Hi everyone,
I am new to this group but i have read the forum here often and enjoy it. I ran across the thread about RoadHouse and I have to share my experience with you. It might be too long..and if it is, I apologize...

Upon signing up at RoadHouse, I immediately deposited 200$ to play. I wasn't worried about the bonus..I was just in a mood..I lost that 200 very fast.
Next morning I get up and WOW..I have a 200$ bonus sitting in my acct. I start playing the bonus and I am primarily playing Spectacular with the bonus spin wheel, wheel of wealth, and Break Da Bank. They were paying me ok...then I hit a big one on Break da Bank..see screenshot..
Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

After pulling myself back together it was still giving me a pretty good return so i up'd my bet to 100$ a pull..and this is what i hit..
Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

Simply amazing. For the first time in my life i found the cashout button, I called the casino to confirm i had met the playthru requirements etc..and cashed out with them on the phone. The "flushed" it for me which is supposed to exppidite things..So I was elated..A Fourteen Thousand Dollar Win...
I immediately notify the casino that I want an ACH transfer which puts it right in my checking acct.., I did this in writing. Three days pass, I hear nothing..I have sent emails asking for the status etc..I called their support number and I was told that it was being processed to day..Now this was the 22nd of November. I follow up with a call to the casino the following day. I am just confirming the transfer had been processed..After being put on hold for almost an hour, I was informed that the cashiers had made an error, instead of an ach deposit i was to be sent a check via courier. ..The day before I had contacted the casino and went over the final details about the cashout etc..I was told "if you wanted it to go ACH, thats the way it went" "no need to check my acct"..
Now come to find out..It was ignored and i was being sent a check..
Ok well no problem...After all i was receiving this fourteen grand on a bonus anyway..always in the back of my mind I am thinking..Bonus..hmm probobly will find a technicality to not pay...hmmm..The casino then informed me check will arrive here on Monday ...ok great...I began calling fedex two day later to try to get a tracking numer at least so I can track its location. The is nothing there nada..Nothing...

Finally this morning (monday) I call FedEx again..still no tracking number..(and this package was supposed to arrive Today..{{suspicion is growing}}..I called the casino and was told again "no one avail to talk to with the cashier group) I finally said am going to sit here until I get someone and they put a man on the phone. He said check was sent 11-23....Im getting upset because no tracking info....I then called back Fed Ex myself and they were able to finally see something but it was in florida..THAT IS IT..so now it is scheduled to arrive on Monday. So I am feeling a little better now..
What am i getting at? you Might wonder..Well I am getting at this..The support I received in these last days has been terrible. I have been told one thing and they have done another..I was treated like a looser, not a winner..I cannot beleive that when you are cashing out a substantial amount of money that they can be so careless. I guess I should be happy with my win, which i am <smile> however the interaction with this casino has made it a stressful, terrible experience. One quick note..In my discussions they kept saying how sorry they were for the numerous mistakes etc..they said "i wish there was something we could do for you"..I said well..it would be nice if you would put a small bonus on my acct to compensate me for taking the time of work today to sign for my check,unneccesarily...He said he would see what he could do. I immediatly received an email stating "I have sent your account for review and regret that I have not been given permission to credit you with a bonus at this time." I think any other casino would have been offering something but not these guys..I dont know if i am being too sensitive over this whole thing..but it is possible..You feel kind of wierd when you win. Its something I have never felt until a few days ago..If anyone has any comments I would sure like to read them. ( i have really condensed this story to give you a sinopsis of it) it may not sound bad to some of you..

thanks for reading.

Sweet win! When are online casinos going to learn that they're more likely to get at least a portion of their money back (especially after huge wins like this) if they only treated the customer with respect and a fash cashout?

At least they didn't try and pull the "We're only going to pay you $X a month" trick :)

ps: I guess you were going to post a screenshot, but it didn't come through...

WinBig & Lydia
Thanks for your thoughts on this..i was beginning to think i was loosing it..and yes i tried to post two screenshots. I will read the instructions again and go from there..they are two very pretty pictures <smile>

Oh..and sorry for all the typos I just made in that post above this one..HaHa i just read it again, tried to go in and correct and now it says I cant, due to sixty minutes has passed..(it was one of those blazing typing sessions) haha

by the way the check is scheduled to arrive on wednesday..not monday like i said in the original post....that was another typo...Yikes.

