I know some of you over 40 can remember and relate to the good old days before cable and the internet , we had a show on TV Welcome Back Kotter which gave us some great stars that you younger folks may know, well we have lost a star , Robert Hegyes .

If any of you that have never checked this sitcom out , you need to do so , this was a great time , man you can't beat being a child of the 70's and I so miss that era , the music was better and so were the shows on TV.

Dear Mr Kotter,

Please excuse Juan today , he has gone on to a better place.

Signed,

Epsteins Mother

MASH was great and the cast and writers were outstanding, you just can't find really good shows anymore like we had during the 70's and 80's , I can say I've seen every rerun of a MASH show atleast 3 or 4 times.

Welcome Back Kotter sure did give John Travolta his big break as well as others , it was just a good show in general.

Hill St.Blues, Moonlighting, Dallas (who shot J.R. generated more media coverage than I have ever seen for a fictional T.V. programme lol), they were the shows I would never miss, MASH is a damn hard act to follow but I personally think Scrubs is very close, slick scripts and an environment not suited for comedy, but still has those tear-jerking heart warming moments.

Sorry for the slight derail.

/respect.
