Siti Nadia Tarmizi, spokeswoman for Indonesia’s Covid-19 vaccination programme, said the claim that Covid-19 vaccines could cause erectile dysfunction was a “hoax”.

“From clinical trials, it did not show any side effects because these vaccines do not affect the genitals,” she told AFP in a WhatsApp conversation on April 12, 2021.

“We also know that most of the causes of impotence are psychological problems, rather than organ problems.”

Saw a picture the other day that supposedly was of the mayor of some town (think it was memphis)
Anyway, he had said 'Dont worry, theres enough gas for everyone' but the picture was of him filling up 10+ of these and loading it into his truck.

Something tells me that if everyone went ahead and did the same thing, suddenly there wouldnt be enough gas for everyone anymore.

Yet America has wells of stocked up gas that was capable of keeping them going in all regions for months so I am led to believe by many Americas in another forum.
I suspect that once gas prices have reached where they want it to be supplies will be restored but the prices will remain high

They should try filling up at a Swedish gas station.
I think we pay about double what they do.

I guess its easier to create a panic over shortage in USA due to the large distances involved in many states.
For many people, not having a car is simply not an option.

Jubilee Line attack witness feared he would be ‘hacked to death underground’​


The witness, who did not want to be named, said: “All of a sudden there was a huge commotion.

“A man stood in the middle of the carriage and brandished a foot-long black machete.

“People started screaming, there was a stampede to the front carriage – people got trampled on and pushed into the plastic and stuff”.

The witness said he moved into the next carriage away from the attacker, adding that the victim had a wound on his head which he described as “a deep gash meaning the side of his head was hanging off”.

He added that the driver was unaware of anything happening for 10 minutes because the intercom was not working, and passengers were left defenceless on the moving Tube as the attacker “taunted” them.

“The attacker went back down the train. We heard screaming but we don’t know what happened,” he said.

“He then came back and stood at the opposite end of the carriage taunting us and making out he was going to break down the door of the carriage.

“It was completely and utterly terrifying. For about 10 minutes I genuinely thought I would be hacked to death underground.

“However, people showed compassion and care to each other – people held other’s hands, and a teenage boy saved his mum from being trampled”.

Saw that last night, absolutely pathetic. Luckily theres people looking for him, so see how hard an MMA fighter he is when it's not a young lass half his size he's got to fight, the fucking dick. Seems to be a bit of a nonce too judging from his previous videos, meeting young teenage lasses in a park, and his current gf seems to be 17, roughly half his age. Oh what fun that will be for him when he's in jail and people find out.
Sad thing is, the lass will most likely get sacked from Asda for fighting back when the lass hit her, I hope, if they do, there is a massive backlash against them.

Was that the walmart policy, I thought they were bought out by two asian guys last year, I think if so they'll be smart enough to know where the public sentiment is. Generally speaking it could be a sound policy, otherwise the beefy security guard might end up doing damage to the drugged up shoplifters who resist arrest, and asda get sued for excessive force I guess?

I have already read all kinds of silly theories but I would not be surprised if it has something to do with a Country targeting those sites as a show of muscle or something

BBC: Financier Amanda Staveley, who fronted the consortium, said the new owners are making a "long-term investment" to ensure Newcastle are "regularly competing for major trophies".

Newcastle's last major domestic trophy was the 1955 FA Cup. (think the beeb were taking the piss adding that)

Great news. Given the strict rules on spending I would guess that it will take a few years before we have a team that is capable of fighting for the top honours.
And Ashleigh actually saved the club to be honest. We never showed him any respect so he though feck you to us years ago and took what he could. IMO

I think he never quite 'went for it' with freeing up transfer funds, and so years of mediocrity followed after Pardew's departure, likely because Ashley's too business-minded, and wouldn't get his head around spending millions to see negligible returns, or most likely, losses.

Best way forward now is for the new owners to hire Keegan as trainer, and Gazza as manager. First player to score 20 goals a season gets a pair of plastic tits :eek:

My take on it was that we where left very heavily in dept before he bought the club and that his first years where used in balancing the books. In that he was quite successful. But the supporters had already wanted him out by the stage that was done. Granted he made sure he was stll taking a cut while doing so.
Once you have been shown the two fingers how would you feel about having to hang around for years?
He could have taken his losses by selling out years ago. But he sold to a corp that would improve the clubs future.
The guy was way too vilified I think.
 
Yippee! Another murderous regime and money laundering organisation takes over a Premier League Football Club. The game is disappearing as an interest to me nowadays and I say this as a supporter of one of the most successful football teams in history,Liverpool. Fit and proper? The Premier League don't even understand what the words mean.
 
Foreign ownership of English clubs has impacted the game, unquestionably. One could argue without it, the likes of Chelsea and Man City would be scrapping for mid-table bragging rights, and the league may never have seen some of the greatest footballers of the last two decades.

More than likely we'd still see Sam Allardyce & co showcase their '19th- century football' using humdrum English players, or Tony Pulis instructing his motley crew of journeymen to leave a mark on their opponent - and that's just for the throw-ins!

Downside of course is that many of the overseas investors have no real affinity towards the history of the clubs they're buying, and see them as an extension to their other franchise teams, like NHL ones and so forth.

With some of the Chinese business owners you suspect that they completely do not grasp the 'culture' of the clubs they're inheriting, and seemingly look to run the clubs dry and then sell on for a profit.

In the case of Arab ownership, like say PSG, all commercial interests seem to have flown out of the window, whereby they simply see their clubs as a plaything, without a hint of business acumen. PSG's wage bill has to be around 4-5 million Euros per week at least, Man City or Chelsea's can't be far behind :eek:

So really, it's both a positive and negative thing for the EPL

Its positive for the PL in terms of financial gain,as for any semblance of ethics,that boat sailed at the formation of the Premier League in 1992/93. I did have a chuckle at the Premier League and their fake attempt at ethics when the top teams hinted at starting a European Super League given that this was exactly the way they were formed themselves.
I think you make a fair point about foreign managers,players and coaches enhancing the PL and preventing the likes of Pulis and Allardyce's brands of football being a regular,but then again you could also argue that they still get jobs and apply that awful brand of football because the teams they are appointed to are just trying to stay in the PL due to it's financial rewards and simply getting more points than three other teams guarantees that and those types of managers often know just about how to do that. There are only ever three or four teams that can win the PL every season and everybody else is just trying to finish as high as possible given the prize money per League position is around £1 million(maybe more or slightly less) per finishing place. This has effectively turned the PL into a League subdivided into three or four leagues in itself. The rewards are massive from not just finishing position but also tv appearances,sponsorship deals and many other hidden benefits. It's a far cry from the game I used to know and love starting in the 1960s and continuing through the 70s/80s and the start of it's 1990s demise until it's modern day bastardisation of 'The Beautiful Game.' That beauty has morphed into a very ugly duckling for me.
