I am starting to play skill games more myself, and was wondering what sites have some great skill games to play I have only been playing the ones at jackpotjoy. I also want to add a few more skill games to my site so good skill game sites would be appreciated. I find skill games and poker to be my favourite now, originally I loved online slots.

I know over repeated myself there just checked it out lol that was a serious question there though so if anyone could help that would be great?

all casinos have skill games. skill games like grilling the chat operator to make sure you've got all your bonus details right. skill games like having the strength to withdraw rather than haemorrhage your money all back to them.

Scratch Cards: Prime Scratch Cards,Scratch2Cash

Backgammon: Play65, Red Hot Rummy,Game Account.

I havent played the scratch cards yet can someone explain to me how this is a skill game what skill is involved with scratching a card

Skill required: Backgammon, Poker (against other real players), Rock Paper Scissors (lol), Single Deck Blackjack

No-Skill (but patience) required: Slots, Table games (although you can reduce house edge by playing correctly), Keno, Scratch Cards

hi there

we have a large variety of skill games at bwin, from black jack duells to tetris like games, a funny motocross game etc. (I like the motocross game "dirt bike" the most) - and you really need skill, because you never play against the house but vs. other players.

if you want to try them - you are very welcome.

best regards

benjamin

Casinomeister is partnering up with some of the skill gaming coming out of the wake of the UIGEA
Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) which is a traditional shoot-em-up violent as hell kill-the-enemy (your opponents) sort of games. Fantastic graphics - you can win real cash prizes - they take credit cards and Paypal.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
is a relatively new site - they are accredited here at Casinomeister. US players can use credit cards etc., since they are 100% legit (except for some states - please check).

Another Poker based skill game site will be coming on board this fall - I'll keep you posted on this.

What sort of skill games do you mean. I say Poker takes a lot of skill and is fun.
But there are online sites that have skill games and tournaments for games like blackjack and variants of solitaire and such like games with also sometimes free tournaments as well.

Agreed but in a court of law poker is a game of chance. The site Meister alludes to above do it in a different way: players in the same positions at different tables are dealt the same cards and its the one who does the best with those cards goes through if I understand it right. So you are "competing" not only against players on your table, but the other players in your "seat" at other tables. Clever if you ask me and opens up all sorts of ideas for other games IMO.

Most people would agree that Poker is a skill game, especially poker players. BUT the US legislation (and most prohibitive legislation) consider Poker a form of gambling since skill gaming is based on the "game" not on the players. It's the poker players who are skilled - skill has nothing to do with the game itself.

Games of skill are not affected by the anti-gambling laws in the States by the way. This is why many are based in the US/Canada and are able to freely accept credit card/Paypal transactions.

Games of chance (gambling) must have three elements: consideration (exchange of money handed over specifically for the opportunity to gamble and win a prize), chance (random number generators, spin of roulette wheel, draw of the card, etc.), and prize (anything of $$ value). Once you start removing these elements from the equation, you start getting closer to skill gaming.

PS: I'm not a lawyer nor am I giving "legal" advice. Consult a lawyer for that.

Just signed up to bwin good site some interesting skill games. Being playing rugby hero at jackpotjoy that gme is pretty good seem to win alot there as long as I am careful. Skill games though do take ages unless making big bets to win any good money.

Bwin is pretty good and uses GamArena games via Jadestone. GameAccount in the UK has also just signed up the Stan James site for its suite of skill games and network.

Here's another new one for you:

SKILLGROUND DEBUTS

Real video games for free play or for cash prizes

Toronto-based Groove Media Inc. is perhaps better known for a range of quality "shoot 'em up" video games but with the launch of its new SkillGround.com subsidiary it has entered the competitive arena of skill gaming this week, offering a range of games for free download and competitive play in pursuit of cash prizes.

There are currently four retail-quality titles to choose from - LA Street Racer, Kung Fu: Deadly Arts, tactical military shooter Close Quarters Conflict and sci-fi themed FPS WarPath. A fifth title - Ultimate Tour Golf - will be released later this year.

SkillGround md Michael Haines says that each game has a tutorial and practice mode to ease players into competition through single player score based games before going into head-to-head and multiplayer competitions for hard cash.

SkillGround is aimed at PC gamers of all skill levels and uses a proprietary skill ranking and leaderboard system designed to ensure players are fairly matched in terms of skill levels and have an equitable chance of winning. Game play is available in several modes besides tutorial and practice: one-on-one, single player, deathmatch Teamplay for up to eight players, score-based games and progressive tournaments.

Beta testing on the software has been extensive, with some 15 000 players putting the games through the wringer over 200 000 or more gaming sessions.

The skill-matching system makes score-based games fun and fair for veteran gamers and beginners alike, says Jon Walsh, CEO of Groove Media. It's never been easier to play video games online for cash prizes. Our unique score-based game system allows players to log onto SkillGround.com anytime day or night and try to post a high score in a variety of different tournaments or events.

Established in 2001 and headquartered in Toronto with offices in Dublin, Ireland, Groove is a global publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software that has published more than 20 retail game titles on the PC, Xbox and PlayStation2 platforms.

The biggest in skill games are king.com, they also have the largest community and plenty of different games, think they have 80 different games now. You should definitely try them if you haven't already.

Unibet has the Gamarena skill games like bwin does.
