The glass ceiling...? Anyone else?

I'm wondering if it's just me, but it seems that lately my luck is 'capped' at a certain amount. The last few times I've played I can get my balance up to $200-$250 and that's it, then it's straight down the toilet. I was just thinking fondly of a couple years ago when if I got my balance up to $200, then I could bet a little higher and cash out $500-$1000 easy. Now it seems if I don't cash out the $200 I'm sunk.

I know it's just gambling, I'm not saying that they're 'watching' and pull the plug when I hit that mark - although it would be nice to blame someone besides myself.

Especially since I'm kicking myself thinking of the 4 or 5 $250 withdrawals I've played back in the last couple of weeks hoping to hit something worth cashing out.

Hell i would consider myself lucky to even double my balance these days. My plan for 2013 infact is to cash out if and as soon as i can double my balance. I have been doing this on ladbrokes since the turn of the year and currently have an RTP of over 100%. At 32 red i use bonuses and try to drive big wins and have an RTP in the 80s.

Is this at one casino or a few casinos?

A few months ago I swear I said to my hubby, I can never get over x amount of dollars, everytime I would get up to that amount, no matter what I did it would never go over that amount. This was only at one casino.

This is why I am trying horses.

The bounce effect is more noticeable in certain games and at certain times of night.

Playing cyberstud poker at the dead of night (with a gingerbread latte for company) will let me get (at most) 10 or 12 hands ahead by dealing me a bunch of great hands before sucking me back with a series of dealer hands that are just a touch better than mine.
Not noticeable if you were playing blackjack, but almost comical when you lose cyberstud 20 hands in a row (including a straight beaten by a flush and a flush beaten by a Full House ...yikes, chances of seeing two of these in one night in a real life casino? Well I never did, and i played that game for years in the Glasgow Gala before they stopped offering it)


But of course whether you are playing slots or card games (and they are one and the same in reality on an online casino) it's all fine if you can spot the bounce point early enough (and be disciplined enough to exit. Two very different challenges!)

done it a 100 times, that's why I stopped gambling. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to gambing.

good for those that have the discipline to cash out or head out the casino door.

let me add this thought, maybe it will help, gambing undervalues money, that's why you think $250 is not worth cashing out.
once you stop for awhile, you realize just how far $250 can go in every day life.

DUDE, You are SPOT ON!!! I thought it was just me who noticed those things. LOL - Its all to common in Blackjack too. No matter what you do. Hit, stand, split or double. When you are at that point. NOTHING works.

Atleast you got an ewallet to withdrawal too. Here in US we have to play to a certain amount just to be able to cashout. And sometimes $400+ to avoid fees.

I was going to say the same thing. (I did find out recently that the Sloto group will let you cash out under their 350 minimum, but they take a $45 processing fee out of that - which really might be worth it when you get right down to it - spend 45 or lose 200 trying to hit the minimum.)
