The 2016/2017 football season predictor thread

I really can't understand Mourinho's minds about Mkhitaryan. Yes, he was terrible against City, but he is still one of the best in his zone in Europe. And i actually wants him to play as #10, not right winger. If you saw pre-season's game against Wigan, he was almost perfect in his first 45 minutes for United playing under the striker.

Let's talk about Slovenia - England (0:0). Why England footballers were so bad in yesterday's game?

I can't bring myself to watch England qualifiers or friendlies.....it's always the same. They'll beat a really terrible team 5-0 at home and everyone thinks they're future world champions and then it's back to being boring, predictable and frustrating against teams they should beat :mad:

The game of all Europe this weekend. Liverpool - Man United
What do you think about it?

Sam, I don't know how to tell you....do you want the good news or the bad news? :)

Ok ok, bad news first. You'll lose to Liverpool.....good news: it won't be by too many goals

And even better news: Rooney will be leftback.......in the dressing room!!

Hope Shaw and Micki will be able to play some minutes in this game.

Mourinho will get it right with Man U, but it may take half a season before it 'clicks'.

The difference is Klopp's been at Liverpool a season longer and they're only now playing how he wants, and playing well.

2-1 Liverpool, Coutinho winner in the 82nd minute with a top-right curler

First season for Klopp was not so good, but he didn't have the pre-season time with Liverpool. Now we can see the difference.

Given his massive contract once Rooney gets used to the humiliation of being a bit player I think he will not lose too much sleep.

Rooney will training as a pro boxer in a few years,a la Mickey Rourke :eek2:

I think that Liverpool will win comfortably. I don't think that Rooney will start. In fact I can't see him being more than a bit player now.

I think Liverpool won't miss the opportunity to have the equal points as Man City and be at the top.. I have heard Griezmann can replace Rooney.. In that case Wayne will find himself in USA or China.

Again David De Gea is the United's hero ..

He's saved you not just tonight but the last two seasons! You are so fortunate to still have him....if Man U and Real hadn't pissed about with the fine details of the transfer he'd be training with Ronaldo & co.

Liverpool were limp, must be the occasion. However, Mourinho got it right again and ground out the result. That's why he's the best!

I'm really surprised with final 0-0 result after derby.

I'm pleased I didn't get to watch the game judging by the reports. Newcastle will be top by the end of today :) I'm just disappointed that there are seldom any live feeds online to Championship games so I can watch them. On Saturday I had to watch a fan at St James live stream the game via periscope.

Anyone else playing fantasy football manager and struggle to get the points in this season?
Last season I had a rock solid team, not many changes needed over the season and I ended in the top 3 in my work's sub league.
I had an average score of 63 points a week but this year my average so far is a miserable 41 points.
This year I am only 28th out of 34 colleague's in the sub league and as I am very competitive I do not like that one bit. :D

I have changed my team over various positions and already used my wildcard too.
Seem to be particulaly unlucky with my captains, last weekend I had Aguero who missed a penalty bloody hell!
So ended up with -2 points for him. :what:

Here is my current team: *changed Mahrez this week in favour of Theo Walcott as Leicester sucks this season and Walcott is on fire*
Not a bad team me thinks? ;) So where do I go wrong.

Lotusch I don't play that but I have an online dream team. I'm currently in 106704th position. I'm still optimistic of winning with my team, the Furburgers.
My team:
Adrian, Clyne,Bellerini,Fuch, Smalling,Burkley, Payet.Ozil,Toure,Lukaku and Berghuis.

What could possibly go wrong? :cheerleader:

Edit. I don't think that the Middlesbrough players will do you any favours

Edit 2. Defoe no longer plays for West Ham so your not going to get any points with that info. He binned West ham as soon as they got relegated way back when

No Defoe is playing with Sunderland, the team under the players name in brackets is the next opponent they play. :D;)
And he does well actually even when Sunderland is struggling as usual.
He is actually second in the points ranking for strikers.

EDIT: And seeing your other EDIT in the post I think you are just playing a prank here? :-) Or did you really think Walcott plays with Middlesboro? :S

Oops, sorry for me misunderstanding. He will get at harsh reception from the hammers. I'm loving the cheesy chips munchers league position( Sunderland) . Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch :P

Yes,I did spot that too but I was confused by the team names under each player

really. thank you sir Alex for de Gea. I have no words about United plays yesterday. It was terrible (especially Ibrahimovic's header after Pogba's pass)

It was the Toon's win and Suunderland's loss today that I loved. Moyes can't be far away from the sack. But who would replace him?

I think we all know the Scottish barcodes will win this league, so i welcome you to come whip are asses next month

PS... Only saying that so you dont take the piss when you do

Your a Wolves supporter?
I can only see us going from strength to strength now. Newcastle have a big enough squad to deal with injuries and the winter weather. Also everyone else seem to be dropping too many points.
