Being New here, I see all sorts of posts and threads with the title of some one or 'nother gambling operation, and the first thought that enters my head is "Can that one e played from the US? If it can, I might be interested; If not, there are other things to look at."

It would be handy then if there were national flag emblems next to each company title that showed where they wee accepted. That might be a lot of work though unless the site were somehow laid out so that it optioned in automatically with a new thread or post. I really don't know programming that well. Too, there are over 200 countries in the world... so practically speaking there would have to be a limit I guess.

OR: is it only the US that has such a problem with online gambling?

I think it's fair to say that the problem is far worse in the US than almost anywhere else in the world. It's simple numbers really: a large population that (generally) likes to gamble and a goverment that doesn't want to see all those gambling dollars going off-shore .. so you get the protectionist laws that you have now, and the chaos that precipitates out of that situation.

That said the "country flags" idea has its merits which is why you often see it used. As I recall CM used to use them on the casino listings, not sure when that changed. On the other hand marking each and every forum thread with these would probably have to be done by hand and that would likely be prohibitively time-costly. Just speculating though, as ever it's Bryan's call.

No

Im New here on this forum too, and i can tell you guys here in Brazil we have lots gamble issues, first of all is very ilegal here Open a casino or Bingo. Only what work is poker room. But the goverment closed one house they open others and thats is how work, peoples go gamble in houses ilegal that is ride of goverment.
After the new law comes, evrything about gamble online comes WORSE than ever to us Brazilian, unfortunelly.
I have been in 3 differents casinos since then and going Vegas at last a time per year.
