I won 1,300 at The Gaming Club (should be expecting a check tomorrow)

So should I deposit there? Or am I being a fool? I deposited Monday and the money went down the drain faster then water.

What should US players do now?

Just hang in tight, you'll be fine. The only casinos that are pulling out of the US market are the publicly traded ones. You can probably expect the Playtech casinos to follow suit soon, and any MG casino that's publicly traded.

As far as I know, many of the MG casinos are in a wait and see mode on how this pans out. Jackpot Factory just made a statement on this. Since MG is not publicly traded, its up to individual casino groups to make the call. Don't forget, the bill is still only a bill.

The Gaming Club is a bellerock casino, and I don't believe they have made a public statement yet. You should be fine there (unless you keep losing :D).

Thanks CM....I love gambling online, now I am going to have to go back to scratching tickets

I do lose quite often

Your money should be safe (save a situation occurs with the specific casino like what happened to BetonSports). The casinos are likely going to stop accepting US players in the near future, but I'd fully expect them to return any deposted funds at that time. They're not being shut down and will continue to be viable in one form or another.

I think thought there may be bonus issues for some when it happens.

That's the thing, it seems that a lot of people are looking at this as though A) the casinos are either being shut down or B) online gambling is illegal in the US - neither is true. US players are just going to have a difficult time (presumably) funding the casinos and casinos funding the player.

You also might not see so many banners for online casinos as well :D

And no more nekkid Golden Palace streakers (at least in the US). Imagine dumbfounded streakers getting rounded up by US marshals for violating "The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006"

The Aussie-based Global Approach group (took over Tusk and the Casino Action venues earlier this year) has also announced it is business as usual until further notice, and that it is monitoring the US situation.

Hey CM what do you think about the casinos giving us US players any birthday cash from now on?? My b'day is Sunday and I was hoping for some nicely wrapped bonus type cash. I'm gonna cry like a two year old if they ignore me cause I won't be around much longer.
