I always saw this as a red flag. Jackpot, Inbet, Club World now etc. Joining the ranks of the The Virtual Group. Bodog and Intertops rarely utilize this approach.

what are we talking about here?

I signed up for all the club world casinos. they each send me 1-2 promotional emails a week advertising their latest bonus offers, etc. Since I belong to 6 CW casinos, this means i can receive up to 10 emails a week, but this doesn't seem egregious to me; most importantly, I could unsubscribe at any time.

If you're experiencing something more excessive than this, please share.

Actually, my opinion is that these groups arent doing enough marketing. They should also make more use of the mailbox located at the casinos. I think its unfair to lump them with ...ughhh Virtual of all places.

I know what Dave is talking about. I am getting spam email to my yahoo account which I have never used for CW casinos with signup offers. They are not from CW. It was from some guy and when you clicked on it, an affiliate page opened up with a $60 free chip offer to High Noon.

I was going to send it to Tom and complain but just decided to trash it. I have received several more to yahoo account and some in AOL account.

I think it's affiliates trying to recoup losses myself. CW doesn't send my anything like what I am getting and the only email I use for them is Gmail.

And that's my opinion, too.

I third it:D I think part of it is affiliates but you also have to realize that if you sign up at all of them you are going to get all of the emails for the cashback promo, weekend promo, lose a tooth day promo (sorry, you get the idea). I get bunches but it's because I belong to all of them!

I receive regular emails because I have subscribed to promotions at Bodog, Slotastic and Lucky Club. Those are the only ones I would consider playing these days. I haven't noticed any excessive spam. Unsubscribe is always an option with accredited casinos, if emails bother you.

I've noticed no such thing

I have an account at club world, inbet , jackpot, bodog, intertops etc. I agree the virtual group and those crazy spammers that change email addresses all the time are at the top. Just saying I've noticed an uptick lately from the 1st three. Business is obviously slowing down.

Those spam ones from Barbara Drew that you get are all linked to rogue casinos.

How are you getting your money out of Bodog? You live in WA State? or DC? Won't send you a check to WA State. Western Union? I see the fees are like 100 bucks per 1k! . Bodog has to be feeling it now

Bodog didn't charge me anything for my last withdrawal. ($1250) I had my money in hand, via Western Union within hours of requesting the payment. So for I have still been able to deposit with my Visa debit card. (Greendot)

The emails you got are most likely from (greedy with no sense of guilt) affiliates. IMO it's always a good idea to forward these emails to their affiliate team so that they get to know the affiliates who violate their T&C. I guess that they will close the account then and the spammer gets nothing, which is nice IMO.

The one I was talking about in particular was to High Noon cause I opened it to see but it didn't take you to the casino website. It was an affiliate site and it was some guy that signed it offer.

Like I said, went to my Yahoo account and all the legit stuff from CW casinos goes to Gmail.

Im not getting any more mail than normal from JC or CW .In fact I have been getting LESS mail. For a while I thought I fell of CW mailing list as I had not any for a while, but got one this week.

I'm definitely getting much more in my snail mail. I've played more rtg's the last couple of months than I did for all of last year but no similarity to virtual. they stand alone.

Wow that's nice. Do you just place your request online using the rapid transfer feature?? The WU fees are 10%.

Agree with most of the posters= not getting spam mail direct from CWC but I have been getting spam from an affiliate for aladdins gold=they just get deleted
