Hi Guys,
Though I am not an official rep of RA, I do have some say
First of all THANKS! for bringing this to our attention , we have many bonuses in RA , some are better and some less. The idea behind a bonus is to give the player something extra for his willingness to play in the Casino.
I will make sure that the Marketing guys take a close look at this ASAP and fix/ change or do what ever is needed to make this reasonable!
What i DONT think is fair (there is such thing as fairness , right ?) it to come out lashing and bashing a casino about one single bonus....
Do some searches about RA in CM forum , and you will see that we have dealt with EVERY single issue in the most prompt and best possible manor insuring that the player or his affiliate's issues are solved... This is not the way of a rouge casino ....
To summarize:
1. YES there is an problem with the bonus
2. THANKS (yes we mean it , feed backs on anything we do good and especially BAD is what allows us to grow and improve , not just in business , but also in LIFE
3. We will fix it ASAP (need a day or two to have the people working on it change
4. Give credit where credit is due (not trying to teach anyone here how to act , but be FAIR and give some thought before bashing someone completely
Thanks,
MNM (on behalf of RA)
A bonus offer THIS bad should have NEVER seen the light of day. The casino "bashed itself" by offering this.
This was a DEPOSIT bonus, not a free chip. The player had to deposit their OWN money, yet could NEVER win more than TWICE the original deposit, AND had to meet a pretty high WR, along with game restrictions, to achieve even this.
The suggestion of "why not just deposit $50 and bet it all on Red at the Roulette table", or similar just shows how BAD this offer was. This would have the SAME possible outcome, but would be WITHOUT any kind of restrictions.
This is a basic test marketing should be applying to any offers before they go live. They MUST add value over and above the player simply making a deposit on it's own, and should most certainly NOT be of significantly WORSE value than a deposit on it's own.
This is NOT a "one off" mistake either. This forum is littered by this kind of nonsense coming from Rival casinos, to the extent that we now EXPECT it.
MY reaction on reading this was "Oh, it's RIVAL, that explains it".
This is dragging down the reputation of the entire platform, making it a laughing stock among players, yet the saddest thing of all is that Rival themselves simply cannot see this, and carry on making even worse marketing blunders, making them even more of a laughing stock, rather than a serious gaming platform, among many players.
Look at those brands considered a "serious gaming platform", such as Microgaming. You would NEVER see a bonus anywhere NEAR as bad as this. Max cashouts, even on 400% CASHABLE bonuses on MGS just do not exist, even IF such bonuses tend to be "slots only".
Equally, MGS do NOT have dozens of "silly" bonuses available all the time, but rather a small number of generally well designed offers.
RTG casinos that have restrictive max cashouts on DEPOSIT bonuses tend to be the rogues, like the Virtual group. Thus, the association between such bonuses and the operator being rogue - it's a matter of player experience, and "spot the rogue" advice. If a casino doesn't want to be mistaken for a rogue, it should ensure it doesn't behave in a manner that could lead players into thinking it might be rogue. Once players have convinced themselves a particular casino is rogue, whether justified or not, the casino has an uphill struggle convincing those players it is not.
