Ahhhh I miss the days when I could "distort my senses" and trip out when the flying pig comes out :eek2:....lol.

I saw them I think in the late 80s (Learning to Fly tour? Do not remember, good sign of a good time). Yes I know I was too young for the really good years with Floyd, but at least I got to a reunion when they weren't in their golden years.

These days not sure if I want to see some of the old timers in concert, sometimes it's a good thing (Jimmy Page, Deep Purple,in the mid to late 80s), sometimes verrrrrrrrrrrrry bad (aka The Stones anytime after 1980).

I saw the Pulse tour in Phoenix - they were all old guys but Gilmour sounded awesome. It was an incredible concert - one of the best live recordings I've ever heard too.

Seeing Roger Waters last time was like watching Terry Norris try to make a comeback. He was so awesome and suddenly....not.

EDIT: For anyone who's not a boxing aficionado - "Terrible" Terry Norris was an amazing boxer. I mean amazing.

Somewhat OT but there is an excellent BBC documentary on Pink Floyd called "The Pink Floyd Story: Which One's Pink?". It's BBC One and I believe it first aired in late 2007.

I've always been a big fan of the early days of the band, up to and including "Wish You Were Here" (1975). Among other things the doc pretty much explained why I liked that stuff and not much of what followed.

Anyway, great stuff if you get a chance to see it! I ♥ the Beeb!

LOL 4th night @ Sports Arena - 2/10/80 - Best PF show since Darkside @ Hollywood Bowl - 9/22/73. Also saw the In the Flesh Tour (behind Animals) @ Anaheim in '77, and the monstrosity, The Divisoin Bell @ the Rose Bowl '94 & while they played The Dark Side in it's entirety (sans Waters) they sounded like an Oklahoma City garage band playing PF covers. If not for the extra hit of acid, I'd a been pissed! The Stone's Voodoo Lounge show that Oct, also @ the RB, (with VIP pass via Fender Musical Insts, Inc and introduction to KR + 1hr jam in dressing room b4 the show) helped wash away that bad memory!

How do they sing through their oxygen masks?
