I have heard a lot of bad stories about RTG casinos, but wow Rival is slowly catching up. I spent a total of $2500 in 4 days about two weeks ago. I luckily most of that back, but proceeded to spend another $1800 last night in 5 hours. This is all on a penny machine with $2.00 being the max bet. Their machines are becoming very tight! I could not believe it. Out of that $1800, I got a mere $20 in comp points, and no player bonuses! Anyway, that's not the worst of it. I've been waiting for a withdrawal from Pantasia since March 8th, and from Simon Says since March 15th. They just keep telling me that their ACH processor is down, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to get money to USA players. They sure didn't have any problems taking my deposits though. Also, for a couple of days, every time I got a bonus round, the casino shut down. This happened at three different casinos of theirs. I have contacted support, and they said they were looking into this issue, but alas 10 days have gone by, and I have heard nothing. I play the machines for the bonus rounds, because that's where you usually make your money, so to have them shut down during the bonus round at least 10 times, made me angry. The casino actually shut down and booted me off during bonus rounds. Anyway, I've played here for years, and usually love their casinos, but I don't know what is happening lately. It seems like this last month has just been bad. To go through almost $4000 on a penny machine is a little much.

I feel your pain, heidisue. I remember when a free spin round on Cleo's Coins would get you a minimum $50-$60, now you're lucky if you get $10. I have been a loyal player and supporter for quite some time but I'm getting pretty tired of spending and spending and not even getting a bonus round, e.i. spent $125 today and got 1 bonus round on the new slot which paid about $40. Got the free spins on Cleo's Coin and got $2.10. Not funny anymore.

I know what you mean. I haven't played them lately, but read the bum news these days about RTG. I have to say though that I really dug the Reel Series Video Slots though, they are awesome. Aztec, FF, the Diamond one lots of fun. I'm sorry to hear you guys are getting creamed on RTGs. If it's any consolation, you have helped me not contribute to the losses, I THANK YOU ALL!! Hope the news gets better about RTGs, I really want to go play there again!!

yes and yes again. you guys are right. i love playing the slots and i play everyday. i dep sometimes 100.00 a few times a week and also sometimes a few smaller deposits . if you add it up i probably spend quite a bit making all my small dep. i cant hit much at all. ive won a few good hits here and there but it eats it all back up. and you think on the features you might get lucky but it doesnt happen. i got the features today on a rtg game and i got .96 cents. that s pitiful. .

I have the same opinion. Something has definitely changed with the Rival Slots. Could amost guarantee a good payout on the bonus spins, but not anymore.

Also used to get free credits fairly often, but seldom get them now. Also, I think the wagering has changed for bonuses.

All in all, I have very little motivation to deposit there anymore.

many had same experiences elsewhere though...

Hang in there guys. :notworthy

I think we have all gone through the exact same scenario at almost (if not) EVERY casino group. :(
RTG, Micro. Rival, 3Dice and ALL of them.... (skipping, freezing reels, bumped off, slow downs ) yes... very frustrating.

BUT IMHO.. I really don't think (and hope it's not..) "tightening up". ;)
Back at the end of 2006 to mid 2007 I won hundreds here and there And I first loved but then hated my "favorite" casino's and I accused them of exactly the same things!

I now truly believe that the harder we try to win the more we lose..we believe it will "pay back" but it doesnt (not like before). :sob:

Once I realized this I learned to only deposit $20-$40 (tops! unless I get lucky ;)) at any online casino. If I can build that great! and If not, oh well. I had my fun and I play free tourneys.

If you have the budget to play large sums of money, Kudos to you  and I wish you luck. I myself can't see dumping large sums of money at any one online casino ~ if anything I would split it up (accreditted of course) and build here and there.. and still have fun where ever it decides to pays the gambler on the other side of cyberspace! :D

I don't think anyone can "expect" to always win... can they?

I don't think that any of us expect to win. I do think that we expect to be able to play longer than 10 minutes on a $100 deposit.

I have played the Rivals slots since they came into being and believe me when I say, things have changed and not for the good regarding players. Even when you play the horses you still get your bet back even if the horse is 1-1. But even with the free spins you can't get your bet back sometimes on the games.

I used to think that Rivals were the best casinos on the net but with every day my mind is changing. They have changed the slot payouts twice that I know of, changed the bonus structure so that now you have to be a "VIP" to get anything. They have all kinds of strange problems with their software. Their withdrawals are hit and miss and NEVER ask for a withdrawal by ACH unless you want to wait for weeks.