I guess everyone has had some "gotcha" stuff from a casino or two take place..I am just releaved that they didn'T say something like "cashouts can only be done on days beginning with the letter "M" and only on odd days of the month..." any attempt at any other time will forfeit all winnings..LoL

I have really had a strange winning streak the last few weeks..I dont know what is going on..besides this win, three weeks ago i won 9000$ at arthurian..but they made it go through some weird probationary thing because i had used citidel to fund the account. So what do you think happened during the waiting period??? Yep..I went in here and there and gambled it down to 4000.(cashed out at 4000).and THEN...i also won ten thousand at nostalgia..but again there was a waiting period..and I dont know if I can actually write this but..I LOST IT !!!! ALL OF IT!!! UGH..noone knows thats what happened not even my boyfried..i kind of lied and said they said I had multiple accts and wouldnt pay..Isnt that awful..??...geez now im confessing ..but what i am getting at is that was alot of money during three weeks...and I have been doing this stuff for years and years..without much of anything big..So if it hasnt happened to anyone reading this..THERE IS HOPE !!! but now i have a tough act to follow and this could get dangerous if ya know what i mean ...

i finally was able to get the screenshots uploaded .i will try to link to them here..Attach Removed (Old not found)

hopefully you all can see these...

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!!:drink:

I understand your feeling - euphoria from such big win, impatience to get money asap and the so many frustrations. :( It happened to me a couple times (of cource never such big win:rolleyes: ), but as I won a substintial sum and with $$$signs:eek: in my eyes aready planned what I would do with all the money, suddenly different obstacles popped up.:( - one time it was that I have to do additional WR on my real account after fulfulling bonus account WR(thats why I avoid bonuses as plaque), another time I could not get my money to my NETeller account because it was 1st payment (Lasseters) so I have to wait for check 10 days.
But hey!! No sweat, no win!:D At least they were decent not to pull some BS about any excuses not to pay you. It seems to me you can not realy enjoy your winnings in full nowdays because one is never sure that one will be paid.

So enjoy your happy end and one more time WTG!

I also have winnings streaks sometimes, but I never have guts to bet big:eek2: And yes, me too... I lose almost everything after big win, then regret it bitterly but never learn...:(
I won only once in Nostalgia (200) and never in Arthurian, both are supposed to be good.. What did you play when you won $10000 (OMG -$$$ ) and how much did you deposit?:what:

BTW, I got your screenshots rightaway, but they are not too big...

Most of my wins have really been on Break Da Bank. I think my streak may have come to an end because lately it seems i can't make it hit. when it does i have a small bet in, instead of a big one. My deposits have been a little off the hook lately. Around six hundred on the 10000 win at nostalgia. I have been finding myself out of money...(money for my household etc) because every day it seems like i was running to the bank to make a deposit to cover my previous nights wagers..I guess right now im ahead..but I think it may be hard. What is it about gambling..especially for me online gambling..that makes it so surreal. It almost feels like you are playing with play money or something. Maybe because it isn't in front of us and we can't really beleive its true. It seems like you were wondering how I was able to get these wins..
so I will try to explain my way of thinking..
I start off with 200 normally for my gameplay.deposited..I then to to spectacular with the spin bonus..I hang out there for around fifty dollars at two dollars a bet trying to get the spin to come up. You would be surprised how often 800 or 600 comes up..If i win, then I take a deep breath, and go over to break the bank where i start off with ten dollar bets..I have found when it hits something..normally by four or five more pulls it will hit again also..that is when i have been increasing my bets to 25, 50 and 100 dollars. Depending on how much I have to work with at the time..If it falls down to 150 or so, i then go back to spectacular bonus spin or I go to wheel of wealth. But wheel of wealth is 300 per spin..I am just hoping to get a good spin so I can go back to Break da bank. Sometime it works out perfect, othertimes i loose miserably..haha..when I get real real low..lets say 8 or 9 dollars i then go to Halloweenies or Ladies Night. You can sometimes get a free spin session on your scatters and rack it back up to at least 20$..i just keep trying to build it back up for another session at Break Da Bank. There is something I have been noticing alot lately..That very first pull on these slots is almost always a winner..and i have also noticed when they are cold, they are very very cold. I have also had pretty good luck on What a Hoot..winning over 100 quite a few times..I think the trick for me has been to find the winning streak on one of the machines and bite the bullet and increase my bets. I must've played a 100 dollar bet on Break the Bank at least 30 or 40 times that day when i won the 14 thousand. I got lucky that the little payoffs it was giving me were then large enough to keep me going. Its amazing how much more you win when you arent betting 75 cents a spin. I just recently started doing this large bet thing. Normally my bets were conservative. But I have also noticed that my play is more agressive than ever. I was happy before with just the "loose a little, win a little" attitude. But now..I crave the next "big" win. Is this what they call addiction?? haha.. I really think I am getting it bad.
anyway I hope my techniques that i have just decribed help you out.
Im curious to know if anyone else that is a member of this forum attempts to try my theory. If anyone does, can you let me know how you did? Im just curious to see if it works for anyone else. I am going to play a little bit when I get my cashout check on wednesday. If i do anything good I will let you know. ( but, I really think my winners steak is over)

Congrats on the big win Kellye. Please dont get too carried away with online gambling though. Just spend discretionary money on it.

