Pozdrav svima, imam pitanje o RTP-u u online kockarnicama. Kontaktirao sam korisničku podršku i pitao koliki je RTP za tu određenu igru (na igri piše da je 95,74%)..I am awear that is very possible to have very bad resolutes at one pooint but this was all time. Anyway support told me that on that day daily casino Rtp on all games together was 81.46%.I.am.now confused so my question is what is daily casino Rtp and is that means that Rtp on that specific game of 95.74% does not count? Sorry for my English is not that good hope that you will understand my question.

[Hello everyone, I have a question about RTP in online casinos. As far as I understand, each game has its own RTP. I played in an online casino and for 2 months this game that I like to play and that my favorite worked very "strange". I mean, you couldn't guess anything, and on the first 100 spins every 98 spins was completely dead. I contacted customer support and asked what the RTP was for that particular game (the game says it's 95.74%)]

Hello, thank you.I apologies and will do so in future.
Kindly regards

98 dead spins in a row is super rare.
what game were u playing? @astrid2212
5 dazzling hot Amusnet. That happened before few days. But in last 2 months that game gives nothing on first 50 spins, nothing, and that happens all the time. But regardless of very bad resolutes I do not understand what casino means with daily 81.46% casino rtp? What is that?

First 98 spins dead, take a break or play a different game

RTP is based of math of very large numbers X by powers of trillions upon trillions ; not 97 out of 100

I understand what RTP means and that it is based on a huge number of spins. Perhaps I didn't quite phrase my question correctly regarding what I'm actually interested in. So, the RTP for one game might be 97%, for another 95%, for a third 96%, and so on. Customer service replied to me saying, "The total RTP for casino games as of today is 81.46%." So I would like if someone can explain to me what is this? I do not understand what customer support mean with that as every game has its own RTP.

Getting 97 dead spins in a row would be close to impossible even in games like DOA 2, he probably just ran into a rough stretch of spins.

You don't need trillions of spins for actual RTP to converge with theoretical RTP. Trillions of spins are needed to calculate RTP accurate to two decimal places.

RTP - Return to player percentage

Casinos can choose the win % which can be measured in %RTP (Return to player); this is a part of the programming and is Set on the backend of the game - and is rarely adjusted,

It’s basically your chance of winning, higher the number; the better the chance of winning (not losing!)

Play the machine with the highest % for best odds,

As I said in first message , this is calculated by arm of statistical mathematics and use the “laws of very large numbers”

Only way to be really sure you get close ro these % is to play longer than lifetimes !

So if each spin is $1; and one spin takes 1 second , and you are able to sit and play a round of a 1x 10^28 spins

First machine is RTP 50%, After 1x 10^28 spins, you have lost half your bank roll

second machine is RTP 84.1% After 1x 10^28 spins, you have lost 15.9% of u your bank roll

First machine is RTP 94.7After 1x 10^28 spins, you have spent 5.3% of your bank roll

Remember this is based of the law of Large numbers
1x10^28 seconds will be 317 Quintillion years (Each session is 23 Billion times the Lifetime of our Universe)

In roulette, betting red or black, it takes 38,388 spins to pin the advertised RTP down to within one percentage point, and 3,838,794 spins to get it to within 0.1. So in theory that's something you could actually play out in a lifetime :)

Slots are a different story. Getting to 0.1 of a point there takes anywhere from tens of millions to tens of billions of rounds depending on volatility, which is much closer to the truth.

So play with bonuses and cashback, and grab as much extra promo money as you can.

I tended to agree with you until just now.

I was meaning to reply earlier to say that I played Novomatic's Sultan Strike Hold & Win last weekend and got 50 dead spins in a row. Not one connection, not one cent returned. I spin at 0.20 and have a hard limit of 10.00 per game I play.

Anyway fast forward to tonight, I played the very same game, at the same casino, and on the same stake with my limit. I was floored to get another 50 dead spins in a row on this game. So that is 100 dead spins, in a row, over two sessions.

Because I always play at 0.20 with a limit of 10.00, I notice when I do have a run like this (50 dead spins in a row), and it does happen from time to time. But not often. Never had 100 in a row though before tonight.

This slot is definitely in my banned forever bucket now ffs.

I.am.now confused so my question is what is daily casino Rtp

It means the combined actual RTP for all casino play during that day. In other words: (total amount won by players / total amount wagered by players) × 100. It seems that day was pretty rough for players.

