Hi everyone!
I have about 3 months or more reading posts here in this great HONEST forum!
I come here ( find the website ) cause of a bad story happend to class1casino but now i see that is not that the PROBLEM!
I started playing at online casinos only for one reason!
Profit from their bonuses ( in the future i saw that this was impossible )
In the same time while trying to profit from bonuses i make registrations to all casinos ( not knowing who is accredited or monitored from ecogra or Casino Meister or something like that ) and i start to play ( i start my bad online experience )
and while playing ( thinking of bonuses ) i start to be addicted...:((((
1 year i lost 7000 $ in this crazy industry!
I always played cause i had a dream about something BIG!
I see other people winn, HIt Big and i think it will be me NEXT TIME!
When i make a TEST and Gambler Anonymous i see that hmmm all my desires was a sign of addiction!( this probably is something happening to all gamblers around the world )
I am really courious how people are in control, how they winn, are they happy or for them its just a crazy online experience without thinking about the REAL future!
The point is that i need a suggest!
There is any book or any advice for me about to STOP gambling online or to Stay in control, i need advice for that cause i think i am a bad educated gambler!
There is any strategie which can make me winn BACK those money
I hope i was clear for all people with experience here!
Ps.I think gambling online will be HIGHRISK in the FUTURE for all people around the world!

When its not fun anymore and your not meeting your bills due to gambling then its time to consider quitting, or if its starting to become a problem in your personal life with your spouse and or family, another sign......time to quit.

Im not to sure on what books to recommend to you, i can wish you all the strength that you will need to over come what can be an over powering addiction, i do hope you find the help and resouces you need...............God speed to you and yours, laurie:)

Problems with gambling are very much the same as drug, alcohol, smoking, and many more addictions. Its a good thing that you realize you may have a problem in such a short period of time. Most problem gamblers are unable to seek help till all is lost and laying in a gutter. Only to mention a few eventual issues addictions could lead to, are losing your health, friends, material, and most importantly befriending or lying to loved ones and losing all self respect.

Just the fact after one year you sense a problem is a good sign that you should be able to get this issue under control. Yet, in your request for help and suggestions, you ask if there is a way to actually beat them. Unless you have been living in a cave most of your life, you should already know there is no way to beat them in the long run. Its been said before, over and over again that this mega billion dollar business was not built on paying temporary winners.

Many players (gamblers) know how to control themselves in addition to having careful money management skills. Although most maybe 99% will end up losing in the long run are capable and prepared to except their loses as a cost of entertainment in their quest to hit the lucky life changing win. The amount of money is irrelevant as per personal circumstances.

I sense a problem just from the fact of you making this thread. If youre incapable of just pulling the plug, I suggest you google gambling problems etc. etc. and your computer will light up with places and people to talk to for professional advice.

Good luck with your issue, and feel fortunate you are smart enough to detect a problem in such early stages.

"There is any strategie which can make me winn BACK those money "

My opinion is forget about looking for answers or ways to win back what is already gone, chances are that may never happen and if you play thinking maybe it will someday, you will find yourself in an ever increasing negative situation.

Hiya: It takes a lot of guts to post what you did, good for you. Now to offer a little help.

1. The $7000 you lost is just that, "LOST". If you were to keep playing, you have to start all over from $0. Nothing worse that making $3500, and trying to double it up to get ther entire $7000 back, and lose $3500 more.

2. Yes, there are those who are known as, Bonus Baggers, and are able to make a little money at it. However they are for the most part, Grinders, playing small ball, and trying to win $1000, $75 at a time, from many different casino's. They also would never try to chase - $7000.

I have no advice on how to quit. I do know this, as others have said, "What money did you lose"? Rent money? Bill payment money? Other important money? If that is the case, do what ever you have to do to stop.

Goodluck.

PS: Do not try to BUY some system, or something like that, as you will just lose the money you spent on it, and more money at the Casino. If you want to know what games others play, and how they play them, just ask.

hey just click some acredited links...life will be good .

buyer beware.