It just blows my mind that they have taken a very good gaming format and just turned it to s**t. They will tell you their changes are better for the player and that the new games are wonderful. Well, so far my answer is "NOT".

Anniemac.. I do truly understand your frustration (not to the the extent of the dollar amount because I would not bet that amount of money)..

:what:That was Just my opinion.
I agree that a deposit, whatever the amount should last hours if not days..
but, I don't do $2.00 spins.

As I just read in another of your threads from a friend of yours "start low, and then build"..
personally I find if one machine does not pay out,,, another will at least give a bit of entertainment.

I was certainly not looking for a reply like your last. I was only stating my own opinion and experience.
If you do not want public opinions shared in your thread, then please don't make it public (Yes, I know.. alot of casino's have been "tight" lately) but I would never ever start a thread without accepting and welcoming all opinions and input.
As I said before this is MHO (my honest opinion)..

Oh.. and last time I went to the track.. If the horse I bet on didn't even place. I got nothing.

Mysticjoz, there was nothing in my reply that was directed to you or anyone else on this forum. As you said, you have the right to your opinion and I have the right to mine. I don't know why you would take offense to my reply and not to some of the others.

I have played these slots since they came into being. They were a good group of casinos who worked very hard to keep the player happy. I could deposit $25 and play for hours @ $.75. Then they changed the payouts not once but twice. And the games have gotten tighter and tighter. I have made some nice cashouts last year at these casinos but couldn't, obviously buy one now.

And it will be my option to play there again or not and at this moment it's a not.

Sorry

I didn't mean to start any arguments here. I'm sorry. But Rival (I want to make sure I got this group right). I'm talking about Paradise 8, Cocoa, This is Vegas, Davinics Gold, Pantasia, and so on. Their machines have gotten very tight. I obviously didn't learn my lesson and deposited another $120 today, it lasted me 14 minutes, betting $1.00. That's just crazy I think. And my other complaint is their payouts. They are getting as bad as RTG. I've been waiting for a month for one payout now. But, I can't do much, I'm from the USA so I'm limited as where to play. But I remember when I could deposit $40 on Rival and play for awhile, no it seems like every hundred takes 10 minutes. It's just nuts.

anniemac... this is my last response to this... as I do not feel i even want to be involved in it.
I ended my post with "I don't think anyone can expect to always win ~ can they?"

and your reply to my post was...

I don't think that any of us expect to win. I do think that we expect to be able to play longer than 10 minutes on a $100 deposit.

therefore, I don't see how I could not have thought that was directed toward me.
I really care about everyone here at CM (at least most everyone.). and I only responded because it is sooo very easy to get caught up in chasing.. I was there in the past and hope to never be there again. Just Please be cautious.

there is no problem.. really. I just stated my opinion. ...;)

I just went through TIV's 200% up to $100 bonus ($150 starting BR) in under 30 minutes @ between .45 & $1.50 a spin. Needless to say I won't be going back to any Rival gaming casino any time soon. I hit 1 bonus round on the new iSlot and never advanced to scene 2. :what: The bonus round, I won approx 10x my bet, only hitting the expanding wild 1 TIME on 1 reel during the entire 10 spins.

Mystic....It sounds like are being hard on Anniemac and I don't get why. I don't recall her directing her post to anyone in particular, nor do I see where she said that she didn't want to hear anyone's else opinion or input.

I was not trying to be hard on her or anyone..

originally I stated that I felt we all went through the same experience with other casino's.
Annie and all ... if I mis-stated or something I said was taken wrong.
I appologize

and with that said..... I shall again go into the shadows and only watch.

good luck everyone

I obviously didn't learn my lesson and deposited another $120 today, it lasted me 14 minutes, betting $1.00. That's just crazy I think.

I lost the exact same ammount at Intercasino today and it lasted 6 minutes doing $2.50 spins.
Not funny, but happened to the best of us before and will happen again ;).

On the other hand you can win some hundred if not thousands of $ within the same time period, so I suppose thats nothing uncommon.

I can only say, in my opinion it is the total opposite.

Where you have Slots paying out 98 to 99 % ???

And those generous bonusses !! If you came from the right aff. you will get even better ones (400%). All cashable.

True, they had a week or two of not paying but now, my withdrawals come in two days.

But I cannot speak for all of Rival casinos. Only know Superior and This Is Vegas by now.

