Hi there, good people,
I need your help understanding some casino vernacular.
I am trying to learn how things work in this business, it isn't as easy as you veteran gamblers might think.. :)

first of all: deposit, wager and bet - what is the difference between those terms.. do I wager my deposited money? do I bet it? do I only wager on my bonuses..?

I would also like to know the difference between a withdrawal and a cash out (if there is a difference).

thanks :)

Hi,
If you are using a bonus, you must complete a wagering requirement (WR). This means you must play (20X, 30X, whatever the terms are for the bonus) the bonus plus your deposit so many times.
Example: you deposit $100 and your bonus is a 100% match with a 20X playthrough.
So, you must wager $100 + $100= $200 X 20. You're playthrough would be $4000. You must bet this much before you can claim a withdrawal/cashout.
Each casino has different terms for their bonuses, be sure you read the terms carefully before claiming a bonus. Some of the Rivals will carry over playthrough requirements until the playthrough has been fulfilled. You can always go to live chat and ask them for sure before you decide to use a bonus. Also, some of the casinos have a requirement counter which is a big help in determining how much playthrough you have remaining.
Hope this helps! And good luck!
