Here's a bit of a bugger on the Bruce Lee clone 'Fortunes of the Caribbean'.

I've got all four symbols matched on reels 1 and 2 (not bad symbols either), and I've two out of the three shell scatters on reels 3-4-5, all three of them would have triggered the uber-rare 20 free spins bonus round where you're basically talking 1000x stake minimum.

Instead I got the crappy 5 free spins round for getting the matched symbols on 1+2, and it retriggered, and it still only paid 10x stake

Extra annoying was it retriggered on the very first spin, which it does by chucking in all three shells on 3-4-5, which is what I needed the spin before to get the 20 free spins round.

Seriously man, check out the Wizard of Oz and Ruby Slippers WMS slots, they have a Shitstorm feature that pays decent amounts fairly regularly.

Now admittedly the 'big hits' on that aren't anything like what IR/TS2 are capable of, but at least you won't be left feeling like you've been anally violated by a medium sized family car.

I just hate the insane high variance profile that MG have adopted for their recent slots, especially since they tend to combine it with flashy sound and light shows that seem to be designed to distract you from what's actually happening cash wise.

It still paid 45.- on a 0.54 spin, the pay for 4 Saphires with wild.
Any high paying symbol at the last reel would have been nice though..

I have never seen 5 wilds either, but since neither 5 or 4 wilds wilds are in the paytable, the highest possible pay is rewarded, hence 4 wilds would replace 4 stones, to award the highest possible win (4 stones and a wild).

I'm enjoying the random wild feature on this WOZ slot compared to Immortal Romance. I actually look forward to seeing Glinda pop up in her little bubble whereas I try not to watch the feature on IR. I've had some pretty good wins already thanks to Glinda but I've also had some real stinkers

Oh yes the wild feature on Oz (and Ruby Slippers) is massively better than on IR+clones, the pays are far more modest and the max hit is nothing like IR is capable of - but you'll see some nice wins on a regular basis.
