Hi everybody,

Hope you are all well?

We know many of you are wary of Rival casinos, however they have all been painted with the same brush which makes it hard for the good ones to show their salt. We thought it is time to start rebuilding the image and if you also feel like there are Rival casinos that treat you well, please reply here and let us start identifying the good from the "not-so-good" :p

Rival now operate a non-US business and offer multi-language support and software. They pay on time and have great software.

We feel we run a good business and we go to great lengths to ensure our players have fun and feel rewarded. You can read some of their comments on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tropicacasino)

If this post is considered advertising, then we apologise as our intention is to get you guys talking about Rival brands again and hopefully get your help in weeding out the good operators from the rest. Casinomeister is a very important cog in the wheel that is online gaming and it is important that good casinos are recognised individually and not under an umbrella as is the case with Rival.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and if you want to help, please begin posting -your opinion matters :notworthy

Best,
Tropica

My opinion only....but a very shilly post. And yes, very much like free advertising.

With you baby though I might want to omit the 'h' from 'shilly'.

My experience with Tropica has been poor. I had a cashout pending in their cashier forever and they didnt respond to my emails then. I honestly cant see them turning over a new leaf and I believe Sloto has no faith in the image projected by other Rivals otherwise why migrate to RTG?

Hi,

If you had a cashout pending and your emails weren't responded to, then we take full responsibility. Casino management review each withdrawal and check player emails on a daily basis to make sure players are getting the best experience and service. Please send me your login so I may investigate and try to rectify your situation.

As for the post been "Shilly (and silly - LOL) - I do apologise. If one of you would be so kind as to champion this cause, we will step out of the picture and await the results of your findings (be it a poll, survey or simply posts from members here).

Yes, it would benefit us if a proper "Rogue list" was done and all casinos weren't simply grouped under 1 provider. We have always done our best to be fair and to make sure you are able to get the most value for money and entertainment :D

Rival was banished to the Rogue section because of some operators not valuing their players or reputation and the end result is that all Rivals are seen as "bad" when this most certainly is not true.

We have tried contacting Bryan to begin talks on a way forward and we have also asked Rival to contact him so that they can sit around a table and find an amicable solution. It would be great if Bryan would tell us (and Rival) what is needed and what he wants to see so that a proper "rogue" list could be drawn up.

Sorry for the loooooooong post, but very passionate about our brand

Thank you for your feedback - as usual, it is invaluable!

Thanks for your pm and your prompt response to my issue in the post above. This is a good sign ie communicating with players though much still needs to be done. I gave you some suggestions but I am sure other members will be able to shower you with better ideas.

Hi guys,

I've updated the i-Gaming rep user group policies here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forum-faq/forum-policies/

Please keep this in mind when engaging in threads where you want to embrace the player community.

Rival has had some serious issues in the past - mostly with the white labels, and these were the ones that were coated with the same brush - because they were the same thing: white labels.

What labels are no more than an affiliate account on steroids. They are not real casino operators and in most case do not have the finances to run pne properly. You'd be better off being an affiliate.

As for the casinos that are true separate entities, I have no problem removing them from the rogue pit (if they are listed) if they meet the qualifications of being placed in the On Probation section. Recently, we've had several casinos get through this "test" to include ThisisVegas.

It seems to me that Sloto and Desert Nights are simply mitigating potential loss. For some reason Desert Nights is still allowed to operate a Rival casino for US players (I believe Golden Cherry might be the only other option), but the Deckmedia group can't keep all of their eggs in one basket, particularly when that "basket" is a game operator that has banned US play - who's to say they wouldn't do the same to Deckmedia tomorrow, yk?
Additionally, tinfoil hats or not, there've been some very intriguing posts about the level of "customization" allowable within the RTG suite - and since we don't know for sure if that's legit, we can only wonder if it means Rival offers any more or less to operators. All I can say is that personally, Sloto was the tightest Rival I ever played, and now Desert Nights is just as bad. But sue me, I like some of their games, a lot. And the Sloto group is still respected, so I'll still play at Desert Nights (when I can deposit, which is another discussion entirely.)

Back to Tropica - before the bulk of Rival's went US only I played quite a bit at Tropica, but generally just because they had the best freebies around - and they were frequent and fun. I never expected a cashout on them, and my expectations were met.

The larger topic: Rival in general. I had some *great* cashout experiences at Rivals before the axe came down, most notably from the Box24 group. I miss having a variety to choose from, and don't understand why Desert Nights can still run a US friendly Rival, but the others can't.

Well, after almost a year of hardy to no Rival play, last weekend I decided to re-install Tropica and play a few bucks with no bonus, just to test the waters, as I really love Rival games and I miss playing them.
Tropica treated me good in the past.

So I put $25.- in, played my beloved Scary Rich games at minimum bets, managed to make it $100.- after a while and cashed out to see how that goes now.

Got a mail shortly after that I had to send security docs.
First thing I noticed is that they asked for a government photo-ID with an adress on it.
Well, here in Holland, no such thing so I hope they accept my European ID card anyway.

Bank statement, no problem.

Then I had to approve every single deposit I have ever made there, dating back to 2009!
Thats ridiculous, as all my deposits are made with Neteller, not creditcard.
Also, if you want people to sign faxbackforms or anything like that, please send them in a printable format, not just as part of the email.
My printer could not handle it for some reason, so I had to write the numbers down on a piece of paper, sign every one of them, scan it and mail it.

And now hope you guys accept it..

One last thing.
I live in Holland, and altough it may look like a piece of extra service to translate mailers from English to Dutch with google translate, in reality proper English is much easier to understand than google translated English/Dutch.
So please keep it in English. Especially important ones like documents requests.

But it was soo good to play Scary Rich again!
So pay me in a timely manner and I'll be back.:D

Well I guess their post did succeed in bringing more business.....which was the whole purpose.

I'm glad that you won, but it does kinda look like they are being "rewarded" for unethical/cloaked advertising methods.

I hope that others heed what Bryan has said in regards to Rival casinos and white labels.

He created this thread today, I played there last weekend.
Its pure coincidence.

And yes, Rivals are bad, we know.
But I'm so fed up with RTG, I just WANTED to play some Rival.
My choice, my money, my risk.
Those 25 bucks granted me more fun than my last 10 deposits at RTG did.

But 95% of my play is Microgaming.

Hi everybody,

I received a few messages from people trying to be helpful and we got some good advice. It was pointed out that the post was 'Shilly" and we will remove it at COB today once you have had a chance to read this.

I will post again simply offering my services as a casino rep.

De Beuker - I saw your withdrawal last night and I believe it will be paid today or tomorrow according to the Security team. I will keep an eye on it for you. I will also investigate why you had to sign for deposits that date back to 2009.

To everyone else - please accept an apology for the "shilly" post.

Kind regards,
Duwayne

Hi there,

Thank you so much! The advice received from you guys has been overwhelming!

Need some more though :p What do we need to do to be placed "On Probation"?

Kind regards,
Tropica

Contacting Bryan privately would be the best idea.

Is Tropica a white label? If so you may find the going tough.

Hi Nifty29,

Thank you once again for all the advice and help.

Yes, we are a white label, however this should not be reason enough to lump us with other casinos who have disappointed players in the past. A white label simply means that support and processing is outsourced every thing else is managed by the operator, but this is not 100% true for Tropica.

In our case, we review every single email that comes in and make sure that responses are accurate and friendly. If agents make mistakes or do not provide proper service, we address it with the agent directly. We monitor player activity, player chats, player notes and forums to make sure Tropica is delivering what players want.

We mail suggestions and information through to Rival on a daily basis and we are always looking for ways to improve our brand. We have a wealth of experience and know that this business won't work without good customer service, fast payouts and great software.

I will mail Bryan now and see if he will give us the opportunity to prove ourselves to the gaming community :)

Regards,
Duwayne

If you're serious why have ridiculous promotions?

I haven't played Rival for a while so I loaded Tropica and found 2 freeplay promos. One was 5,000 free credits for one hour and a 40x playthrough (I think). Now that is at least 2,700 spins at max bet of 37.50 - about 1.4 seconds for each spin. Max cashout is tiny - 100 or so (again this is for memory so might be incorrect).

Obviosly this playthrough is impossible to meet so just what is the point of the promotion?

I think you also have to deposit to claim the $100 and then meet further WR, unless things have changed.

Most rival promos are awful....just awful.

It's interesting that the only really decent operators jumped ship (Slotocash)

That's not entirely true, since Slotocash sistercasino Desert Night still is a Rival.

Tropica gives out so many free chips that it would be insane to have wagering that was easy to accomplish. I play them. That way I get my Rival fix and don't have the need to make deposits to be able to play. Sorry Tropica but that is true:p

Rival sucks. Like the games, hate their bonus baits and you really can't win on those. I'd never consider depositing at a Rival. This is one owner and software that just needs to go away. They are sucking the last breathes and will be D.O.A.

Hi Scampo,

I can assure you that we do not offer 5000 free credits at this moment in time. We never have and doubt it is worth doing in the future.

We have spent a lot of time working through our offers and feel we have a fair mix of bonuses and play-through requirements to cater to everyone's needs. If anyone feels differently, then please feel free to PM me and I will review and respond accordingly :)

Kind regards,
Tropica

Hiya,

Thanks again for the constructive remarks and suggestions!

Some members here have advised against the amount of free chips we give away and we agree. We have now split our DB into those who can get free chips and those who can't ;)

Yes, we will still award a freebie now and then just in case a "freebie only player" decides he likes one of our offers when they log in to claim their chip, but for the most, we will focus on our new customers and our depositing customers, making sure they are enjoying their Tropica experience.

All the best,
Tropica

Rival casinos have traditionally offered predatory BS, unbeatable bonuses. You guys all need to just go away....seriously. There is not one Rival casino out there that is worth the price of the explosives required to blow it to hell. There is not one Rival casino that should even have posting privs on the forums, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe it's different elsewhere, but for the USA, ya all have made your stain.
