I plan to deposit $300. I could have a bonus of 550% 30x playthrough 10x max cash out or 250% with no restrictions. Which is best? Thanks

just put the 300.00 in naked [no bonus] if you want more play time
play for fun till you cant stand it any more
then put the real $$money in why look for w/r problems and restricted games
no disrespect intended

PS And of course your useing the accredited list here , to choose your casino

I very rarely take bonuses, however occasionally I do and rarely win. My last $35 for 2009 went to a new casino for me and I took a 400% bonus with 25x playthru. Made the WR and cashed out $900......HAPPY NEW YEAR to me:D:D

To make WRs like that you need a couple of big wins to keep you going otherwise you've little chance. I was fortunate to get a $700 and $500 win which allowed me to make the $3500 WR

10x what in the first one?
If it's 10 x Bonus then I would go for that one - you're VERY unlikely to win that much.
But if the max is 10 x Deposit, then I would go for the second bonus instead.

Welcome to the forum, and good luck!

another important question is, is the bonus cashable or not?

because 30x WR for a non-cashable bonus is only a joke and waste of time and with this 10x max cashout rule it double sucks ;)

The MOST important question is...which casino is it? 550% sounds ominously like a Virtual shithole. Please do your homework before depositing money anywhere...bonus or no bonus.

Check out the accredited list here, and more importantly, the rogue list. If the casino you're thinking of depositing at is on the rogue or not recommended list, find another place to play. Big bonuses do NOT equate to a reputable gaming establishment. All the bonuses in the world won't do you any good, if you'll never see your money should you win.

I would like to add my experience with not taking the time to read the T&C's along with all the bonus rules a casino can have and they all can vary.
Before I knew of this one RTG casino being considered Rogue, I had played there for some time making small deposits and always taking a bonus but never familiarizing myself with the conditions.
I had deposited $25, took a large bonus, don't remember exactly what it was but it came with the 10x max cashout rule. I made my playthrough with a small amount left and decided to play Diamond Mine Deluxe nickel slot, it had a progressive that was hitting $4,000 and wouldn't you know it, I won the jackpot. I was so thrilled having never won anything like that before, so I immediately cashed out. After a few days the processing was done and the amount sent to me was $250. So that 10x max cashout cost me $3,750 to learn to read before accepting a restrictive bonus like that, it was a very hard and expensive lesson.

Pina this is the new thing with rivals lately. Vegas Regal offers these kind of bonu
ses with max cashouts. Tropica also offers these..I think pretty soon all the rivals are going this way to either restrict how much you can withdraw or you only play without a bonus. I seldom take bonuses anyways.

the golden rule with these types of bonuses = play with your own money...

i mean say you took the bonus... you could be 1000's up and still have 6000 to meet WR...

the way i see WR its a way for casinos to keep you playing thus you lose more... i mean hell yea if you deposited 20 and got a 20 bonus then won 6000, thats very well,

but in your case id play with your own money and leave it at that

If I was gonna deposit $300 I would go with the 250% with no restrictions cause it sucks to have a max cashout. I took one of those amazing buy $100 and get $200 at a Rival Casino with a max cashout of $1000 and of course after I met the WR requirements I was up $4000 but of course could only cashout $1000 which sucked. I guess that is Murphy's law. Max cashout restrictions are bad in my opinion if your going to deposit more than $75 or so, anyway that is my 2cents worth.

Almost as bad then.

Strictly my own opinion of course....but I wouldn't play at Rival with Robwin's money, never mind my own. :D

I think I may have to look at 3Dice again lol. I have Clubworld and Inet so I'm just rechecking different places until I feel comfortable. I would love to play at 32red!

If there is no restriction on the 250% one, take that. It is better to play without playthrough. Because of the 30x playthrough, I wouldn't take the first bonus. It is just too much. 58000 to turn over is big.

In my experience I have found that any bonus offered over the initial deposit or 100% should be treated with the upmost caution. 550% bonus with a x10 mx cashout has to be poor value. Because the enormous playthrough is artificially inflated by the bonus. The x10 max cashout means the casino is holding all the cards on this one.

It is always worth sitting down and carefully deciding the following before taking a bonus.

1/ What is the likelyhood of me meeting WR
2/ Is the value in the bonus, worth me tieing up my deposit.
3/ Are the restrictions so prohibitive it will affect my normal gameplay.
4/ Is there anything I have missed, reread the terms and conditions before playing.

Remember with any bonus you are effectively betting against the house that you will meet WR, if you fail to meet WR you lose the bet. So always question the value for the odds that are on offer. Bonuses can be beneficial to the player, but only if the VALUE for the player is there. Unfortunatly for many players quantifying what is value is not easy, because of the variables involved.

That's exactly what I tried to quantify with the bonus rating system on my sites.
There are very few +EV slots bonuses available these days, as you would expect, but some bonuses, even from reputable casinos, are bordering on criminal IMHO.
Generally speaking you are right - the bigger the % the less chance you have of meeting the WR before busting out.

No doubt about it KK, it is a jungle out there. Finding a good equilibrium for the bankroll and bonus can be a tricky business.

Deciphering just the T&C's can be enough to give many a player a headache, let alone weighing up the pros and cons of the bonus itself. Hence why so many bonus questions get posted on this forum.

A lot of casinos tend to throw headline grabbing figures at players, hoping they will take the bait. But with more players coming to places like Casinomeister and seeing guides like yours KK, hopefully players will be a lot wiser to some of the trickery that goes on, and can benefit from fair bonuses.

Bonus or no bonus?

Sometimes the bonus offers are just plain scary..

Offers, mind you , I have no idea if the terms are as frightening or not , because I couldn't find any pertaining to these bonuses (see below). Not to mention any way to enter any code what so ever in the cashier (in hope of perhaps a T & C link!!!)

But in any case when the offer seems absolutely crazy , my gut says steer clear!

Got this in my email last night...

--> Bonus #1

3030% bonus on deposits of $ 20 - 300

Coupon code : 3030WEEK

Bonus #2

$ 900 flat bonus on all deposits of $ 25 and above. Deposit $ 25 or more and get $ 900 in your account.

Coupon code : 900FLAT

Bonus #3

1100% bonus on deposits of $ 20 - 500

Coupon code : 1100CASH

All bonuses expire on January 9, 2010 11:59 Eastern Standard Time. <---

comments anyone?

Without the complete terms no one will be able to say anything decent about those bonuses.

But they look waaay to good to be true.

yep ... LOL, and run

When i started playing i thought wow 1-2-300% bonus free tons of money to play for but then u figure out you need to do maybe 3-50000$ to withdraw it kinda lost my interest, playing only my own money now, actually fun how you have to almost beg the support to remove your bonuses on deposits like on europe casino today took me 5min to get the support to remove it even had to relog the software to get another support to talk with the other person went silence after asking, but i saw its on the "no can do" list so gonna skip this casino in future bad/slow support.