Sorry for sounding preachy. Good luck and be sure to post your good wins in the Winners Screenshot thread!!

I'm sorry if this sounds "preachy" as well, but that's a big RED flag right there. I congratulate you on that huge win, but the above concerns me more than anything else.

And lying to family/boyfriends/whoever about gambling isn't a good sign either ... please, please be careful and put some more thought into your gambling decisions.

Yea really. Stick about $9,000 in the bank and DONT TOUCH IT! lol....use the rest for fun money. you deserve it after a hit like that :D

Its called compulsive gambling. Its just like a drug or alcohol addiction.Without the physical signs of course.I can see it in myself. I wonder how many posters in this forum can admit to themselves or others that they fall in the same category?Try searghing the internet for compulsive gambling or gambling addiction etc, and decide for yourself.Good luck (with your search).

Studies show that online gamblers are far more apt to be compulsive/problem gamblers than those who visit land-based. Thanks for your honesty Tombomb. You're surely not alone here, but very few would dare to admit it.

This is a gambling forum, and while gambling can be fun and, like alcohol, can be enjoyed in moderation, we have a responsibility here to speak out.

Kelly, you have no options. Kelly, you need to stop gambling NOW. Close down all your casino accounts immediately. You're very lucky to be able to do it while you're ahead and haven't lost everything

Sincerely
Slotmachine

I'm sorry to have to say this, but this kind of talk only makes a person regret that they've bared their soul and admitted that the gambling has gotten out of control. There's nothing a complete stranger on a forum can say that will bring anyone to a life changing decision. The worst thing we can do is treat someone who's been honest as though they're some kind of freak who has lost all control. I'm sure she's been under alot of financial pressure and realizes that something needs to change. There are other options like advising the casinos that you want a weekly limit set on deposits.. or by permenantly closing any banking service that allows you to deposit out of your checking account and instead use a prepaid card or western union on a cash only basis. To tell a person to just stop immediately and change your lifestyle is just a bit over the top in my opinion. Tim

I admit it also. I gamble online every day, and drink most days too. But all in moderation - I never get drunk and I never blow huge amounts of ca$h. I know I should cut down, but it's very hard. I don't see it as a financial problem (quite the opposite as I make profit most months!), but it is very time-consuming & anti-social. :(

At least I never smoke ciggies or do drugs! ;)

I too don't like to preach, but I also urge Kelly to make sure she has control over what she's doing.
Have fun - but be careful!

While I'd like to congratulate Kelly on her huge win, I too would advise closing accounts - I find a $100 bet on a slot to be a very bad thing for someone who has to rush to put money in the bank to cover the charges.

Though I don't think I would have said it quite like Slotmachine, in essence he - and everyone else who has noted the problem - are correct.

Kelly, good luck. At the very least, take most of it, stick it in the bank, preferably an account you can't access through Neteller - and enjoy it. Even if you do give a little back, spend some on something nice for yourself, or family, so that no matter what you will come out a winner.

Hi Everyone,
I was prepared for this when I got up this morning and viewed all of your posts. I just knew what everyone was going to say. And i want to say that you are all correct. I know those of you that are sounding a bit "harsh" are only trying to save me from myself.

Tim- I really like what you wrote and you were right, I did bear my soul. I thank you for your honesty as well.

SLOTMACHINE-:what: wait a minute..Are you my dad reincarnated?? I mean this as a complement. I miss his words of wisdom. I know he would have given me the same advise you did.

Spearmaster- Good advise. I plan on doing just that.

KasinoKing- Thank you for your honesty. This being a "gambling" forum also leads me to beleive that a large percentage of people on this forum also have gambling issues. Why else would we spend so much of our time discussing casinos and all of the other topics that all share the common demoninator of gambling?

Tombomb- You hit the nail on the head. I know it is becoming a problem. I have considered taking my computer out of my home but my excuse for not doing this is I am a computer tech. I think if i can take a break for a while I can get it under control. I know that self disipline is the key here. Somehow I think all mine has flown out the window.

I would have quoted all of you in the above but I cant figure out how to use that function..LoL

If anyone is wondering how things stand today with Roadhouse, here goes...

This morning at 6am my time I received a call from Adam at Roadhouse telling me that he has the tracking numbers for me and he sent me an email.
Here is a cut and paste from it:

You are correct with many of your comments about the service your received from us and I am sincerely sorry for the additional stress. Your query has also exposed the delay we experience getting our tracking numbers from FEDEX and I want you to know that your comments and experiences will help us to evolve and develop our services further so that we can in time address enquiries like this with greater speed and efficiency.

I will make senior staff in our department aware of your comments and I will do my best to make sure that your experiences are not suffered by others in the future.

