Question Session Limits; Why are these applied so differently?

Hi! Sorry if this is misplaced or anything, I'm abit of a newbie here and have never had trouble with a casino before, but my last experience with an MGA licenced casino has had me doubting my own intelligence/understanding!

I had won a fair amount, so to just make sure I did not get carried away I set a 1 hr session limit. It said session limit, 1 HrsDaily as I set it.

When I later realized I never got logged out even after setting this limit I contacted chat to see how this limit worked. I first googled and got multiple different results ranging from this meaning 1hr of log in activity then 23 hrs of not being able to log in at all, to this simply being a reminder that you had played for one hour.

My question was; I set a session limit to 1 hr. How does this work? Is it 1 hr of play in 24 hrs?
The answer I got was "please notice that the time limit is every 24 hrs" and "As I see in the system, the limit was set today, you set a daily time limit of 3600 seconds".

I thought these answers were pretty clear, that they meant I could play 1 hr, then not play for 23 hrs. This was apparently not the case. This limit only meant I would get logged out after 1 hr only to be able to log in right away after. This fact was never communicated. According to the casino this is self explanatory by its name and needs no further explanation.

When I asked for further explanation in relations to the answers I got from chat this happened, apparently this is how I should have read the communication through chat according to their representative;
"please notice that the time limit is every 24 hrs" = the session time limit through every 24 hours period is the amount you set in your session limit. The "every 24 hrs" term there is used to quantify a day having 24 hours every time.

To sustain that, the session limits are even set in seconds as clearly explained here too: "As I see in the system, the limit was set today, you set a daily time limit of 3600 seconds".

I don't get it! Do I really need to be told that a day has 24 hrs in it every time? Seriously? Is this not a given?
What is the point with setting a session time limit to 1 HrsDaily, if this means an unlimited amount of sessions?

I am honestly really confused here and I'm just wondering if there are guidelines to this?
