Has anyone tried this? I played it for 9 tournaments over 3 days so that's 18 battles in total.

And achieved 3 free spins at 10p.

I guess Sky Vegas noticed the popularity of Videoslots free roll battles and decided they would have a go

Pretty safe to say it doesn't compare to Videoslots Battle Of The Slots, even after its nuclear nerf.

I don't like how other players can attack you and steal all your points also. Interested to see what others think of this?

I guess Sky Vegas are way more popular so they cant hand out as much rewards as Videoslots.
But it seems you need an absolute miracle to get anything half decent in Reel Rivals

My opinion is that its Reel BS.

Looks like it’s the same type of thing Ladbrokes have been doing for a while. It’s alright. Never win anything.

SkyVegas I think they use IA no way to win more than 3-5 spins even on their daily free reward, Party casino had a great free tournament you can win £500 £250 £100, or Free spins, I won 3 times different prizes £250 £100 and 500 free spins, now they change to free spins only lol... almost all UK casinos they stop free rewards, or you get offers with deposit, like free 100 spins on £0.05 £0.10 per spins if you make deposit £100 on 40x wagering
P.s
Skyvegas they have many slots on £0.30 min spin, so they remove 10p and 20p a spin

As @thr0b mentions - exactly the same HungryBear "SlotMasters" product that Ladbrokes uses, and Mecca tried and binned last year.

SkyVegas seems to be following the Ladbrokes model, with a modest prize pool (around £200 a tournament) spread incredibly thin - top prizes of £10, £7.50 and £5 in free spins, with over 5000 places paid in the afternoon and evening tournaments.

I did follow the Mecca one last year - the benefit of significantly more money (around 5x) and a much smaller field (around 2000 players at peak) meant it was usually good for £20 a week of free spins. In this configuration, you are probably looking at an hour of tilt for a fiver per week...

TL;DR - frustrating, unstable, infested with bots and cheaters and the only thing saving it is being free-to-play... and that's only if the prize pool is worth having!