I thank you for your patronage at the casino and wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors. Please enjoy your great win and may it bring you joy and happiness in all that you do with it.

I would also like to wish you and your family well for the holiday season.

Sincerely yours,

Adam Smith
Customer Services

AHHHHH
Whats not to love??.I do not feel as bad about the casino. It is funny that when you finally get acknowledgement about a problem you are having the anger subsides. Sometimes thats all it takes. Good lesson for me as well.
(makes me want to deposit money again and play)....but I will resist the urge and go wash my car or something. At least I can say they seem to be owning their faults and it sounds like my experience, however faulty, may be a catalyst for putting some changes in place.

ttfn-

Kellye

I don't know how to say this without sounding condescending, but I'm really proud of you. I really hope you take that win and use it to pay some bills, or get yourself a treat, and do something to get yourself help.

As a poker player, I jokingly quote Phil Ivey's response when somebody asked him "Are you addicted to gambling?" He replied "Yeah, but I'm really good at it."

Unfortunately, there's no way to be really good at craps, roulette, or slot machines. The only thing to do is to either play at a level where losses fall into your entertainment budget, or not play at all.

I wish you the best of luck, that you might be one of the lucky few who escape their addiction with their wallets in tact.

Kelly, I'm very glad everybody here is taking responsibility for a fellow gambler and I agree with the posters here all the way. As members of CM's prestigious gambling forum, we must be ready to openly discuss all aspects of gambling, it's not all about the winner screenshots. My earlier comments were not meant to be harsh, just firm, and I wrote them out of respect for you and your life. This is a serious business, people - precious lives have been completely and utterly wasted because of compulsive gambling.

Best of luck, Kelly and congrats on your win - and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

Cheers,
SM

By the way kellye, was that your first ever deposit at this casino and you turned it into $14000? How long did you play? What other casinos do you play at?

imkelle, well done on your win, but i'm wondering did you have any other wins?

i'm make your first win $4,800 and your 2nd $3,200, so thats $8,000 so where did the rest of the balance come from?, not to mention that this is a high stake/high variance slot so there would of been a lot more won due to natural losses in play to cover that final balance.

also out of interest how did you get a $200 first sign up bonus ? when the first sign up bonus is $100 and the follow up for 2nd deposit is $150 ?

i'm not critisising here but would love to be in your luck bracket one day.

I beleive that when I made my deposit there was a promo going on that said "deposit 50 get 200"...I deposited 200 not fifty..thats how i started..
as far as where did the rest of the balance come from all i know is that i was up and then goin down..up..down. When the jackpot hit i was only betting ten dollars then. i was down to almost the 200 i began with..that got me up to about 5000..somewhere in between there I hit a few nice ones..and before i knew it I was up to 8000...then shortly after that i reached the 14 thousand dollar mark and stopped. I was doing 100 dollar bets at that point.
If I would've been doing pulls at 100$ each when that jackpot hit..I would have won somewhere around 50,000$!!

I could be mistaken on that promo ..yaknow now that im thinking about it I may have it confused with Riverbells Promo..its kinda running together. But i know I had lost all of the money the night i did my deposit and the following morning I had the bonus in my account. I think the promo reads on your first deposit receive 100% back, 2nd deposit recieve 100% up to 150.00.

anyway i hope this all makes sense...:)

FYI I received my Checks today...They came as two payments, one for 9000$ and one for 5000$. HURRAYY!! All in one envelope via FedEX. .went to the bank and put every dime in my savings acct. How long it will sit there, I don't know..hehe

I am very pleased with the outcome of all of this..and also because I feel like I have made some friends on this forum. I like you all..Very good people..
Id like to keep hanging out here for a bit if you don't mind...

one more tiny thing:
For some reason I get the feeling that some of you all are thinking..oh sure..this isn't real and i know for a fact anyone can doctor screenshots if they put their mind to it..I want to clarify that THIS IS ALL TRUE...every word of it..

Cheers,
SM

'Nuff said, beautifully written ...THANK YOU!!!

I think that I did my original post here because I knew I was going into merky water with my behaviour and I also was worried about the way it was being handled by the casino...You all are so smart and I respect you comments, even if I didn't want to listen. Thank you again everyone !

Hi Kelly,

I used to live in Monterey - up on Laine street right above where the Dream Theater used to be. I was one of Monterey's first punks back when disco was king - back before the Aquarium was built - back when most of Cannery Row was abandoned buildings. Man, I have a lot of stories about that place :drink:

I have a daughter who works at Sly McFly's BTW :D

Anyway, it prides me to know that many of the members here have noted your posts and pointed out that this recreational activity (gambling) must ALWAYS be kept in check. There is a lot of really good advice here; you should heed it.

And congrats on your win! Please spend the cash on something tangible like a new entertainment center or something.

Cheers!
