Rizk first deposit because of its accreditation. Regret it

Hello guys! I’m new at this forum.

I’ve been playing slots for just under 6 months and I’ve enjoyed trying different casinos with a great deal of luck.

Lately I tried out Rizk because of its review and accreditation at this site.. The review looked good and didn’t inform about the horrendous terms of the sites bonus program. Every winning I did on the site after my welcome bonus deposit, were locked to the bonus. In other words I could not cancel the part of the bonus, and then withdraw my winnings if I chose to.

Can I blindly trust reviews from this side? I’m sceptical after this experience and I am confused on where I can find a list of trusted casinos with a bonus program that allows me to cancel and withdraw when I feel like it.

Have you tried reaching out to their representative here on the forums? They are @Betsson-Group and they might be able to help with your issue since it sounds like there may have been a problem.

It's also worth mentioning that these rules will vary by country - so a site may structure the bonus differently based on regulatory requirements, internal risk (e.g. the country has a reputation for bonus hunters) or personal preference.

A site should always display the terms of a bonus before you sign up / deposit - and given how frequently we see complaints about bonus funds here, you should always read the terms first.

Examples include:

• Maximum bet - e.g. £5/€5
• Wagering requirement - e.g. 35xB, 30x(D+B)
• Game Weighting and Restrictions - e.g. slots count 100%, roulette 10%, blackjack 2%
• Capped Winnings - by far the nastiest part, e.g. all wins over 5xB will be forfeit
• Time to complete - e.g. 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days

A lot of sites will tie your deposit into the bonus funds - so you have to complete wagering to withdraw. The exception to this will be jurisdictions like the UK where the funds have to be separated, and in which case most sites operate cash-first.

To give you one example - one site unironically offers a "Welcome Bonus" - free spins, 65xB, then the gotcha that maximum redemption is equal to lifetime deposits (up to a secondary cap) - so £10 deposited, you get a big win, you beat a horrendous 65xB and you get... £10

And they wonder why people say casinos can't stand a bet anymore...

I wonder if there is something missing from the welcome bonus terms:

• Your Welcome Offer bonus needs to be wagered a minimum of 45x on the bonus amount before the funds can be withdrawn.
• Once the Welcome Bonus has been claimed, your funds will be used in the following order: 1/ Any funds required to trigger the bonus 2/ bonus funds 3/ any remaining funds.
• You can forfeit your bonus amount and respective winnings at any time and withdraw any remaining balance.

But then in the Bonus Terms page, it mentions for reload bonuses:

• You won’t be able to withdraw your qualifying deposit until the wagering requirements have been met.
• Once your Reload Bonus has been claimed, your funds will be used in the following order: 1/ Any funds required to trigger the bonus 2/ bonus funds 3/ any remaining funds.
• Players can forfeit their bonus amount at any time and withdraw any remaining balance.

The third bullet point refers to pot #3 ("any remaining funds") in both cases - but only the second set of terms explicitly mention what happens to pot #1. I wonder if this is a genuine exception, or an oversight?
