Hi Bryan,

Hope this is the right spot for this?

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

A new casino, however on the front page it is displaying the OPA logo; instead of it being blue its red & to be honest looks like it is a hack job.

Also the the Inernet Gaming Commisiion banner is there, however can not find the site listed on their database?
That is weird.

May be backingup the wrong tree and everything maybe legit, however from here it looks very suss.

Regards

Joel

Playtech.

And as you are probably aware, the OPA sold out to Playtech a while ago.

the Internet Gaming Commission logo doesn't mean a thing. They are another do-nothing site like Safebet. If you couldn't find them on the Internet Gaming Commission site merely indicates a lack of updates.

Same group as Club Dice.

I don't think the OPA logo is suss - rather, Mike Craig just changed the colors. But then there's the question of the perceived value of the OPA logo... somewhere around zilch.

Hi guys,

Just looked a bit dodgy IMO, guess better to be safe than sorry, huh!

As far as the OPA cred goes, as always both are on target ;)

Take it easy

Joel

Club Dice is totally reputable in my book. I hit 3 royal flushes there in less than a week on aces & faces and w/d $3000 overall. They had the money in my neteller account after 4 days, just like they say in their rules. And no b.s. or hoops to jump thru to get it either. Plus they offer great surprise bonuses too.

jpm,

Just out of interest how long ago was that?
I've heard rumours that some Playtech casino's now require ID faxed to them, before payments are issued.

Joel

This was literally about a week ago. No more than 2 weeks. I think my last withdrawl just went into neteller today.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did request an ID faxed to them though, pretty much all the casinos are doing that now, not just playtechs. Why they all want a picture ID is beyond me though! Not like we're ever going to meet, lol.

jpm,

WTG, I never seem to have any luck @ playtech casino's, MG are my favorites ;)

Mybe the myster can clear this up, why the photo ID?
Is it because it harder to fake up than a utility bill?

I worked as a credit card underwriter many years ago and I think I can explain, "Why the picture ID is required". In the situation where the consumer does a charge back on the original deposit amount the Casino (because it did not actually swipe the card) must prove that the consumer legitimately made the purchase (the original deposit). The norm to meet this requirement is to have in its possession the ID number from a piece of identification that contains a photo of the consumer. A divers license is the most common piece of ID that fills this requirement. How ever, a military ID, or a State Issued ID card, even a Student ID (which has a photo of the consumer on it) would fill the requirements of the banks to prove the original credit card sale was made by the consumer.

It is simply used by the Casino's to protect themselves from the consumer charging back the deposit.

Thanks glodge! I am still in a bit of shock after those wins. I couldn't believe it when I hit the 3rd one. Seems like my luck is the opposite of yours, I usually don't do well at MG but have done well at the Playtechs. Understandably, those are my favorites now!

Thanks for that explaination Time, I always wondered about the photo ID thing myself.