RTP - Return to player percentage

...

It’s basically your chance of winning.

Well, technically, not quite. RTP and the chance/odds of winning are different concepts. As an simple example:

Game A pays $2 on 50% of bets. RTP: 100%.
Game B pays $1.80 on 50% of bets. RTP: 90%.

In both games, the chance of a winning bet is the same, while the RTP differs. But yeah, I get what you mean - in the long run, a higher RTP gives you better odds overall.

That assumes an unlimited balance. With a finite bankroll you would eventually reach zero in all three cases. The difference is how quickly this would happen on average.

If it's not too much trouble, please request the transaction history with 100 spins in a row showing zeros instead of wins. This is really improbable, thanks, for classic slots, where there are very often wins smaller than the bet.

I cannot seem to download my bet history so here are screenshots instead. As I mentioned above, this was 2 x 50 spins over two sessions (dates) and I didn't play the game in between these dates.

This is from the one with the numbers.

Thanks, I'll take a look at how the slot works. In the demo, I immediately hit 20 dead spins in a row. Slots don't usually behave like that.

I had previously hit a 345x on this slot so it has the potential to pay something. Just not that often…
Looks like the slot has a hit rate of around 3%. First time I've seen a slot like this, that kind of distribution I've only seen in arcade-style games before. In those, by the way, you can actually see tens of thousands of dead spins in a row. Spire+ on its hardest mode, for example.

Daily casino RTP is just an aggregate of every bet across every game that day - it says nothing about your specific game. What matters is that the game's own RTP (95.74%) is set by the provider and the casino can't change it per player. 5 Dazzling Hot is a flat classic though - low variance but it can still go ice cold for 100+ spins, that's just Amusnet being Amusnet. Have you tried checking the same game at another casino to compare?

No I have not. I think I will not play online anymore. I did have before that one experience which I do not understand very well.I was playing Egt Digital Bell Link games in same casino and did win 600 euros. After that went to another casino all Bell Link games did not get anything but really anything not even a fun. Then tried in third casino also nothing. I lost money in few minutes and then in 4. casino same.I do understand that I will not win every time but not even having fun in 4 casinos after I won some in one casino? So no I did not tried 5 dazzling hot in another casino and think I will not play online anymore after this 2 experience because I do not think it is random game.

That Bell Link run across 4 casinos is rough, I get the frustration - but that pattern is actually classic for that game family: Bell Link jackpot games are brutal once the jackpot was just hit, and cold streaks follow you across casinos because it's the same provider math driving all of them. It genuinely is random, just nastily streaky. If you do give it one more shot sometime, maybe test 5 Dazzling Hot somewhere else first just to see the difference - no big balance needed. Either way, taking a break after a run like that is never a bad call.

Yes this Bell Link games I did also have feeling they are following me through casinos. And usually when I play 5 dazzling hot I play it form 0.60-1 euro pro spin maximal. Today I tried to play that game one more time but in different casini than first time.I started with 0.80 euro spin nothing then I put it on 1.20 nothing and then I was enough and said I will play 3 euro pro spin.I have on account 50 euros left and I thought it will last 20 more spins and that's it.But on third spin game did hit 5 sevens so I won 3000 euros.

Hey, so you were right, though I had reason to doubt you. On a normal slot this would be close to impossible. This slot is not normal. 95.4% of spins here are dead and pay nothing at all.

I collected 1M spins on the demo and here is what came out:

1. Longest dead streak: 246 spins in a row.
2. 100 dead spins in a row happens once every 2,336 spins. It came up 428 times across the million, so it is not a freak event.
3. Max win: 1015x
4. RTP: 92.29% ± 2.3%
5. Jackpots hold 34.6 points of that RTP. Grand hit 5 times in 1M spins.
6. Bonus game triggers 1 in 67 spins.
7. Wins above 100x come 1 in 441 spins.

Turned out interesting, I think I will write a proper post about it. If you have any questions about this slot just ask. I can work out things like the odds of turning a 10 deposit into 20, or into 100. I am collecting a few more million so the numbers get tighter.

@Casinos Hate Winners - How did you simulate 1 million spins on the demo, and how did you capture the results of the 1 million spins?

I figured that you didn't believe me initially, and I probably would have been the same. When I was taking screenshots of my bet history on 500 to post here, I was afraid that I might have missed a very small win on the second lot of 50 spins, but sadly no.

