Gonegambling say's

We don't have any idea of who this is except a spammer using an anonymous mailer. Don't click the site link included in the email. It tries to download files if you click anything on the page.

The site just went off line temporarily and to be honest, I'm not even sure it's a casino. It's very unusual that you can't even click the About Us link, etc. without it first wanting to install files.

Stay away from the site and please know we don't send out emails promoting sponsors in this manner. Pass the word if anyone asks you about it.

I've copied John on the email with all the headers one member included . Thanks for all of you who have alerted us. It's very much appreciated.

Trish

Thanks Ya'll

$2400 bonus? It's from the infamous rogue affiliates spamming Gold VIP Club casino. The landing page you run into after clicking the link is simply a front.

Gold VIP Club either has no clue, condone spamming, or hired the spammer directly to do their dirty work.

Err wait. The correct answer is D: All of the above.

They're doing great though! I wouldn't expect any less from a RTG outfit such as theirs.

These started flowing into my inbox yesterday. I know Trish and John at GG are fit to be tied.

I got these, and one at least seems to be Prime Casino. These are clearly not genuine, but some MAY be confused if they have heard about GoneGambling, but had not tried it. I am sure John will do his best to get these spammers shut down, although I doubt he will have any luck with Gold VIP Rogue Casino.

Genuine GG Emails come from specific Email sender addresses, and not "support", so the spammer made one mistake straight away.
I had three almost at once overnight, but none since. Hopefully, this was a one off.
From the domain in the spam links, I think I have seen this spammer's work before, and it has been documented here at Casinomeister and seems to originate from Hong Kong (or looks like it does, anyway - can never tell what is real, and what is spoofed).

...

The spam I received this a.m. had the spoof 'From' as "gonegambling.com". This is going to cause GG a world of headache if it isn't stopped quickly.

John has posted in the GG forum what he sent to
Prime Casino
an Meki did a who is search
way to much to put here

Thanks

Fit to be tied is putting it mildly. This is one mess you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. John and I both appreciate all the people who took the time to alert us and while everything possible is being done, having GoneGambling associated with "spamming" is damaging to put it mildly.

How can they keep doing this?

I didn't personaly the owner of the site did but I am 1 that keeps recieving the emails

The Spammer - At it AGAIN!

Attention Prime Casino,

ENOUGH!

I had this idiot affiliate/spammers site closed down two days ago. He is now back to spamming the same people all over again and he has set up new sites.

He is only doing this because Prime Casino has failed to act by terminating his affiliate agreement. Prime Casino is now completely responsible for this idiots actions. By not terminating his affiliate agreement Prime Casino is condoning his spamming activities.

Every person who suffered abuse through spam or harm to their business names as GoneGambling and Platinum Play Casino did two days ago, is now going through the same thing over again as a direct result of Prime Casino not terminating their affiliate agreement with this spammer. If Prime Casino made it not worthwhile for this idiot to trade off other businesses reputations and send out spam, he wouldn't do it.

It's been two days and Prime Casino has failed to address my email of complaint apart from an acknowledgement that one of my emails was received. Why has the casino been silent on this matter? It is apparent that Prime Casino has made the choice that a few fast dollars from a spam campaign are more valuable than the casino reputation.

In the two days that Prime Casino has been inactive on this matter the idiot spammer has rebuilt his promotional pages on different domains and started mailing out again. Perhaps Prime Casino should look at employing this guy directly? He certainly works faster than anyone at the casino does.

GoneGambling will now warn our entire membership and other interested parties that Prime Casino are nothing short of Rogues. The time for the casino to act has passed. The time to act was before this idiot spammer set up new sites and started spamming again.

I have copied interested parties on this email. I have also blind copied GoneGambling members who forwarded complaints to me about the spamming and abuse of the GoneGambling name two days ago. My advise to them is to check to see if they are once again being spammed and for them to take out their wrath on Prime Casino.

WARN everyone that Prime Casino are Rogues. They condone theft of business names and spamming.

As Prime Casino condones it's affiliates spamming, then Prime Casino will have to accept the consequences and venom that most people who are tired of being on the receiving end of spam will direct at them.

Multiple copies of the following email has been received by me in the past few hours. Note the different senders names.

A new email just sent to Prime Casino and copied to other interested parties:

Prime Casino,

I am still being spammed by your affiliate. I assume thousands of other people are still being spammed as well.

It's ironic that in forwarding any of the spam emails to you they are rejected by your filter system.

I again suggest that management of Prime Casino takes a serious look at the comments at the following link:

ATTENTION Fortune Lounge: The Prime Casino affiliate who is spamming has been using Platinum Play Casino as the subject line of some of his emails. He cloaked the emails as having been sent by GoneGambling with a subject line of Platinum Play. He was in fact trying to trade off the reputations of both our sites. Prime Casino has not acted to stop the affiliate so one can only assume they are enjoying the income the spamming and trading off our reputations is bringing in.

I have lodged a complaint with eCOGRA and I suggest that Fortune Lounge does the same thing. I doubt it will stop Prime Casino though. It appears that anything goes as far as they are concerned. I'm happy to play the game their way if that's what it takes

The email above was sent to TWO Prime Casino addresses. It just bounced back from one. It's hard to complain to these guys.

I'm sorry to inform you that the message below could not be delivered.
When delivery was attempted, the following error was returned.

I am still being spammed. I just sent this new email to Prime Casino, the hosts of the spammers sites and other parties:

Attention Prime Casino.

One of your affiliates will not stop spamming. It just keeps coming in. I have had enough. He's using different names and different email addresses. He even used the name of MY site in his efforts to gain credibility. He also used the name of Platinum Play Casino as the subject line of his emails. His sites are nothing but a direct download for YOUR casino. Help or support links at his sites all start to download the casino.

His sites are:

Your help in stopping this spammer would be appreciated as this matter will escalate further. You can already read about it here:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

I charge that this guy only keeps spamming because:

1. Prime Casino has not yet closed his Affiliate account.
2. The hosts of his sites allow them to remain up even though they have been notified of his continued spamming and trading off the reputations of other sites and businesses.

The above two reasons clearly show that Prime Casino and the hosts of the spammers sites condone his spamming and are happy to give him reason to continue it. That is not a position or stance I would take with my business. I value my good name far more than that.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It seems that having large exposure as well as numerous posts in this forum still does not attract users of this forum to contact me/us directly when an issue of this measure comes up. Please believe me that this is a massive head-ache for us and something we would much prefer to avoid, and in most cases do, by shutting down inconsiderate spammers. However, this case is a little more difficult to contend with as we have no connection to the spammer other than the assumptions made that have got us into this position. That being said, numerous posts have been made suggesting Prime be rogued, yet not one Private Message to myself or any other representative asking for details or comment on the subject at hand.

I will state categorically that we have had nothing to do with the recent spam going out. It has been taken to an extreme level by our "friends" at GoneGambling on removing us from the site, prior to further investigation from themselves, knowing full well that we are doing everything we are able to to find out how we are being connected to this and who is instigating.

Please feel assured that we are doing everything in our power to correct this situation. Again, if you would like to investigate yourself, rather than passing on assumptions, please click the links and inform me personally of any possible connection you may find to Prime.

Further to the above stated, I would like to thank "winbig" again for using just a little brain power in seeing who is actually behind this. On first look, this was immediately apparent to myself, so I can only assume that those passing on rogue suggestions simply cut and paste the ridiculous e-mails without actually looking a little further into the issue.

Again, if there is any issue that you would like to raise, it would be highly appreciated if we were contacted first, via e-mail or this wonderful forum tool and connection device setup by The Meister himself, and asked directly before being slammed. Another example of uninformed users trying to create a hype scene.

I will be happy to update everyone on resolution once we have been able to get to the bottom of this and make responsible those who are. Feel free to PM me for any further questions.

Renaming The Internet

The problem is that there are some spamming affiliates that are hard to detect. They open up an affiliate account at xyz casino and submit a URL that looks legit. Once their aff account is given the thumbs up (most are in a moderation queue) they set their links up on xyz-casino-great-bonus-or-whatever.hk and turn the spam machine on. The only way to combat this is to contact the aff manager with these URLs. In most cases, the aff managers will shut down the affiliate's account. Aff managers CANNOT shut down specific URLs. This is no guarantee that the spammer won't open up another account and continue doing so. It's a problematic and painful situation.

My spam filter (Spam Assasin) nails most of these, and I just hit delete. The delete button is still the best way to deal with these things since spammers will always find a way to get their spam mails to you.

Hey Cindy,

As far as you being an active member of this forum, with strong opinion and insight, it would be a loss to us all if you were to "Shup" ! I do understand your frustration in receiving numerous irritating e-mails that are not caught by your spam assassin. However, I would really appreciate you coming to me, or any one of my team with queries highlighting your frustration and shedding more light on what we can do to make your life a little easier in the spam department. I can assure you we are as frustrated as you are.

I would like to think this situation is now under control and has been dealt with. That being said, please shoot me a mail or PM should this rogue affiliate rear his head again and cause more strife.

Best regards,

Before flying off the handle, please look into how these spammers operate. It's not as simple as it appears to be. Prime Casino does not condone spam whatsoever, and it's unfair to point fingers at them when they are as frustrated as you are.
In all my years gambling online, I don't recall a single spam for Intercasino, 32red or Ladbrokes. So it is possible to be selective about affiliates.

Bryan and Jordan (Prime Casino)

I am more than a little disappointed that neither of you appear to be taking the facts into account. Jordan prefers to muddy the waters and act the victim in this matter instead of addressing the facts. Read again what Jordan has posted. All he has done is talk down to concerned forum members (except for one) about how he wishes they had contacted him before posting.

GoneGambling DID contact Prime Casino at every means possible and GoneGambling is STILL waiting for a response.

Quote: "It has been taken to an extreme level by our "friends" at GoneGambling on removing us from the site, prior to further investigation from themselves, knowing full well that we are doing everything we are able to find out how we are being connected to this and who is instigating."

That really is too much. You are a LIAR Jordan. I am calling you out on your statement. Prime Casino has NOT notified GoneGambling that they are doing everything that they can to find out who is instigating the spam. Prime Casino has NOT informed GoneGambling of anything regarding this matter. Our emails and requests for Prime Casino to do something have been met with a wall of silence. This matter has only escalated to the extent it has because Prime Casino has NOT responded to us. Show us the emails that were sent to GoneGambling Jordan. The emails keeping us in the loop and informing us this was a huge mistake. You just lost all credibility with that statement Jordan.

Fact: GoneGambling is obviously very concerned about this matter and phoned the casino and also sent multiple emails of complaint to numerous addresses at Prime Casino. GoneGambling members did the same. Prime Casino did not react in a timely or responsible manner. For their rep to be on here moaning about not being informed so that he could act, is just a further slap in the face to GoneGambling and concerned members of this forum.

Fact: Bryan, was copied on the original email and several since. Why did Bryan not jump on this matter right away and respond to GoneGambling? Just a response saying that you would talk to the casino about it Bryan would have been enough. You didn't have the courtesy to respond and stop this matter from progressing further. For you to then post flippantly about hitting the delete button on spam shows a total disregard and lack of concern for the value of the GoneGambling name. The fact is that it was use of the GoneGambling name in the emails sent by the spammer that dragged GoneGambling into this in the first place. I have to wonder if you would have been so flippant had it been Casinomeisters name being abused in this way?

As you didn't respond to GoneGambling, and you apparently didn't alert Prime Casino that they should nip this in the bud before it blows up, what were you doing Bryan? You certainly weren't helping either party. Lack of action makes Casinomeister a bit of a toothless watchdog.

Fact: When people moused over the original download link on the spammers sites, the link comes up as Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) No one I know has been crazy enough to actually do the download and I wouldn't expect them to. Gamblingeuroprime.net takes people to this site Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

That is the trail of how this falls squarely in the lap of Prime Casino. Without downloading the casino, that is as far as a normal Internet user can take the matter. The matter was then placed before Prime Casino multiple times by multiple people, and yet Prime Casino FAILED to respond or address the matter. Prime Casino didn't even value their business name enough to respond to some emails to protect it.

If the spammer is not an Affiliate of Prime Casino, the lack of response from the casino shows an ineptness and tardiness from support reaching to the highest levels of management, if it ever made it that far. This in itself should be a red flag to all online gamblers that Prime Casino can't react swiftly to protect its own name and reputation, so how will Prime Casino handle a dispute with a player?

It appears that both Prime Casino and Casinomeister, who were both too tired or slow to act on this matter, are now trying to shift the blame for the escalation of the problem to GoneGambling. If EITHER Prime Casino or Casinomeister had responded at ANY time in the past FIVE days, the matter may not have escalated to the extent it has. Shame on you both for being critical of a mover and shaker like GoneGambling who ONLY expected the best and a timely response from a casino it WAS promoting.

It appears that the involvement of eCOGRA by GoneGambling and its members has forced Prime Casino to now act on this matter.

Mad Weatherman Experiment.

Well, is it Prime, or not...

Only one way to find out:)

Downloaded the installer, checked with AVG, and it appears to be a standard Micrgaming smart installer, not an RTG.

Let's see what it tries to install:-

I think GG are owed an apology, they certainly did their homework, and didn't throw a baseless accusation at Prime Casino.

Clearly, the "thorough investigation" by Prime casino was lacking before they made their defense, that this was nothing to do with Prime affiliates, but that it was a spoof in the same way that GoneGambling was spoofed in the sending of the mails.

The Europrime site is still up & running, even though I have not seen any further spam with the GG spoofed as sender. The other URL was taken down after the complaint from GG. Europrime is a fake landing page, and contains pages lifted from the genuine Prime casino website.

All that is needed to pin down which casino is being spammed is to investigate the installer, preferably on an "old" PC, not the new one:D

As you didn't respond to GoneGambling, and you apparently didn't alert Prime Casino that they should nip this in the bud before it blows up, what were you doing Bryan? You certainly weren't helping either party. Lack of action makes Casinomeister a bit of a toothless watchdog.

Those emails that I was copied on to came in when I was out of town. I may gotten to these on Monday.

When I'm copied on to an email that I have not initiated, I take this as a FYI email - not a "drop what you're doing and do something immediately" email. I figured John just wanted to keep me in the loop. I saw this thread for the first time on Monday as well.

I have a hell of a lot on my plate right now, and I didn't take this as a priority issue. There are enough people in the forum - to include the operator to hash this out. The comments I made on Monday in this thread were made as an explanation on how thise things happen, please don't confuse that with condoning spam mails. Thanks!

I just want to return to this for a moment since there seems to be some misunderstandings here.

Like I mentioned before, I received the copied on to emails late last week and over the weekend. Not a good time to get my attention since I have been swamped since my return from the CAC/Curacao. If I had been asked directly to take a look at the spam problem, I would have done it. If someone would have PAB'd about it - Max would have been on it. To rag on me for not taking action is a bit too much.

I was not being flippant when saying that you can just delete the spam mails. I get spam mails daily from myself touting pharmaceuticals (!?). There isn't much one can do about this since professional spammers move like the wind.

Jordan called me when he saw this thread on Monday - I believe no one had PMd him about this. He is the rep in this forum, not his casino support. That's when my attention was drawn to this, and I explained how some of these spammers work.

I think that to chastise me or this site because we're working on other issues is a little harsh. You have no idea what my workload is at the moment. This is why you have a forum to work some of these issues out. You have a number of very knowledgeable webmasters/players and casino reps to figure out what's going on. Please don't put people on the defensive by getting everyone all riled up. Thanks!

Taking things too far - from every count!

This has gone too far already and any further posts would only further aggravate this situation.

Spam is a frustration, and sometimes unavoidable - and unfortunately this time it was our turn to take the brunt of someone using a popular portal (GoneGambling) name in the subject line of their spam, which was only later connected to us after swift movement by the spammer. This obviously got GG riled up and pissed off, as it does anyone on spam suggestion they need their "member" enlarged or discounted fragrances that attract the opposite sex.

Whether posting in this thread was worth being called a liar, it is yet to be seen. What I do know is that I have more than a couple of e-mails sent from my agent to the highest level at GoneGambling - all without response. I will in turn forward these to The Meister, so he is aware of the false accusation of being called a liar, as well as personally to GoneGambling management, as they may have been caught in their spam filters. This does not remove responsibility for which I have stated the following:

As was previously posted by myself, this situation has been dealt with and there should be no further spam from any direction with any connection to Prime. Again, I cannot guarantee this, but would like to offer any new complaint to be forwarded directly to myself via mail or PM for immediate clarification and rectification.

Right now, resolving a hurt relationship is the top priority. This should never have got to this point, for which I apologize to everyone who has read or been involved here. I hope that we can all learn from this and set up direct communication lines as quick as possible for any reason necessary in the future.

Best regards,

Communication, communication, communication...

After speaking to a more than friendly and helpful GoneGambling management earlier today, the prevailing issue was not the fact that spam had taken place, and even to a certain extant the fact that GoneGambling was mentioned (as terrible as it is for use as credibility), but the fact that communication between casino and affiliate was lacking.

I am sorry to say, as the front line representative of Prime, this getting to the point it did on assumption of communication from one of our agents. It is apparent that e-mail communication was attempted, but on non-receipt by GG, that is where it ended, from both sides, where personal numbers were available to each.

In the 2 batches of spam mail that were sent, the first including GG and the second not. Of the first I cannot find mention of Prime with the limited 1st mailer resources I have available, and everything I see/download points to RTG (I will not specify who). Where in the second instance it was clear and ban of account took place.

This issue is now dealt with, however, on finding further revealing info I will be sure to let everyone know. Any tabs to be taken by affiliate managers starting out - where it is too big to deal with, call your people on the phone in voice, or go to superiors who will do so for you.

Best regards,
