Ok first and foremost I want to say that this is not a complaint but a comparison of a situation that arose on both slotastic and inetbet. I recently played on inetbet and had claimed a deposit bonus and played the real series video slots and noticed my bonus had not been clearing. I contacted inetbet and they told me that i was playing the incorrect game and need to play "Return of rudolph only" I went ahead and played return of return and met all the playthrough req's and then they took all my winnings away which was over $400.00. I was very upset because they had told me to continue playing and I felt as though they stole my money. At this point I am starting to think they really did steal my money because the following happened at Slotastic. Once again I made a deposit and claimed a bonus. I started playing real series slots and after playing for 6 hours I realized my playthrough had not been moving. I looked back at the terms of the bonus and found out I can only get playthrough for playing cleopatras gold. I was upset I had made such a dumb mistake again and contacted support and explained the situation to them. I was hoping they would void my winnings and let me start over from the beginning as Inetbet had done. they told me that although I had been playing the other slot games, since they were in real series category I was fine and had not violated any terms. however i will not be able to complete the bonus unless I play cleopatra. I really hope if I meet the playthrough they actually pay me and I am not wasting my time, however i am led to believe at this point that Inetbet blatantly stole my money and playing the other real series slots was not a violation, hence the reason inetbet allowed me to continue playing and even told me to just go ahead and play "Return of the rudolph". I will go ahead and play cleopatra on slotastic and if I meet playthrough and they pay me out without hassle, I will go ahead and PAB against Inetbet. Anyways, i will see what develops and keep everyone posted. At this point I just want to meet the playthrough req's to find out what the result is. Support just told me that i have not violated any terms at all, and I have a copy of the chat which I have posted below.

sl-pokerdan: I understand I made a mistake, and I am willing to forfeit the money I have won

Natasha: one moment as I seek advisory from my supervisor regarding this matter

sl-pokerdan: ok thanks..

sl-pokerdan: I would like to start over from the beginning of the bonus with my deposit of 25.00 plus the 25.00 bonus and play the correct game, if you will allow and I will be more careful to read the terms more carefully in the future

Well, iNetBet CS indicated that if you carried on playing the correct game, you would be OK. It was only when you cashed out that you found out CS had not been entirely "helpful" in their over-brief reply.

Management at Slotastic may end up overruling what CS told you, and void the winnings when you attempt to withdraw.

In terms of WHICH slot you played though, there is NO advantage in playing the "wrong" one - they are ALL THE SAME apart from the "eye candy" on offer. This is making the rules tighter than they need to be, and is "rules for rules sake", rather than rules designed for a purpose (such as preventing Blackjack, rather than slots, being used to meet WR to the advantage of the player).

If Slotastic DO decide to "let it go" and pay if you make WR on the featured game, even though you have won on games that were not included, it proves that they are a less risky place to play then iNetBet when it comes to players making minor mistakes that do not give them any advantage.

It is a trap casinos have made for themselves. There is no need to make terms complicated purely for the sake of it. They should make sure an extra restriction is NECESSARY to prevent "advantage play", rather than having it there just to make things "more interesting".

"more interesting" can sometimes look like "deliberate intention to set trap" from the players' point of view.

We need to get back to basics, get the terms as simple as possible, and accept that slots are slots, and it doesn't matter WHICH ones are played with a slots bonus, they are all RANDOM, and DON'T "save up losses to make a balancing payout in the end" as quite a few players believe.

Where there is no logic in a rule, players will look for a reason WHY the rule has been considered NECESSARY. In the case of RTG, one might think that they offer a slots bonus, and restrict it to ONLY the slots they have set down to 91% the day before:rolleyes: This rule then becomes LOGICAL, because playing the slots NOT set to 91% with it DOES give the player an advantage, which would constitute "advantage play".

Recently, someone appeared to question my statement that "some casinos are now restricting which slots can be played with a slots bonus".

Well, here is the PROOF of this, and it is quite common in some casinos.

iNetBet frequently offer slots bonuses that can ONLY be used on a small number of slots, rather than all of them, and even go as far as to confiscate winnings from play on the others, rather than just letting it not count towards playthrough.

The worst I have seen with Microgaming is to ban PROGRESSIVE slots from being played with a slots bonus. This was the norm at 32Red for many years.

Very good reply! I understand what your saying and it is possible that what customer service says will differ from payout processing. I just submitted a withdrawal after meeting the playthrough requirements, and will wait and see what happens now. It says pending and it is up to them what they decide. However, as customer service has said, "I have not violated any terms of the bonus" Just talked to Natasha again and I am a little worried LOL.. the conversation is below. I will find out tomorrow what happens but i will not be surprised to have my winnings taken away again. But I hope slotastic would not lead me in the wrong direction as did Inetbet, especially since she assured me i would get paid, which I never validated with Inetbet when i continued to play. Regardless, if they choose not to pay me after the initial conversation with support I will be very sad :(

Firstly pokerdan, I have been a paying customer at both of these casinos.
And it has been my experience that both of them should be catogorized under the; "we don't want you to win" heading.

I was upset I had made such a dumb mistake again..
Not a dumb mistake but these t&c are made to trap anyone who accpets them. I disagree with what vinylweatherman says.

I will go ahead and PAB against Inetbet.
Damned overdue, iNetBet especially have been doing this tricky bonus behaviour for so long. 'Bout time someone made a stand.

Well, slotastic paid me out very quickly and never once tried to scam me. They even said once again that by playing the real series slot games was not a violation simply because I played a game that did not count towards playthrough. I will most likely go ahead and PAB against INETBET because now I know they really screwed me over. It is also very different if you go and play video poker or blackjack as compared to the usual slot games. Nonethless INETBET said the same thing when i first told them I was not getting credit for my playthrough, and they simply told me to go play the correct game, and then upon cashout confiscated my winnings.

Very happy with slotastic right now.

As I mentioned in your thread about inetbet, i did the exact same thing, playing the exact same bonus. I lost a substantial amount of money, because i played a game not covered by the bonus terms.

Afterwards, i played at jackpot capital, asked about their practice regarding play on "the wrong slots game" and was given a response similiar to your response.

So, i thought, i won't play any longer at inetbet-but quickly remembered that inet's processes payouts within 24 hours, that there is no limit to payouts, and that their bonus terms are 20x instead of 30x, which is superior to the practices at jackpot capital casinos.

Even though i was upset because my winnings were forfeited at inetbet, i believe that they implement their terms consistently amongst all players.
Jackpot Capital appears to also administer their terms consitently amongst all players. Because they apply the terms differently, in my opinion is not grounds for a PAB.

Of course, i am not the expert. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Fair enough, but at least here you are still in a position to get this IN WRITING from them BEFORE you go ahead and play the "right slots" to meet WR.

If you get in writing that you CAN go ahead and play the included games, even though you have played some that don't count, rather than have your account reset, or bonus and winnings cancelled, you have something to PAB about if they renege, and hard WRITTEN evidence that you were firstly told it was all OK.

You DIDN'T get this level of clarity from iNetBet, and it seems they are arguing that you "misunderstood" CS when you thought they meant it was OK to carry on with the right game, rather than have the account reset to where you started.
