roulette game

I don't think many posters here play Roulette (except Lydia), so you're not likely to get many answers to your question. (Main reason:- Not allowed in bonus WR)
Theoretically of course, they should all pay the same; 2.7% HA for single zero I believe.

I love to play Roulette, but not on MicroGaming due to the ridiculous $1 minimum chips & crap graphics. :(
(Mind you, the new 'gold' version is a lot better)

Does anyone know which form of roulette game has been more favourable on microgaming casinos, in terms of odds.
Stick with Microgaming's French Roulette, which offers a 2.70% house edge on inside (numbers and thirds) bets and 1.35% on outside (odd/even, black/red, high/low) bets.

I personally play mostly european roulette, sometimes french, never amercian. I don't like Microgaming roulette but for other reasons than KK, I just dont' have much luck there except Trident Lounge and sometimes Golden Reef, they have a very good payout. Boss Media roullete seems more fair to me, eg. Casino.net, Pharaoh's. And Wagerlogic. I used to have much luck at Harrods (Kismet), but lately not. I play mostly straight numbers, I have my favorite combination. It's no system, but I guess after a while casinos figure out my pattern and I don't win any more, then I bet on outside, though its not so exciting - not so much payout as straight numbers. :)
Playtech roulette was also OK in terms of payout (casino Europe), but after reading so many complaints, I don't play there any more. And RTG roulette is horrible, IMHO!

It has always been a mystery to me why some people want to play the american version or why some casinos offer both. The only reason
american roulette was invented was to increase the house edge when the game was introduced in the U.S. I do find it funny they actually
added 'American' to a far inferior game.

Maybe americans believe it is better since it is 'american' or are online players just that 'less educated' in gambling?

If you play sometimes on weekend and read the "guestbook", you'll see the most americans play slots or american roulette at "reserved tables". I prefer multiplayer tables (the more players the better - the system must chose who loses, at single-player table the decision is simple). ;)

That's quite a serious accusation - you're saying that all online casino's Roulette is rigged! :what:

Have you any hard evidence of how & why they would bother to rig a game with a guaranteed house edge of 2.7%?

No, KK I don't have any hard evidence, its just my feeling, observation and personal experience. I used to play in Atlantic City almost every weekend, it was different from on-line casinos. Besides, I am little bit paranoid and don't trust any casinos (doesn't stop me to gamble thou).

Why would they bother - simlply because they never have enough? :what:
