Stop spin - RTG

I get the feeling that stop/spin influences the game. time
I have used this repeatedly to see if it would stop on certain reels. It stops on predetermined reels. IMO it has NO influence at all on what you will be getting. That button is just a pain in the butt. It interferes with playing. You used to be able to flip back and forth from max bet to spin without pause, now it has the stupid stop button that intereferes with this rhythm.

.

Does anyone have log data? I get the feeling that stop/spin influences the game. time travel?

Me and you again Darf but it is far too hot here for work right now.

There is no reason I can think of that it should influence the result and yet it is presented in such a way to suggest it does just that.
So actually it is quite an interesting question you are asking because if it does influence the result then how and why and if it does not then what is the point?

I would say that it is just a way to get people to play faster and the result is unchanged from when you pressed "Spin" which is when the result is determined (Or should be) but many times you can not stop the reels when you press stop, you have to keep pressing but maybe that is just a bandwidth issue?
There are certainly other ways to introduce "fast spin" such as shortening reel animations and as regards the stop button it is deceitful to pretend there is any skill element to a random game.

Certainly it would not be allowed under UKGC regulations and nor would fast spin as each game should have a minimum time it lasts before the next game can be played.
These regulations are there to protect the players from compulsive gambling behaviour which these devices attempt to encourage.

Im guessing the spins are predetermined. Only use I find of stopping the spins, is when there is no more possibility to win on that spin.

Also I find those slots very slow.

My play seems different... can you get the rtg programmer back on here? I saw you had a good debate

Rusty's right, the spins are determined as soon as your computer contacts the casino server after you click on "spin," and the only thing the stop button is doing is stopping the reels...

I've noticed a few delays sometimes for it to click in and stop the reels, but that's just due to congested Internet toobs; the games were doing that with or without using the stop spin "feature"

The first time I heard about this new feature, I thought "cool." That was before I saw it in action. It's not like B&M slot machines that have this (Wolf Run is one) where the reels don't stop 1ms (A millisecond is one thousandth of a second.) after the server is contacted and told to stop the reels...

The reasoning behind the sudden stop is that RTG's elite programmers  decided that instead of just doing the work behind the scenes, they would simply swap out symbols and stop the reels immediately...

lol I do that too on the new 25 line ones :) if I don't get two simbols in a row I hit stop, lol

that'
s so cool. I'm just noticing a pattern I'd like to see in black and white or at least someone who really knows saying that it is a true random game

A bit off-topic, but does anyone know why Darf is banned?

Because it's the goof Lojo, KK. And you'd best get over to OCR Forum as well...he's posted there too, bunch of gibberish, as well as at WOL. There was a thread here in Introductions that got removed...thank God for that. Complete rubbish. Boy needs help.

I played stop spin alot of times when hammering myself on RTGs. I dont see a difference and think the win / loose is predetermined from when the reels of death start the roll. However when I won my 6k plus RJ on a RTG this was using the stop spin method. So fast i didnt know i had 6k in my account until around 2 or 3 spins later. It is annoying you get time outs and the wheels can spin forever. I like to sit there slupring vodka and shouting as I loose more and more but when those wheels keep turning it drives me nuts. But I think No they aint fixed its just a gimmick - use or dont use. Thy choice.
