The Mystery of Nifty

In order to understand Nifty you have to understand logics. Like a few members here, at first when I met Nifty. I was like who the "Hell" does he think he is. But after going thru and reading some of his posts. I must say Nifty uses a lot of common sense and logics in his thinking. He is direct and truthful. Though it maybe hurtful at times. He calls it the way he sees it. Being in "TRUTH" mostly when he says it. Most cases he seems to be on the side of the casinos. But majority of the time. His calls are right on. The player(s) in question, usually hasn't not followed the rules or tried to defraud in some sense. Its hard to bullshit Nifty. He has an eagle eye for it. Though I agree with a some members here. He's attitude can use some improvements. I must say, This forum is very lucky to have him as a member. Once you have proven yourself to be worthy of this forum and his respect. Nifty will go the distance for you. Everyone has their own unique style and quality about themselves; And that's what makes this forum so great. Agreements and Disagreements is what gives this forums balance. Too many agreements on every issue tends to lead to boredom. . This is a fun forum for fun people. I'm proud to be a member, and glad that people like Nifty are around to bring logics to the table.

Me too! And some of Nifty's comments are quite amusing, like "You two should take a room together"- referring to me and the Weatherman (because I am often impressed by VWM's logic and well-substantiated posts and not shy about expressing my admiration).

It's diversity that makes this a great forum!

Yes, I like the bloke. He's like me in real life; blunt, straight to the point and often accused of insensitivity. He doesn't hold a grudge, admits when he's wrong. I even took up the mantra of 'foil hatter' in my avatar on his behalf....
He argues with me and next day thanks me for something else. He unshakeable in his view of things being black-and-white. I sometimes see anomalies and grey areas. But then I wear a foil hat. Yep, not bad for an old colonial.
As for WVM, aka 'typus infinitus' of keyboard diarrhoea fame: lengthy maybe, but well constructed and usually well researched and relevant. Always worth reading, and coaxes you into mixing his opinions with facts and coming to the same conclusion. Doesn't often fool Nifty though. Of the old school, experienced in UK AWP's and in a previous life was like Chopley, sharking the AWP's and lo-tech slots for a consistent profit. And me also, although I wasn't as prolific as those two. VWM thanks rarely, as few people have the tenacity and patience to construct equally detailed replies and maintain them.
The forum hierarchy, i.e. Max/Simmo/Bryan - give you a fair chance, coach and advise when necessary and come down hard on, well my Latin is limited, but 'spammus illegitimos' and 'ignis idiota' and their kind.

It's great and all to praise your fellow members openly. But like all topics, this can turn into a debate, and I would not want to see this thread take a turn in that direction. So I would like to close this before we have that experience. Thanks for your understanding.