The only bad thing is, that they cannot send mails to WEB.DE, YAHOO and some HOTMAIL.DE (maybe more). 2 weeks I complaint and they didn't want to belive that the error is in their servers. But now my brother was told by them that they have those problems and he has to give them a new email address for coomunication, must be GMAIL (or hotmail.com).

I replied about the server or mail issues in another thread. I don't think it was ever a question of our servers or our problems but rather companies like yahoo blocking our messages as spam. It is being looked into but I would rather wait to hear back from Rival first before I post anything official. I don't expect users to switch to gmail although personally I think it is better and anybody who has switched now has no problems receiving our emails. If we find out that this is our problem I will come back here to admit it but it is being looked into and is a high priority for us to solve.

sloto and cocoa.....lol

I received an email from sloto where they asked me to try to cashout again....I already did 5 days ago and the money are already gone........lol
This was in response to my complain about em asking for the fifth time for doc which Ive already sent long ago and cashout few times in the meantime .....sloppy sloppy org.
Cocoa sent me an email on the 5th of april (yesterday evening) where they say to have added a $5 token to my account..
I went to my account......nothing
Contacted CS live chat and he say that that bonus is expired on the 4th.......what a gang of retard.......lol
They are both ridicolous
Sloto lost a good customer..Ive deposited a lot there.
Cocoa lost a possible good customer.
When will they learn from Enzo or John???probably never!!

They should give you double what it's worth for the inconvenious
I say give my friend Kakata something to brag about.Because we know where the better games are lol.
Make it a Sunshine of a day for him.
Good Luck Kakata
They may surprise you lol

I changed my email to gmail and notified all of the Rivals. Got three email today in my old Yahoo! account which were dated 3/31 and 4/1 - telling me about freebies and bonuses that I had already found. I just do not understand what is going on and why they are not addressing it in a more timely manner.

I am stilling waiting for my cashback from Simon Says for March (having issues) and was suppose to get a VIP bonus from Pantasia today - nothing.

Somewhere along the way their updating and new stuff has really screwed them up. Plus they are so tight now it's not much fun playing there for me, kinda like playing at Club World. :D

It would only be in theyr best interest.....since we all lose in the long run:o
They are not smart enough though.
How can they be so stupid and cheap about 5 bux which I didnt ask for btw????

...and yes I do use yahoo but Ive removed my filter completely , so I do receive 200 spam on dayly basis.....not theyrs???

Someone said something about yahoo's servers holding some mail (what they consider spam) for a few days before allowing it to go on through. That I can believe! I recently changed my email addy here at CM and with club world from yahoo to my gmail one and suddenly I'm receiving club world promo's in a timely fashion and also thread updates from here.
Those two things do confirm that yahoo is hanging on to those emails extra days. I can't give an opinion on the rival emails because I didn't use yahoo for them ever, I've always used my gmail for those.
To give you that freebie Kakata, wouldn't be a big deal you would think. Sometimes I'm amazed at the level of stupidity.

Rival's Slots not tight here

Just wanted to add my two coins here, this Friday I made a meger $20 Deposit and got the 200% match at TIV. I played for about 2 hours off it and built my bankroll up to around $130. I then had a monster hit on Scary Rich, finally getting the three counts on the bonus round. It paid out $757 off a $.60 bet. This is obviosly the execption and not the rule, it just seems I get more play time from Rival than MG. Also, TIV has top notch CS. Thier manager John responds to IM's very quickly.

I seem to have the most luck betting $.60 per spin on the 5 reels and $.75 on the 3 reels.

Congrats! It is the exception but when it happens it's one of those WOW moments. lol

My best luck has also been with similar bet sizes, seems I have never hit squat moving it up. Believe me when I say I tried. ;)

this doesn't have anything to do with your own spam filters but it seems it is rather companies like yahoo either blocking them out completely or for some odd reason are delaying them. It is in none of our best interests to have emails delayed announcing a bonus that expires quickly so we are trying our best to avoid it and just not letting the bonuses expire that quickly as well. I am going to look into this further personally when I am back from Amsterdam.

This is the result of the spamming campaign that some casinos have engaged in. This has caused these big companies to take action. Since many are US based, they will naturally target casino related spam as this will get the approval of the government. Indeed, it may even be that the government have had "a quiet word" with these companies to get them to try to block casino related Emails so that US citizens are no longer lured into playing.
It probably hits casinos worse because they are not spamming, but sending promos, so they don't jump from one domain to another, or use botnets. This will lead to the Viagra and pharmacy spam still getting through to some degree, as well as some genuine casino spam, but promo Emails will be hit hard.

I have also had serious problems SENDING Emails to casino support desks, and this could be related to this issue.

One way around this is for casinos to make more use of in-lobby messaging for promos. Microgaming have had the facility for ages, but many MG operators do not bother with it.

The only thing players can do is to complain to their Email provider, or move to another (not always that easy).

Well I hope that is not the case but I never rule out anything these days. It would be unfortunate if they were targeting casinos but it is tough to tell. This would hugely benefit rogue operators who are using every trick in the book to find a way to get you their emails, likewise with viagra and penis enlarging ones and whatever else is left. If players do check their account the bonuses show up in the lobby for them to see so it is one thing we do naturally but the emails help especially for this month where they have something happening almost daily. I would like to see players complain to their providers to ask for the reasons this is happening. In my opinion it does cross a line of censorship but if this is what they want to do then again casinos that don't spam will go out of business because their legitimate offers will never make it to the players. The rogue casinos that use spam as their means of doing business will always find a way around this system with the current system. I highly recommend gmail but I hope that other providers don't try to do this. Either way it's a great way for companies like yahoo to lose subscribers.

Once again I am not 100% sure this is truly the case but it looks like it at the moment.

I'm at Yahoo as well, and experiencing problems with receiving casino emails. However that is somehow undeterministic, sometimes I receive emails from the same casino promptly, sometimes only after four days. Usually the promotional emails are delayed.
From a Rival casino I only received a promotional email sent on Wednesday on Sunday, that is the biggest delay I experienced so far. Just to be on the safe side, the Rival casinos could also have another look into the issue, ask some players to volunteer, and track the emails sent out. Sometimes the Playtech offers are also delayed 1-2 days, but sometimes the same offer is instantly in my inbox.

I would like to add my 2 cents on Rival ( which lately is the only software I play) I have had more play time on my deposits (50.00 lasted me all weekend)at Rival ( TIV and Divinci Gold) I would love to win something big, but being able to play on my small deposits is a big plus in my book. I do agree the new I slot game is very tight -

Tried it, just get fobbed off. They lay blame on the sender (not having sent it), and the recipient (they missed it, filtered it, etc).

Research on the internet shows that there is a central domain blacklist that Email providers can use to block entire domains and servers. This is meant to target spammers, however when spammers "spoof" genuine domains, these get added to the blacklist too!
Spammers get round this by constantly changing the headers, however a victim whose domain gets accidentally blacklisted has no idea it has happened unless they check their domains against the blacklist.
It is difficult, as the domain from which an Email comes often looks nothing like the one where the casino resides, and this is probably because casinos subcontract to bulk Email senders. If these bulk senders also send "spam" thinking it is a legitimate marketing contract, their bulk sending domains will end up on the blacklist as recipients complain.

Owners of domains can create an entry for their domains that specifies how to detect genuine Emails originating from it, and this is supposed to let genuine Emails through, but stop those where their domain has been spoofed.

It's not perfect, and the system is still under development, Unfortunately, it is incompatable with Microsoft's "sender ID" system, and this only makes matters worse.

I, too, sent a scathing post to Yahoo! about my emails, not mentioning specific names. They can manage to send me the emails from "Simon Cowell" 5-10 times a day, which is gambling related by the way, but not emails I want. I have marked that sucker as spam everytime I get one and it still comes in my Inbox.

Am starting to receive emails through my gmail account so I hope that works.

John, thanks for coming on this forum and letting us know what is going on. It might be a good idea if some of the other reps from the other ones did the same thing. Just my opinion. :D

I think the main culprit is Yahoo. I am signed up to a few Yahoo Groups and have it set up to email me instantly (to a reliable, non-Yahoo email address) whenever someone posts a message to the group. Lately, it has not been uncommon for messages to get delayed, and then get sent all at once several days later. Other group members have brought up the same issue.

My advice: switch to GMail if you want to get rid of the delayed email problems. I can almost guarantee that will cure it. Anything going into or coming out of Yahoo is met with a delay.

To be brutally honest, the only reason I haven't deleted my yahoo account is because I still use it to keep in touch with people via yahoo messenger and several groups. I've had it since 2003, and for the past 3+ years I rarely look at my 'inbox', let alone use that email address for anything important.

