"The Sopranos" slot at Betfred

I see that "The Sopranos" from Playtech has been released at Betfred. Anyone tried it yet ?

Love the Sopranos, have been watching the re-runs on Foxtel of late. As for the slot, I played earlier on tonight at Betfred, they are offering 30% back on any losses.

The slot has a number of features and kept me well entertained though I will be getting a cashback having no great win to report. Similar to Thurderstruck at MG, there are a number of levels in the free games but you start at the lowest and work your way up once you achieve the free games on each level 3 times.

Funny there was a family member missing which really stood out - that being Sil. And I wish Pauly had of gotten rid of those hideous grey sides lol.

Looks like an interesting slot - but seems to be minimum bet $5, why do the game developers do that? Just makes no sense.

I played it extensively this week (made a video with each of the features Old / Expired Link if you want to see them). I quite like the way it's put together but like most branded slots it's aimed at the masses so it's too low variance to be one I play.

The random Raid Bonus is just annoying after a while - 8x max win and you can't skip it. The two other pick 'em features tend to award 20-30x and the free spin feature is the only interesting one - as cass1071 points out, you have to unlock 3 of the 4 options like in TS2/IR - but even there, 100x is a huge result.

Should appeal to fans/low rollers and entertainment players though IMO.

Check out the John Wayne slot while you are there by the way - way better.

It happened last with new slots and it took them weeks to lower the min bet. Ridiculous. It can't be that hard.

Just checked the min bets for The Sopranos and the minimum bets should vary between 0.50 and 0.25 between the major currencies. I does default to £2.50 and $5 but it should be changeable. If you're not experiencing this then please PM me your username so I can check other configurations at account level - we will fix it.

Nice Video Simon - I echo others - Just too many features become annoying after a while - I would have rather concentrated the payout into one free spin feature.

Interesting stuff, Nishi. Dragon Kingdom and Daring Dave definitely seem to have more appeal to our more experienced slot players. Looks like the bigger brands aren't providing lasting entertainment, though I quite like John Wayne - feels like the game has been built for the brand, rather than trying to squeeze the theme into an existing game engine.

That's a decent slot. I hit 650x making the video for that one. The new Marilyn Monroe is like a watered-down Great Blue too. Didn't like the theme but the free spin feature can be good (sometimes!) obvously with stacked wilds.

Ah the Ranch Bonus is the key to John Wayne The slot is loosely based on Gladiator's engine. Extra scatters and wilds, multipliers etc.
