Super Monopoly Money - how long does the money last?

Hello All, I need some advice.

I have started the starspins welcome offer. I've deposited £20, and received £40 bonus (x40 wagering). I have been playing Super Monopoly Money. I now have a balance of £0 but monopoly money of 30.

If I cashout the monopoly money, it will still need wagering as part of my welcome bonus.

Current welcome bonus stats:
You've met 16% of your wagering requirements
Your bonus will expire on 14 Dec 2016.

If I leave the monopoly money within the game, until after the 14th Dec, would the welcome bonus wagering be removed from my account then I could proceed and cashout the monopoly money straight to my cash balance?

Will the monopoly money still be within the super monopoly slot for over a month? Or should I just cashout and continue wagering?

Any advice on this would be great. Thanks in advance

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
i dont know how long it would last, but very surprised you can play that game with a bonus ?
all casinos as far as i know exclude this game from bonus play.

yes, apart from Casumo this is the only casino that I know that will allow me to play all funds (deposit & bonus) on MSM. I know with Casumo I can just withdraw all the funds straight away. I did have an earlier monopoy cash that I cashout but it was still bonus funds and needed wagering.

Would love to know if I can just wait a month and cashout.....

If your balance is absolute zero - £0.00 then you've already failed wagering.

Find the page in your account where it should tell you this, and see if it says "Fail". OR even if you can forfeit.

I think it should be okay to take the £30 now and it would add to your cash balance. It would be a completely different story if you had say 10p in the account remaining and took the £30, then you would have screwed yourself.

Just triple check you have a clear zero balance though before proceeding.

EDIT: Apologies, Starspins aren't Cassava operated.

These are the scenarios that can happen for you.

1 a) You take a chance and take the £30 now and the money is yours (Great)

1 b) You take a chance and take the £30 now and wagering is still intact (Not Great)

2 a) You wait to December and take it (Great)

2 b) You wait to December to take it and its wiped from memory (Devastating, but unlikely)

Really up to how you feel

couldn't see any excluded games. but part of the 'bonus abuse policy' includes this line;

depleting a playable bonus balance to attempt to close a bonus, or waiting for a bonus to expire, after which collecting winnings from any unresolved game(s)

So I'm surprised this game was allowed to be played with bonus funds, then again Cassava for all their trouble seem lax about this...They are also great for when you take a bonus and DON'T dip into the bonus money you are free to withdraw whatever you make - Minus the bonus cash.

My balance is zero. However, i've been in contact with them via live chat (asked them a random question about deposting). My welcome bonus wagering will not expire until I have a zero balance within game too, so they must be looking at my monopoly money balance.

Thanks for this, I did give the terms a read but must have missed this very important line.

Adam's response above tells you everything you need to know.

You need to take it now to avoid bonus abuse, otherwise it's lost to you anyway. Sorry for the bad news :(

Allowed to play or not, If you 0 out than spin / accept the cash, which if you accept I think its 2 -3 x that 30, You will be flagged for bonus abuse, Even if wager states completed,

I know some sites wager goes if you hit 0 or a few pennys, Thats where this situation comes in abit sticky,

But also some sites will not 0 out if you have a bonus ongoing, Unsure about MM,

Best thing to do is use it, Or you will end up losing any way when come to withdraw, If you use it and you nether complete wager and it still states wager complete than speak to help, They may wave it, Just tell them that you didnt know the bonus would 0 out while having a bonus game / Built up funds active,

I am unsure how long the money actually lasts in there, I no some bonus rounds can last months, But here is another problem, If you leave it in there until the 14th Dec and bonus auto gets wiped, Than any ongoing bonus may get wiped also, I know some sites have this in place,

Starspins is Gamesys like Virgin Games, Jackpot Joy and are OK. Your SMM counts as a balance, so take it or spin the wheel (you can actually take 150 quid as you will get 5x for not spinning the wheel) and carry on with the wagering on that slot or another. 150 quid with 84% wagering left gives you a decent chance of a cash-out, go on St*rb*rst or something with the 150.

P.S. As said, the old scam of leaving SMM in the game and retrieving it AFTER the bonus expires as it will turn to cash is defunct now. Don't even try it or you'll be booted. Deservedly so as it's abuse.

Spin that wheel!!! ......

Maybe you hit the magical x200 multiplier ....:thumbsup:
After that no issues to hit WR anymore ^^

Hit x100 once with like €8.00 in the bank...I was over the moon as this slot is in general very vile towards me.

This thread prompted me to go thru a few accounts as I used to play SMM very regularly.

I defo recall leaving around the 45 euro mark in Casumo and playing it about a week later (left it for a rainy day and used when gambling pot was empty, a whole 7 days, did well didn't I  ) ((No bonus involved so nothing against terms etc.))

Bottled it and took the guaranteed x5 IIRC.

However I also built up a few quid at other places, nowhere near the 45 I mention, probs between 5-10.

Just re-visited these places and they don't even offer the game anymore  so as has been said above, I'd spin the wheel and quickly lol.

Screenshot or video if you decide to please :p

The days when this kind of trick would work are long gone. Casinos had enough players doing it to spot that something was up, and so they took measures to prevent it. Preventing bonus money from being played in such a game is probably the best method, as it does not rely on an audit having to be done to check for it upon a later withdrawal.

These tricks used to work because WR would expire based on the account balance, and "hidden" balances within games wasn't something the developers had even considered as a possible issue.

The game developers clearly didn't see the potential for such problems when they designed such games.

You would think these things were a thing of the past but one of the new casinos recently going through BBF got hammered by an AP collective in the last few months for having not excluding this from SUB.

You are absolutely correct though that by implementing a technical solution to prevent the game being played on bonus money is the right solution. But casinos revert to the cheaper option of simply adding a line to their T&Cs which is negative for the player as it just ends up with ever more complicated T&Cs.

I hope the CMA hammer them on this particular point.

They probably will. The issue is that they are being lazy and relying on the numerous get-out clauses in ever more complex terms, which increasingly hit ordinary players who are nothing to do with any "AP collective". They also rely on deliberately vague and open ended terms so that they can don't have to define in detail what is and isn't allowed so that the AP collective can't slip something they hadn't considered past them. However, this kind of defence strategy isn't permitted under consumer law.

If a technical solution isn't something that can be implemented effectively, just don't use that kind of game engine at all - one for the software suppliers to take note of.