I wrote a script that played the demo and recorded every result. I ran 8 of them in parallel to speed it up. So these are real spins, 1M of them in 13 hours.

No browser playing the game. The script talked to the server directly, sending the requests and reading the responses.

The reason I did not believe you straight away is that I have data on more than 1000 slots, and this is the first one like it in my collection.

I take it you are connected to the industry in some form? If so, I assume you will be going to SBC later this month given you are in Lisbon? My girlfriend is in the industry and I'll be accompanying her at SBC for one of the days - should be interesting.

Turns out I ended up with the 89.99% RTP version, and the best I could find online is this 92.49% one. Do you happen to know who has a version of the game with a higher RTP? And which version were you playing?

I'm not sure maths like this would be permitted in the UK. Some of the Novos are bad enough, but those EGT and Amusnet games have an insanely volatile base game and aren't licensed here, good job an' all.

You get a high average win, your success on them depends when you hit it - early, or when you've been rodgered. This type of game maths is pernicious in that it encourages longer periods of play, where players realize that after tens of consecutive deads they will likely get a chunk of it back when the saved-up 100x or whatever lands.

These games should have 0.10 max stakes on them IMO.

Actually, according to research, slots where you win often but small amounts are more addictive. Though of course the market is huge and different mechanics all have a right to exist.

Yeah it was the 94% version on 500.com
I checked around 15 demos and every single one showed 90 or 92 RTP. And the RTP is only visible in one specific place, or maybe I just missed it. Anyway, for the sake of the experiment I'll go collect another version with 94 RTP, though obviously that one will have long streaks of dead spins too.

By the way, why do you play a slot with such a low RTP? Are you one of those people who thinks RTP doesn't really matter?

This is a very good question. One of the many reasons I play offshore crypto casinos is to access max RTP slots. I believe that RTP does matter.

Unfortunately I’ve been going through a very lean patch in terms of wins lately and decided to venture into slots I don’t normally play, and some of the Novos caught my eye (at their max of 94.x%). I’ve had some decent play time as I generally find them lower volatility. I would never play a slot somewhere that is set to less than max RTP though.

Today I decided to deposit $50 to do some $0.20 spins hoping that it would last me at least a couple of hours. I played five different new releases, all 96+%, for $10 each (my usual approach). My balance only lasted a hour, 300 spins max, no bonuses, and a maximum win of 12x (the other slots paid a max of 2x, 2x, 1x, and 6x).

So I’m generally a bit lost and a bit disillusion with slotting at the moment. I’m just glad I’m not one to try to chase my losses.

If you want to play for longer, it makes sense to pick slots with minimal volatility, like Starburst from NetEnt. Good life hack, on their site, in the description of every slot, NetEnt, No Limit, Red Tiger and BTG, there's a volatility value listed. For comparison, Starburst has a volatility of 3.1, while that slot where you had 100 dead spins has a volatility of 11.7.

You can also check the hit rate. The higher it is, the longer you'll get to play.

Yeah I get all this but I also like to play games that interest me and Starburst just doesn’t do it. Red Tiger is a hard pass for me as they are insanely hard to bonus in my experience.

BWB is also a good source of this info although their volatility scale goes from low to high - no numbers are given though.

I’m usually a pretty jammy player but I’m going through a rough patch at the moment. I did get two first spin bonuses in my session today though.

Yeah, I get it, sometimes you just want to play your favorite slots even when there are better options out there. Bonus game frequency varies from slot to slot. But even when it's the same, say 1 in 150, you still get streaks where you go 300 spins in a row without hitting it. That actually happens about 13.44% of the time. Unfortunately, that kind of info is rarely published anywhere either.

@Casinos Hate Winners - I just played the new Novomatic slot called Fire Diamond, with extra bet off. Had exactly 50 dead spins in a row. My 51st spin finally hit something and returned a mighty 0.2x. You might like to check it out.

I'm now done with Novomatics. For a while they played well for me but I ain't putting my hand in that fire again.

I no longer have any doubt they've got slots with a 3% hit rate 😄 By the way, I scraped the data for the 94% RTP version of the slot! How do you think they lower the RTP?

a) Small wins (up to 100x) become less frequent
b) Big wins (500x+) become less frequent
c) The bonus game triggers less often
d) Bonus game payouts get smaller
e) They tune the RNG to a target RTP
f) RTP is nonsense anyway — it's all about luck