That is absolutely spot on!

When I first started online I lost about $2,000 in my first 3 months - I was not using bonuses, but I WAS chasing losses.
Then I decided I had to stop gambling or stop losing, so became a "bonus player".
It was a very long slow grind, and even though I was playing nearly every day it took me 14 months to win that $2,000 back. Bear in mind also this was 2001/2002 when bonus WRs were a LOT easier!

prostudio, you said you have lost 1,000s even though you were playing bonuses. This tells me you don't have the necessary self control for this activity (just like 95% of the population)and so my advice is to STOP gambling completely, taking any help you need to do so.

Good luck.

Troll alert

Just take all your future deposits and put them in the bank. After a year you'll have your 7000 dollars.

PS. Anyone who has to chase a ho must be a troll.

Thank you!

I think the most serious, honest and very kind people are here at CM and i am very happy to be here and find answers!
I will really try to stop but for a gambler its really dificult!
I have only one problematic year and i think i feel good cause there are to much more players that cant stop for many years, anyway i feel that they need the same help like me, to STOP gambling!
Its very strange for a musician ( i am composer and teacher 28 year old..i have a small music studio with a post university master first level in music graduation ) to have gambling more important that MUSIC but this is gambling and
YEAH i will STOP....no more dreams and more suffers!
I cant forget someone here ( which make a post here ) telling I HAVE NOT PERSONALITY FOR GAMBLING!
In my poor situation of money i think its the same for me!
Thank you dear member for this serious and kind HELP!
Ps.A online problem i see that must be solved ONLINE....:)
Happy life to all and a BIG thanks from:

Elis, I cannot offer better advice than has already been offered by others in this thread. I would just like to reiterate one thing and add one more warning.

Reiteration: Although not all of us like to admit it at times, I suspect most of us have (at some point) felt exactly how you are feeling now. Don't be ashamed of admitting you have a problem. The only shame lies in knowing deep-down you have a problem but refusing to face up to it or address it.

Warning: Shame, of the kind that I refer to above, is very dangerous because shame is cyclical. When you're ashamed of your actions, the shame actually should be viewed in a positive way. It shows that you are remorseful and 'aware'. A psychopath or someone who has little empathy has no shame, they don't even know what shame feels like. Shame is a remarkably 'human' emotion, and most deeply felt (I believe) by people who desire to behave honourably or admirably or ethically. However - the problem with shame, at least in my experience, is that it creates a domino effect of actions of which you are also ashamed, and the whole thing can accelerate rapidly and out of control before you know it. You're ashamed and feeling down, and as a result, you're obviously vulnerable to temptation, which then leads to actions which create more shame - and so on and so on.

I believe, when it comes to problem gambling, problems with drug use (licit and illicit), problems with anything really - that you nip it right in the bud at an early stage. Apart from our nature being that of habit-formers, that shame factor I refer to above is very powerful - and, once allowed to develop, can get to the point I think where it can threaten to overpower you completely.

It sounds like you have a very positive and healthy attitude from your last post, and with your love of music and your objective approach to self-analysis, I think you'll be totally fine in the long-run. Good luck!

HI!

JHV thank you again and i totally agree with you abou SHAME factor!
The personality start when a person is ashame from hes behave!
Today after read your post and members post i go to read what happen around the world in some usefull websites which help players around the globe about their addiction and i see a BAD world outside!
I read terrible posts about how a person can LOSE everything ( thank GOD im not married and not childrens ) kids, wife, job, friends, parents....everything!
I really cant imagine but someone there said that he is 47 year old and not married no childrens and he played for 17 years at casinos.
All his life gone!
I dont wont to tell with that that everyone must stop gambling cause as i said everyone have the right for a decision and if he is in control he can go on but.......who know what happen if he winn big and think gambling will take care for him future and family future!
Anyway i think this topic will never stop but i am here to talk if something good or bad happen!
Ps.For moment i think block all my account and start a MUSIC BALLET PROJECT!
Regards!
