Should casinos be given a choice to hide rtp and choose rtp?

Hello,

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this thread earlier I just spotted it.

All games at SlotsMillion are configured with the highest possible RTP - when the RTP can be changed.

It is actually the RTP chosen by default and providers don't usually ask us if we want to change them - although they mention they can do it if we request it.

I believe there was a misunderstanding with the CS agent:

During the chat you will see the agent mentions the average RTP being at 96.21%. I understand from this conversation that you wanted the theoretical RTP and the agent answered with the empirical RTP on SlotsMillion (which is the one that, as per regulation, we have to provide to our players upon request) although none of you specified which RTP you were referring too, hence the misunderstanding. This answer was given to you immediately when you asked. Since you were questioning this RTP the agent told you he would ask to the Game Department about it.

The empirical RTP is obviously fluctuating (it was for 98,09% in November, 95.91% in December...)
As stated in the email you received, so far in 2018 the RTP was at 94.94%.

We are contacting our game providers (and Play'n GO in particular) to make sure there is no custom RTP rule set for any game. Just like Rizk, that is a point of policy for us.

Regards

Edit:
- I just got confirmation that the highest RTP is configured for our Play'n GO games. In particular, the highest RTP configuration for Book of Dead is the 96,21% one, which is the one that has been given by the agent on the chat. (I thought this RTP was empirical but the agent confirms he understood you meant theoretical)

Sneaky is much more of a polite word than im thinking tbh.
it's like walkin into a casino, sitting down at roulette and not being made aware that there is a 20% random chance on every spin that suddenly during the spin the wheel activates a mechanism where lights flash and music rolls, the table shakes and opens up from the middle and introduces another 5 numbers to the wheel.
The only real difference being that you would hardly get to see anything nearly as exciting with these slot games while playing on a lower rtp.

Disgusting behavior. But hey, where there's money to be made....

With that said i probably best go get some cigs before i attack anyone who might dare look at me :)

Are you able to figure out why the rtp is displayed on some but not others? And out of the ones I have come across that has the lowest settings are the ones where it isnt given in the '?' section. I find it strange some are added and some arent and that the ones that are showing are all 96.21 models.

Also, my comment about reporting it to the UKGC etc wasnt just implied towards you, it is being sent about the casinos that are using the lower model but not displaying it

Thanks.

Thanks for that. So it must mean its a licensing thing and some casinos just choose whether they display it to all. Take for example leovegas. I can see it is 96.21 but then I got to casino cruise it is not there and I ask and they say its the 94% setting, same with vegas hero, spinit and a few others.

I am curious if you know the answer to this, is it possible that there are different rtp setting per country? What I am getting at is it possible that for UK players the rtp setting is at the highest but for non UK members it can be set lower? Or is just one model across your site that is offered to everyone? Im assuming its just one model but thought I would ask anyways.

Thanks.

In regards to your casino, it just seems to be a coincidence that I asked what the factory rtp was and it was running right around the lower setting which made for confusion.

Hello,

To my knowledge the settings cannot be different by country, although they can be by setup. The setup is different by jurisdiction (different servers and game configuration since the UKGC requires lots of additional features, like for Responsible Gaming) so UK is different from MGA. Although I believe (will confirm tomorrow with our game manager) that a casino could use the UK setup for the rest of the world since it is also compliant with MGA directives. If I’m right it would indicate that the games LV displays are on the UK setup.

I’ll confirm this and update you.

Regards

As far as I can see, as a UK player. The RTP is back to being displayed in the helpfiles for the 94% version.

There is an easy way to check though, since the different RTP's are different versions of the games.
If you look at the address of the helpfile window. It shows which version of the game you're playing.

For Book of Dead...
mltcw.playngonetwork.com/casino/gamehelp?pid=238&gameid=310&lang=en_GB&brand=&jurisdiction=GB&currency=GBP

pid=238 is the 94.% RTP
pid=118 is the 96% RTP

I would assume that if you find a number other than 238 or 118 then that'll be the very lowest setting, whatever it is (92% ???)

How about:
pid=200 (Rizk) ?
pid=143 (Guts) ?

Seems each has its own. Maybe smaller for higher RTP? But then Rizk said its the highest.
My guess is that others don't care and UKGC has other priorities ("free" ban, your grandpa's will.....).
UKGC may or may not know what TRTP is, sure thing is they don't force TRTP to appear in help file or paytable. I bet Play n Go saw the opportunity and probably advertises the option to hide a lower TRTP.

If you want to say what you think about that to UKGC, here is a link (I don't know if it has been mentioned in another thread)

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

The pid numbers I mentioned are the UK versions from this server - mltcw.playngonetwork.com
Obviously being in the UK, I can only see UK versions, so can't really comment on any others.

But considering Guts and Rizk are on the same platform, you would expect the product ID to be the same (for your particular country)
Are either of the Helpfiles displaying the RTP?
I don't play at Rizk or Guts, so I can't check to see if the UK versions are the same there.

I just replied to another thread which I thought was this one.

Excellent points well made and yes it's complete BS that providers can provide multiple RTP versions of the same game.

I'm going to put some thought into how we can shine more of a light on this

But for now.....boo + hiss @ any provider doing multiple RTP versions of their games. Anti player BS.

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for all of your engagement in this case.

First of all, we want to state that the RTP was already showing to UK players according to the UKGC.

Furthermore, we have now also contacted Play N Go to activate this for all other players at Thrills. It should take no more than 24 hours before it is visible to everyone, logged in or logged out.

We also want to assure you that we greatly appreciate your feedback and always take this into account when we make a decision. :)

We at Thrills wish you all a very good day forward and a THRILLING weekend.

Thrills rep.

Hi there, people!

We hope you are all doing good, and as the Thrills rep, we also wish to clarify.

The RTP has also been activated for Play N Go machines at Guts Casino. This will be visible for all players across the world at the end of tomorrow 23rd February.

And as stated above, it was also already visible for our UK players.

Have a great day everyone!

Your Guts Casinomeister team.

So Im pretty dense when it comes to RTP. I play at Crazy Vegas outside of VS. Their RTP is not showing on any of their games. My game time is brutal as with VS ( I just have shite luck) I went on chat just now, and asked why theirs werent showing, she couldnt answer but did say my overall RTP is 70%. That is awfully low isn't it?

Good morning,

Thank you for your question.

Play’n GO games should be available for Canadian players. Note that some of the games are not available for a mobile device, unfortunately.

If the issue persists, please, send us a PM with your details in it so we can have a better look with the casino team.

I hope you have a wonderful day and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,

Your Guts Casinomeister Team

Maybe you should read his question again because that is not what he asked about.
I believe the games play in another currency than what he is using.
