Ok I'm seriously impressed.

Some of you may have noticed my nice run at ToteSport (Playtech) over the weekend. I signed up Saturday to "test drive" it, had a couple of glorious slot hits (and a nice Keno one actually - 7 from 9 numbers) withdrew around £5,000 on Saturday and another £1,500 on Sunday evening and both lots were in my Bank account (not Neteller but my actual bank account!) on Monday night!!

I mean I know they are a company with a long sportsbetting history in the UK, but still, no ID checks, no hanging around for a reverse period, no hassle at all. :p

By way of info, US peeps can't play there, and they only take credit and debit cards, but they have their own banking system so you don't have that awful Playtech 96 hour default reverse time in there. Actually there is a bug in their banking system that means you have to cashin via the website at the moment, but I'll let them know...and their banking system is a bit confusing the first time you cashout I guess. But do you see me complaining? ;)

Lovely jubbly :D

Yep, Tote and Bet365 (UK sportsbooks) are the only Playtechs I'd feel comfortable playing with. With the general malaise in the industry it's worth pointing out it looks a lot better if you're living in the UK. There are far more reputable, big-name companies to choose from.

Of course the no ID checks probably isn't true. There simply weren't any antiquated requests for scans when most data can be verified quickly and automatically (for some reason this is a bit of a bugbear for me at the moment  )

Thats a very good point actually. The safety factor of the big sportsbet companies definately provides a solid foundation that is perhaps lacking overseas. Guess it'll be the same when the big B&M's come online too.

Yeah, I noticed that. Ritz Club and Victor Chandler are a couple of others I'd like to try, if they accepted Americans. These casinos are actually located in the UK, right?

For tax purposes they're registered in Alderney (a British island in the English Channel just off France) and Gibraltar, respectively, but they're both companies with a long history (and presence) on the "mainland", not your usual fly-by-night on-line casino operators. In fact if you go to the sites you can actually find out things about them  (p.s. I know 32Red also gives details!)

Totesport are the only ones whom I can think of, that consistently act in a rogue behaviour, showing utterly no respect for their customers, and quite willing to screw them out of their bonuses, in a rude & arrogant manner which very much grates - and to which I have the emails to back it up, right upto Supervisor level, and to which I've read of other nasty experiences endured by players with them, in other forums. Avoid - there are hundreds of other playtechs out there.

Admin note - bumping threads

Please don't bump up threads that are over a year old. You are not really adding anything to the conversation because it's over and done with.

What you have is a complaint. Please post complaints in the proper section. Thanks!

Apologies -I just searched for 'totesport' and was first one with thread title.

In the interest of fairness - I have no probs with their sportsbook/instant games division, & is recommended by me (not that I'm Egon Ronay or anything). I

Is it not possible to have threads that have not received a new post for, say, 6 months to be automatically locked with an automated post explaining the lock is due to it being too old to be bumped up.
This would be the perfect task for Vortran when he has a spare moment & doesn't need recharging:D

Like others, because it is so old, I tend to think it is new and I have somehow missed it earlier. I then read the whole thread and relate it to the present unless I spot the year, or admonition from Bryan for bumping up the thread.

This also shows how much damage rude and arrogant support staff can do to an operation. This player has suffered this, and completely "ruined" a thread singing the praises of this particular site.

Some British high street names can have the most AWFUL customer support, so there is no reason the sportbooks would be any different.
Submitting a complaint (PAB) including the E-mails will allow this rudeness to be addressed at a higher level even than "supervisor", which despite it's important sounding description, is just another bod in the call centre. A PAB can insert the complaint into the organisation at management level, as can contacting the rep. (Controlled) Venting of one's spleen first does help calm the anger, but only if followed up by a proper complaint.
Often such rude CS stems from them having "information" that you are not a "genuine" player, but out to exploit them. Rather than tell you straight out, some casinos will mess you around, and will see complaints about bonuses as further proof that you are just out to exploit them, and persistence will be met with rudeness in the hope you will "just go away".

Hi Tristan, I work for totesport and work closely with the casino manager. If you would like me to look into anything for you, i don't mind, just drop me a PM :)

Simmo! The thread went sideways a bit but I want to congratulate you on finding a place you like to play that is on the up & up. I am happy to see your great winning streak. WTG!

That's a good idea! I'll see if something like this can be implemented.

Cheers Shaun - I think the problem at my end, was that this was while back the issue - when was a bit unwise to dealing with people like yourself first, when a dispute failed at supervisor/mgmt. level - which I'd thought was the end of the matter once they determined & reviewed an issue. For 25, it wasn't worth doing a PAB - as my only other PAB here was quite a nightmare to get resolved, I'm sure many here will recall. Have PM'd you the details - which now my memory is refreshed by going through the archives, can state here my beef is due to losing 50 on a slot promo in December (having wagered 365 when the requirement was only 250), and not getting the 25 bonus as was officially bonus-banned, 10 days later on Jan 8th. I replied back saying you can't/shouldn't apply it retrospectively, but they did anyways.

I have read elsewhere on the web, around the time, of many other people not being informed by Tote of being bonus-banned, until after they had noticed a bonus not being credited & complained- so it isn't, to me, a 25 issue - but a bigger problem I would like to know what the current policy is regarding.
