I've been playing at Club World today and made a $75 deposit, as well as taken a 100% match bonus by invite. I was low rolling a bit, playing only 54c, which was 18 lines at 3c per line. I was in the bonus round and I hit a Sorcerer, three rows of Dragons and another Sorcerer. It paid me $1500 and flashed that the max had been hit. I've gotten 3000 on the same bet, same hit at Slotastic, in fact, just recently. I think this is bull shit! I'm happy I hit it, but I think it's absolute bullocks that they have this kind of limit, especially in light of their recent demolition of one of my substantial bankrolls.

It's just difficult enough for most folks to hit, but these tactics drive me nuts!

I'm sure Nifty will be along to malign me soon enough. I've gotta be the only person he knows who bitches about winning. :D

Yea the max payout rule seems odd to me. I read a few post here that explained it but I still don't agree with it. I would prefer the pay tables to at least be re-written and show exactly what you will win.

Congrats on your awesome hit though :notworthy. Whats that like 2700+ x bet?

So are you saying that at Club World it paid less that it would have at Slotastic?

This would be impossible unless they had 2 different paytables

Congrats on your win all the same and good luck on the WR

Wish I could whinge about winning atm

Edit: come to think of it, was this the only win during the feature? Because during a feature RTG accumulates all wins and adds them to the max payout, so if you hit this after already winning some it may have triggered the max payout.

I don't have Slotastic installed on my computer, but I thought max payout per paid spin was 50,000x line bet for most games, and that is what it is on Mystic Dragon at ClubWorld. I thought that paytables were the same across the .
RTG platform. Freespins are capped at the max too....I've often read groans over that issue.

Any chance you were playing 9 lines @ 6 cents?

I know you like to mix up the lines, and the max is 50,000 x line bet.

I think you will find that in the other situation you were playing a higher line bet..maybe 9 x .06?

The max payouts are not adjustable AFAIK. Yes it blows that there are limits, but we all know RTG have them so there's no legitimate grounds for complaint if one chooses to play there with that knowledge. It's a similar case with max cashouts on free chips I.e. we all know they apply so there's no point whining when you use one and hit a RJ. I recall the effect on RTP is actually very small.

Oh yeah....and I can't believe you're complaining about winning again.....

Takethemoney,

You can whine all you like about the max payout but RTG wont budge on this. I recall Dogboy giving us a detailed account on this months ago but I found the reasons unconvincing especially on its relationship with the rtp.

As for different payouts between CWC and Slotastic, get those damn logs from them and check for yourself. I am not doubting you but we need to make sure the facts are correct before accusations start flying.

If this is really the case, why bother having such a cap in the first place - it doesn't make sense that for such a small difference they risk angering players who find their "once in a lifetime" hits sliced. There has to be a more substantial RTP difference for RTG to first introduce this policy, and then resist tooth & nail any suggestion to remove it. The best we got was a move from 40000x line bet to 50000x line bet.

It seems more likely that the worry is about underfunded operators getting clobbered by those very rare big hits, and the cap allows them to limit the extremes of variance that although rare, can and do occur. It is possible that this is the same reasoning behind max cashouts on both free chips and deposit bonuses for regular players. RTG won't budge because operators don't want them to.

My thoughts exactly, and I believe the reasons you discuss are correct.

I'm with mattsgame on this one about winning right now.

I wish I could hit the Max payout and then be disappointed that my mega hit should of been, would of been, could of been.....:p

It's a dumb and unfair rule plain and simple but...

There are some people out there that have never even been lucky enough to have a hit high enough to get to the max payout rule, myself included and i have been playing RTG for 6 years now.

My luck is super horrid on this platform no matter what casino I play at and I have all but given up hope of seeing the random jackpot message or the max payout message come up. :(

I know it sucks for players in the USA because you are mainly limited to play RTG but I play almost daily on other platforms and I can only think of a handful of times I have gone around 2000 times my bet let alone pass that amount, I know the possibility exists at least but it's something that happens rarely and to few players if that's any comfort.

Hopefully soon USA will be once more able to be free to play at any casino they so choose and I for one will be a happy chappy as my play time and regular large wins shrivelled up when you guys left the scene. :sob:
