Non-Bonus Complaint Something wrong with Rival Software Five Reel Circus

Dear Members.

I have discovered something wrong with Rival Software.
I play a slot called " 5 reel circus " at Rival Casinos like Black Diamond. And sometimes I play in automatic mode.
According to paytable, when you get 3 or more scatters, the machine go into feature mode and you get 10 free spins.
3 times during play the scatters showed up, twice with 3 scatters and once with 4 scatters, and the machine did not get into feature mode and I got not 10 free spins.
I have been "cheated" of 30 free spins, and the winnings of them.

This is really not a complaint right now, I just want to know if somebody else have had the same experience.

I have contacted support at the casino and I am waiting for an explanation.

But when a slot really not pay according to paytable it is not fair play.

A bug that exposes how the bonus round works. It is NOT a set of random free spins after all, but a "pick" bonus that is then converted into a set of 10 non-random manufactured free spins for "eye candy". This "eye candy" step gets left out by this bug when autoplay is in use, and the "pick" value for the free spins is simply added to the balance.

I do not accept any bullshit they might try telling us that the 10 free spins were played out on the server in the interval between the spin granting the 3 scatters, and the next normal spin generated by autoplay.

I suspect that the "eye candy" is generated by the client from the bonus "pick" value, and that 10 independent free spins are NOT played out. With the bug, the client skips this step of generating 10 free spins to represent the value granted, and simply adds the value.

There is a test that can be done to look for evidence to support this theory, or contradict it.

It would involve looking at internet traffic during a session that includes a bonus round. One run in autoplay, and another in manual.

If the theory is true, a single result return from the server will generate all 10 free spins from the bonus round, but normal play will have one result per requested spin.

In this case it is not really a fault, it is a feature of autoplay vs manual play. Is there a "stop on feature" option in the autoplay?

This can be reproduced on Thunderstruck, where if "stop on bonus" is unchecked, autoplay will play the free spins, and then play on after they have been run. You get to see them if you are looking, but the game does not stop.

If you check the "stop on bonus" box, the game will stop running, and a "play free spins" button will appear.

It is not really something wrong with the software, it is an autoplay configured to stop at nothing, as this makes more money for the casino.

Most players would prefer the option to have the game stop, and hold the bonus round to be enjoyed manually, after all, this is the best part of the game.

Later Microgaming slots stop AFTER the free spins have played out when using autoplay, and I don't like this, as I only see the result rather than having the enjoyment of watching the spins play out.

In this respect, there is also "something wrong" with the newer Microgaming slots.

i played this slot recently and it seemed to work fine although as with all rival slots the rtp seems to have been drastically reduced. the onlyserious bug i am aware of is in METAL DETECTOR where it is possible to get 2 features ie 3 maps and 3 dectectors simultaneously in the same spin but only the free spins are awarded and that deprives you of one feature win.

This is what happens when I play automatic mode: mostly when 3 or more scatters come into window the slot goes to feature mode, and I can se all the free spins. But sometimes the 3 or more scatters come up and the slot goes on like there had been no scatterwins at all. I have not noticed any increasing of my balance when the slot is going on as no scatters apperared.

I have experienced this "bug" too a few times.
The easy way to check this is go into your play history (via the Cashier, History) and look for the free spins.
They are easy to spot because the bet amount will be $0, but they are still shown as 10 separate spins.

I've had this happen in Scary Rich II several times and my balance has not changed. I get three werewolves and nothing happens...it just goes to the next spin. It has happened at a couple different Rivals.

Exactly....I've had this happen maybe 3 or 4 times and they cannot tell me each time that I won $0 in the bonus round betting $1 a spin. My balance never goes up at all when they appear. I don't deposit at ANY Rivals anymore but even in "fun" mode this will happen.

Same thing and more likely if the bonus spins just ended and 3 scatters comes up on the next spin. No bonus spins. I stopped autoplay because of that alone.