When compared to GMAIL, I really don't see any advantage to using Yahoo for email. At least GMAIL doesn't block certain messages from coming through!

GMAIL also runs circles around Yahoo when it comes to the amount of spam that somehow inifiltrates your inbox. It's amazing how many emails from spammers mysteriously gets through Yahoo's spam filters, but legitimate emails get blocked altogether.

Gmail being blocked??

I came across this article dated today a few minutes ago. This is getting strange. No mention of yahoo mail being blocked but gmail is.

Have you had problems receiving e-mail from Gmail users recently? If so, you're one of thousands. Over the past month, major anti-spam vendors have had to apply scrutiny to Gmail in a way they haven't had to before, and the result is reduced delivery performance and sometimes outright blocking of Gmail. Some messaging hosts are being instructed to reject SMTP connections from Google. Ars Technica has independently confirmed this.

It all began when Google's bot-busting CAPTCHA for Gmail was defeated sometime in February. According to sources around the anti-spam industry, the result has been a marked increase in spam originating from Gmail SMTP servers. Some say the spam increase started even earlier, but all are in agreement on one thing: this is a serious problem.

After we learned of mail being greatly slowed by MessageLabs' corporate filtering service, we contacted them to see what's up. A support analyst with MessageLabs, a major provider of software-as-a-service anti-spam filtering, told Ars Technica that "some spammers have hacked into the Gmail captcha system, and were able to relay spams appearing to come from Googlemail's IP addresses. This has caused many IPs of theirs to appear to be sources of spam." For their customers, this means a decrease in performance. "We have a traffic-shaping system that throttles IPs that we believe to appear to be a source of spam. The result is that for the past couple of days we have been seeing issues like this with Gmail," the analyst concluded.

Later, once we confirmed that their servers were not only slowing the delivery of mail but sometimes outright refusing connections to some Gmail relays (we have connection refused errors to prove this), another support analyst told us that "Gmail has sent out a lot of spam recently, and they are registering on our traffic shaping system." When spam is sent out over a Gmail relay, that relay can sometimes get completely blocked, causing problems for thousands of legitimate Gmail users. MessageLabs then has to play whack-a-mole, trying to throttle only the SMTP relays that are spamming.

We have been able to verify the blocking problems, as well as extremely long delays in delivering messages (delays of four hours and up to 24 hours have been seen on hundreds of emails in our investigation). The problem can be maddening because not all Gmail relays are affected, and the relays effected change frequently. Hence you may be getting some e-mail on time, while others aren't coming through. Even some corporate Google e-mail has been blocked, we have confirmed.

Notably, the Postini anti-spam filtering service does not appear to be affected at this time. Postini was acquired by Google last year. Purely client-side filters such as SpamBayes are also not affected, but clients using IP-based blocking like the RBL may experience delays or blocks as well.

The real damage currently appears limited to select SaaS filtering solutions, such as MessageLabs and Antigen (we have reports, but no confirmation from Microsoft at this time). A source at another anti-spam company who wished to remain anonymous did say that Google can expect more problems if the CAPTCHA crack cannot be stopped. His product team was already working on the issue, but they were unsure how best to handle it.

I have been waiting since March 14th for my withdrawal from Simon Say's also. Just e-mailed again and they gave me the old ACH song and dance. Have to admit, they do respond pretty quickly. Just don't tell you anything. Also, I liked playing there because it was pretty loose. Especially in the Art Heist slots. They don't pay real big, but at least I could win consistanly and play for long periods of time. But I also have the complaint that has been brought up before about the Rival Casinos. When you do hit the big one, it is not a big payoff. In Art Heist when Robin Hood pops up, it should be a big win. Instead it is'nt any more than you win with just a lucky regular spin. One time I got five in a row in the I slots which should have paid off 30 bucks (whoop ti doo) and it didn't credit me. I called and talked to them and they never could find out what happened. TFB
I long for the good old days, when I just had them ach money from my checking, and when I won, it showed up like magic back in my checking. I don't know what Bush was thinking when he signed that bill to make "illegal" gambling into the nightmare it is now. Prohibition didn't work, and neither will the policing of this business. If this government had any brains, they would make it legal and collect taxes on it. I for one, though I hate taxes, would still be ahead and a LOT LESS FRUSTRATED. If this keeps on much longer, I will have to give up all together and I really love the online games. They are so much better than land casinos! JMHO
