, is considered at minimum, by nearly most everyone's standard of decorum, as rude...at minimum!

which medical studies? you can't even differentiate between gender and sex which EVERY reputable scientist, medical practitioner, sociologist, ad nauseum, agree are not synonymous.

Gender dysmorphia.
Sorry I think it should be classified what it is. A mental illness, don’t want it pushing on my child as normality as it’s certainly not and is going someways to destroying traditional values in which the western world was built on.
It’s not normal and never will be, my view and my opinion.
Sorry of people needed a safe space for my comments.

the list can be exhausting, and arguably silly

in its most basic terms (and granted, terminilogy isnt universal)
sex: the biological charactersistics (ie male, female)
gender: how one choose to identify, honestly, it's sometimes not really even worth learning the list beyond any personal wish for education, as it's personal to any given individual
but generally male/female (then the assorted non-binary)
orientation: identity for/state of one whom is sexually attracted to

*shrugs - just simply accept people are different and if you care enough, use one's prefeered pronouns when addressing them because well, it's simply courteous,; everything else is irrelevant if you arent dating/sleeping with someone or care to know for better understanding them

well and gender isnt necessarily tied into sexuality
ex a cigender male* (one who's gender identity corresponds with their birth sex -ie you're born male and identify as male)) could be either gay or straight (or other)

*opposite of transgender

but on the other, it really isn't at all, because if it doesnt directly affect you (you general, not you specific) its really all very simple. :)

To my immediate friends and family it might all become rather complicated, especially if you're making me food..am I vegan? Pescatarian? How PRECISELY do you identity. Do you have food allergies? Medical concerns? Is it preference? Personal?

Otherwise, who gives a fuck, right? It in no way impacts your life. Doesnt matter if youre vegetarian, or your neighbour, or brother or sister or your kid.

...nonsexual never heard of one before but if heard then never paid much attention to it. But I know what asexual means (person who has no sexual feelings to anyone).

Ok...I'm going to read something on a different subject before I go to bed, otherwise all these homosexuals, transsexuals and bisexuals will come to my dreams tonight...:D

I actually thought there was a gap in the market for “bears that don’t give a damn” or “ bears with attitude” after all if we are embracing diversity we don’t want exclude all the little horrors do we and have their parents buying them toys they can’t identify with.
