OK, firstly as this isn't about fake streamers and secondly the other thread turned into inanity, it seems the casinos are taking note of the bad reputation. One major group supplied me with this document this morning which is to be soon sent to all their affiliates:

If this catches on to all responsible affiliate programmes, streaming will have little future or become very staid and boring. In this instance affiliates face having revenues removed, accounts shut or even sued should they breach the rules in regards to this group.

So how can you "accurately promote our brands" whilst at the same time "don't promote our brands while you are live streaming" :what::confused:

Glad to see they are taking notice, Not one of them did really what 4 years ago when I went to every casino group about the streaming idea as they had no idea why it would help them, Now here we are.

The guidelines are, in the main, contradictory and largely impossible to follow.

To my mind this exposes the shady world of affiliated streamers for what it is, irresponsible and predatory. Showing gambling as something that can be sensibly enjoyed as a form of entertainment (which I personally believe it can be) is one thing. However, introduce the promotion of casinos and brands into the equation, where an affiliated streamer has a direct monetary interest in, essentially, enticing people to gamble, is quite another thing.

Add in the nonsensical bonuses they get offered, the ridiculous bets they play at, and the constant HIGH TENSION EXCITEMENT they feel the need to convey, and you're left a long way from the actual gambling experience that most people will get, most of the time.

That's not to say that gambling can't be fun and exciting, of course it can be, but we all know that for every great session or every big win, there are a lot of losing sessions and a lot of dead spins, and let's be frank about it, potentially quite a lot of money to be lost.

That's the truth. Streamers don't want to tell the truth, because it's not in their interests to do so.

It says 'Don't UNLESS given permission by the affiliate manager'. In other words they would make a judgement on your style, content, behaviour, stakes etc. before allowing it. You can obviously edit highlights of streams ex post facto after removing anything that could breach the rules, i.e. swearing and irresponsible gambling but then you'd be left with 30 second of film in most cases.

Or in your case, after all the farting was edited out, about 4 seconds.

There's a few streamers around that aren't 25, would they not be allowed anymore to represent that brand until they turn 25?
What about the streaming teams that take turns like Casinodaddy and some others? I'd argue they're in a workplace environment when streaming their play.
And lastly, they should introduce a maximum stake for the people who promote their casino's which is atleast realistic to most normal slotplayers. Ofcourse this varies from person to person but I don't think most people who watch streams are betting over €/£2 a spin. There's quite a few streamers who will play those stakes most of the time btw, sadly they don't get the viewership they deserve.

Yet these are just guidelines. Most big-money showmen streamers follow the first two 'Don'ts' to the letter and that's how they make their bread and butter

Yes, and created by one on major group (will understand that is one of the big operators in business) to be given their affiliated streamers. Time will tell how much exceptions and flexibility will be shown before they cut out contract with some big streamer who is bringing them loads of good quality traffic.

At least there are some guidelines to start with, until now it have been pretty much Twitch/YT who only give bans or take off channels. Have not really big opinion about nor following any streamers but enough to be able to say that not really think all of these type of affiliates are too responsible and not giving bit incorrect picture about gambling and and show that they live quite wealthy live and afford gambling bet size where my monthly wage goes in hour.....

Probably my first comment about this topic, other side there are very decent people who are making videos or live streams, playing with "normal" stakes and are entertaining if it's your cup of tea to watch somebody to play slots. Have active chat conversations and other forum platforms where they can have their own community speak about 100 other things than just gambling.

Haven't really seen proper research done, how many problem gamblers have got to in to serious problems because following some high rollers streams/video clips, much more assumptions. We see loads of unhealthy staff from internet, TV etc.... but still most of it, even some crazy reality tv shows don't make lot of people to follow their examples. Adult watchers should imo have some capability to own thinking and decision making, even if you have never ever played slots and for some reason get link and click it to follow somebody who play online slots with huge stakes and you see huge wins and get picture that this is what this person do for living and look doing very well financially, shouldn't most of people still make some conclusion that this maybe is not easy and fast way to get rich to open account from one of these links and make few grands in half an hour just to begin with?

There are always people who take part to different multilevel marketing scams and other stuff by making impulsive decisions without any further thinking or research, but still want to believe that majority of us are capable to make their own decisions without getting to big troubles.

so..basically a 'do as we say, not as we do' approach, huh

I'm sure the casinos are immediately binning those cutesy and/or anime slots and changing their promos to show people that are plain and fully clothesed and only marginally attractive

What can be deemed sexually appealing is a pretty broad subject. (pun intended)
Like, would they be allowed to play slots like immortal romance?
